The giving must be way down for the ‘Bishop’ to resort to this heavyhanded reach into the pocket of the members. What never ceases to amaze me is how little Bible these so-called Dr.’s, Bishops, Apostles really comprehend.

They lack any real ability to properly exegete the the text, or they deliberately distort the meaning of the text to suit their own ends.

This is a horrible display of greed for filty lucre disguised as Bible preaching/teaching.

Here is the crazy part, I bet folks gave mo, money, mo money, mo money, than they had prior to him putting this mess of a message out there!

Somebody, tell the ‘Bishop’, the real God of the Bible, does NOT need our ‘permission’ for ANYTHING!!!!

Way more than 5 eventually figure it out as the Lord wills, but the issue is “greed”. All of us who were duped had issues with greed. Sort of like people who fall for the Nigerian e-mail scams, but on a spiritual level.

In a town like Atlanta, where everything is about moving upward, it’s very easy for false teachers like Eddie Long to operate.

This is what I find disturbing. I don’t know how many members he has, but let’s say it’s 10,000. Not even 5 out of 10,000 people have noticed something odd about a man who only talks about money and who really never preaches sermons? He prances around the stage in muscle tee shirts, showing off his biceps but where is the Word?

Also, I heard him “testify” a chilling scene once. He talked about how when one of his wives divorced him, he planned out a murder-suicide. He was going to kill this woman for leaving him.

He is so egocentric that it’s frightening.

I partially blame his members for not using their own brain. You were once a part of that church but you had the good sense to get up out of there. Why won’t others?

Well it’s about time you presented this thesis, brother – you’ve been working on it for almost a full year !

Seriously, you have (once again) exhaustively made the case that those who follow Eddie Long should RUN AS FAR AWAY AS THEY CAN AS FAST AS THEY CAN. You and I both sat under this hireling for a number of years, and we’ve seen the antagonists – from Neal Ellis to Paul Morton to Don Mears to TD Jakes and many, many more – come in to explain why they were going to rob us, rob us, then encourage Eddie to rob us even more…all of the guise of “you can’t get blessed unless you give to the mand of gawd first”.

There’s a part 2 to this? Good grief – I need to rinse of all the muck after reading the 1st part. May God keep you brother…
