You should start with this old post if you have not already reviewed it in full.

Because this current post is simply follow-up to present other witnesses who affirm the group Fellowship Of The Martyrs is under the leadership of false teachers, Doug Perry (YouTube ID FOTM1) and Chris Evans (YouTube ID rancherforchrist). It is a group to be avoided and I only link to their site so saints can know the group’s web site when they run across it in the future, so they know to avoid it. Poison in milk will still kill you. Poison in meat will still kill you.

And I will say, for anyone reading this who has come to me in the past saying “I know of pastor so and so having an affair and women who will talk about it.” (Seeking for me to investigate and present the information.) You should take it upon yourself/yourselves to present your case as these witnesses have done. Rather than seeking to have me present your case for you. Web sites and videos can be put online for free these days. These witnesses were willing to take the risks involved in telling their own stories.

This is getting so bad, it seems the police over in Liberty, Missouri should probably see what’s going on in that so-called Christian commune.

update 6/12/2008 7:38PM:False teacher Doug Perry (YouTube ID FOTM1) contacted me asking if I would like to “talk” with him. No Doug, I never want to talk to you unless and until the day comes that God grants you true repentance for your sins. I knew you were false teaching way before anyone else said it on YouTube, from what I saw you teaching myself. Per 1 Corinthians 5, you are a false brother and deserve no communication. Several have already tried talking to you (just look at all the people who have already made videos especially for you) and no more saints need to waste time with you, I won’t. God (the real God, not that false voice between your ears) commands me to avoid you. Cease your attempts to contact me, this is my first and last address to you directly, Romans 16:17 [click to expand link]. It’s not me you need to talk to, you need to talk to the One True God and repent. If God grants grace to you that would enable you repentance and I pray that He will if it is His will to do so.

As I’ve said before, I don’t speak much about false teachers who base their operations on YouTube, because there are so many. However, there is one that is very popular and includes a commune component out in Liberty, Missouri. People going there, giving up all their worldly possessions and so on. Only to find they were duped, scammed, misled by false teachers. I’m not saying this, the people who have been closely involved with the group are saying it. So I won’t say any more, I’ll just let you watch their videos.

There are 3 videos below. The first is a 2 video auto-loading playlist, that plays automatically when you start it, about 20 minutes in length. The 2nd is a 3 video auto-loading playlist, less than 30 minutes in length. And the final one is a single 10 minute video. All total about an hour in length, but I ask that you view them all before making comments.

FOTM1 is the YouTube account of Doug Perry. Doug and his pal Chris Evans (YouTube ID rancherforchrist) run the cult. Just so you know where their main Internet web site is, this is it. Best to totally avoid that cult, but now you will be able to know who they are if you ever run across them.

FOTM is fairly well know with Christians who frequent YouTube. I know personally I watched a few of Doug’s videos a while back. Thinking maybe he would have some good teaching. By about the 3rd video I heard him saying some nonsense I knew was not in good agreement with scripture and basically ended my subscription to their YouTube channel then. But with the little I heard that I realized was off I had NO CLUE what was really going on in that cult.

I have provided you 3 witnesses above. I can say for myself as a 4th witness, that although I never was “inside” the cult, never visited them in Liberty, Missouri and never read any of their books. I’ve seen enough of Doug’s teachings on YouTube, to know he’s not holding true to scripture. I rejected him, in terms of looking to him for any sort of instruction, after seeing some of his material. So all I can say is, please avoid Fellowship of the Martyrs. Avoid Doug Perry, avoid Chris Evans. Pray for them all. They very much have a cult going. And I suspect this is just how cults such as Mormonism got started.
