Did Rick Warren’s Invocation At The US Presidential Inauguration Assert The False Pagan Muslim god Is Comparable With The One True God?

by @ 10:53 pm. Filed under Nuts on Parade

Keep in mind, the false pagan Muslim god has no Son that is One with him. Muslims see Jesus as the “son of Mary” and nothing more than a prophet below the stature of the false prophet Muhammad. So the false Muslim god is never to be compared with the One True God who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Because the Muslim god is a false god.

If Rick Warren did not spend so much time hanging out with Muslims, I would not think much of this. But given he hangs with Muslims, his words had to be intentional.

Warren’s ‘inclusive’ prayer ignites reactions

Pastor Rick Warren’s invocation at President Obama’s inauguration today has ignited a flurry of critiques for using words from the Jewish, Christian and Muslim holy texts as well as including the name of Jesus – in several languages.

Leading up to the prayer, bloggers and commentators debated whether Warren – an evangelical pastor blasted by the homosexual community for his opposition to same-sex marriage – would draft a prayer that was inclusive of the many Americans of differing religions, moralities and politics or whether it would be solely reflective of evangelical Christian theology.

Following the prayer, some criticized him for being too inclusive.

Islam expert Robert Spencer at JihadWatch.org, an organization dedicated to bringing public attention to jihad theology and defending Western society, criticized Warren for including a common refrain from Islam’s Quran – “You are the compassionate and merciful one.”.

“‘The compassionate, the merciful’ is, of course, a reference to the invocation at the beginning of every chapter of the Qur’an except one: Bismillah al-Rahman al-Rahim, ‘In the name of Allah, the compassionate, the merciful,’” Spencer writes.

This is what happens once you start making it a priority to please everybody, instead of sticking to the message of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. And of course if Rick stuck to just the gospel he would not be very popular and you’d never have seen him giving an address at a Presidential inauguration. If Muslims are inviting you to their meetings and all you can say to them at the meeting is that you want to join with them and forget differences, the slippage is going to show. Be leery of men who construct prayers that will tickle even a pagan’s ears.

Rick Warren, A Not So New Type Of Heretic.

by @ 12:44 am. Filed under Nuts on Parade

Not so new, because his type have been around for ages. OK, I’ll start this post with that scripture I’ve repeatedly cited and will cite again because it seems the heretics and false teachers are being exposed well by it lately.

2 Corinthians 6:14-18 (New American Standard Bible)

14 Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?

15 Or what harmony has Christ with Belial, or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever?

16 Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said,
“I WILL DWELL IN THEM AND WALK AMONG THEM;
AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE.
17 “Therefore, COME OUT FROM THEIR MIDST AND BE SEPARATE,” says the Lord.
“AND DO NOT TOUCH WHAT IS UNCLEAN;
And I will welcome you.
18 “And I will be a father to you,
And you shall be sons and daughters to Me,”
Says the Lord Almighty.

And with that in mind, we can see when reading the articles below why Rick Warren is a man to avoid. Because he’s happily bound to all manner of evil.

Barack Obama selects gay Episcopal bishop to pray at inaugural kickoff event

In a statement late Monday, Warren complimented Obama’s decision to invite Robinson. “President-elect Obama has again demonstrated his genuine commitment to bringing all Americans of goodwill together in search of common ground,” Warren said. “I applaud his desire to be the president of every citizen.”

(Hat tip to Robert for alerting me to that one.)

The President elect is having an apostate who promotes a doctrine of abomination and Rick Warren is like cool count me in.

Pastor Rick Warren addresses Muslim group, emphasizes need to find common ground

…Orange County Pastor Rick Warren spoke Saturday night to about 800 members of the Muslim Public Affairs Council at its convention in Long Beach.

Warren’s theme was about people getting along, forgetting their differences and focusing on areas of agreement. The audience cheered him, and many people rose to their feet.

Among the first to stand was singer Melissa Etheridge, a lesbian, who performed for the audience.

A council spokeswoman acknowledged that some members objected to the choice of the evangelical pastor as the keynote speaker.

“We’re always looking to work with unlikely partners, and I think he’s a new kind of evangelical,” said spokeswoman Edina Lekovic. “We have a lot in common.”

Warren, like many Muslims, opposes abortion and same-sex marriage. Lekovic said he was introduced to the council by Orange County Muslim leaders who held an interfaith picnic with his congregation.

Warren also served as part of a “prayer circle” of supportive clergy leaders during Obama’s presidential campaign.

(Hat tip Kyle.)

Notice that claim of a “new kind of evangelical”. Well he’s really just the mold of old heretics. He’s even playing the keynote speaker role at an event with pagans and homosexuals. And just like his antichristness Benedict XVI, Warren wants to have “common ground” with pagans. Do you think the apostle Paul would have addressed a room filled with pagan deniers of Jesus as the Christ and talked about “forgetting their differences and focusing on areas of agreement”? Well, Paul did address pagans and here’s what he said.

Acts 17:22-34 (New American Standard Bible)

22 So Paul stood in the midst of the Areopagus and said, “Men of Athens, I observe that you are very religious in all respects. 23 “For while I was passing through and examining the objects of your worship, I also found an altar with this inscription, ‘TO AN UNKNOWN GOD.’ Therefore what you worship in ignorance, this I proclaim to you. 24 “The God who made the world and all things in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands; 25 nor is He served by human hands, as though He needed anything, since He Himself gives to all people life and breath and all things; 26 and He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation, 27 that they would seek God, if perhaps they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; 28 for in Him we live and move and exist, as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we also are His children.’ 29 “Being then the children of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by the art and thought of man. 30 “Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now declaring to men that all people everywhere should repent, 31 because He has fixed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness through a Man whom He has appointed, having furnished proof to all men by raising Him from the dead.”
32 Now when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some began to sneer, but others said, “We shall hear you again concerning this.” 33 So Paul went out of their midst. 34 But some men joined him and believed, among whom also were Dionysius the Areopagite and a woman named Damaris and others with them.

Paul did not try to please the crowd. He didn’t tell them things to have them all stand on their feet and cheer. A true man of God, Paul told those who did not know the truth, that they need to repent because Jesus Christ has been raised from the dead and will return to judge! Some of the audience sneered, any LA Times reporter probably would have deemed Paul insensitive and a zealot. But those who God called joined Paul and believed.

What Rick Warren is doing is the opposite of how to deal with those who don’t believe in Jesus. What Rick Warren promotes is another gospel. One God had Paul to warn us about.

Galatians 1:6-10 (New American Standard Bible)

6 I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a different gospel; 7 which is really not another; only there are some who are disturbing you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed! 9 As we have said before, so I say again now, if any man is preaching to you a gospel contrary to what you received, he is to be accursed!
10 For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ.

Warren has people of Saddleback “church” engaging in things such as an “interfaith picnic” with pagans. And Warren visits pagans to claim it’s time to “forget differences”. Never mind they deny Christ, Warren just wants to work with them in order to score some political points. Warren’s eyes are caught up on the cares of this world and it is most dangerous to follow him.

A Look At What Rick Warren Is Teaching.

Rick Warren: the “Uber Pastor” with friends in high places

Honestly, what Rick was pushing in that so-called sermon sounded just like what I’ve heard from many prosperity heretics. Much in James 4 is either being mishandled or ignored by Rick and others such as him.

Dominonism, Just Take For Yourself And Claim You’re Doing God A Favor.

by @ 10:23 pm. Filed under Nuts on Parade

When debating promoters of the false health and wealth doctrine, some of us Christians often ask them, why didn’t the Apostles “name and claim” the famine in their time away? Well the Apostles did not, because the prosperity doctrine is a farce. Apostles told saints who were poor to be good slaves without desire for earthly riches, not that they had earthly riches coming, 1 Timothy 6. And with the false prosperity doctrine, often comes the false doctrine of dominionism. Just claiming you and those of your viewpoint will just take over everything because you feel God wants you to have it. And again, the question must be asked by true Christians, why didn’t the Apostles just take over places they went? Instead they went places and were greatly abused, while not crying over abuse from the world, they rather took issue with saints allowing abuse from people who claim to be within the church. See how Paul speaks of his being abused by the world, yet disliking seeing saints in Corinth allow false apostles to abuse them in 2 Corinthians 11. The church is to be about keeping THE CHURCH clean, not asserting rule over the world, it is God who will judge and take rule over the world, 1 Corinthians 5:13. But there are some who desire to take over NOW, they claim it’s for the Lord, but in reality it is for their own bellies.

Dominonism announcement on a T-Shirt, Eddie Long style.

Above is a T-shirt I used to wear with pride. The deluded pride that comes when falling for false doctrines. I only thank God through Jesus Christ for having learned the error of my ways. The T-shirt was given to me during a public service effort while at the place known as New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, aka Club New Birth. Headed by false teacher and prosperity doctrine proponent Eddie Lee Long. We were doing a form of public patrolling of South Dekalb Mall (a mall in GA) during the event once known as “Freaknik”. It was done during the early daylight hours of that day. Basically, we were trying to keep things at the mall calm enough for regular folks and the elderly to do their shopping without interruption and raunchy activity going on. Trying to maintain calm for good people to avoid having to see lewd acts in their sight is not a problem, but look at the words on the shirt. It is the shirt all who participated in the effort were given to wear that day. You can click the smaller front and back pictures of the shirt above, to see larger more readable versions of the shirt. The front mentions “Nation of Jesus”, with a cross, the group’s name and the senior pastor’s name. Although he never earned a doctorate, the letters after his name might mislead some to feel he earned one. He’s only ever had honorary doctorate degrees. The use of the term “Nation of Jesus” was basically a flip of the “Nation of Islam” (NOI) name used by that particular cult. And the patrolling was a form of copy of what the NOI does in some areas. So the effort was actually patterned off something done by a group of pagans, although keeping an area calm for elderly people to do their AM shopping is not an evil act at all.

The back of the shirt really tells the true misguided goal, “Taking Over” and the quote is attributed to “Eddie L. Long”. It was really a move to assert the group’s “dominion”, that’s where the evil lies. Because not only does Eddie Long promote the false money doctrine, he’s also a promoter of dominionism. Please also see the post on the blog I’m Speaking Truth titled: Pimps – The Gathering. Notice the “Taking Authority” title. This is also the name of Eddie Long’s TV broadcast. And for Eddie Long, we who have spent years at Club New Birth KNOW it’s about more than Ephesians 6:12 for Mr. Long. Eddie Long really wants to keep his name in the public eye and a fixture in the WORLD, which is why he does things like hosting an Obama inauguration celebration. What Eddie is pushing for is very much what the woman in the video below wants. Taking a place “in the world”.

WAS BISHOP WEEKS SET UP?

The issue is, that these people are focused on their own gain and what they can claim, while trying to slap the Lord’s name on the front of it. As the Lord Jesus has warned.

Matthew 13:22 (New American Standard Bible)

22 “And the one on whom seed was sown among the thorns, this is the man who hears the word, and the worry of the world and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.

They are not truly focused on sharing the saving message of the Lord Jesus and suffering for it. People claiming to be Christians, are falsely trying to claim the world for themselves, claiming they will take over even before the Lord’s return. Some of them might even feel God approves, but the doctrine of dominonism is a false gospel, please avoid it. And also remember John 18:36.
