So we're not some pack of folks trying to turn anyone away from Christ. We all <em>"hate the practices of the Nicolaitans"</em>. And we fully affirm Christ as our first love. Certainly there are saints who pray for things such as healing and receive it, doing as instructed in <a href="http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=James+5&version=NASB" rel="nofollow">James 5</a>, to call for the elders of the church. However, we must be honest when recognizing nobody today is honestly showing all that Paul had occur in the signs and wonders displayed. I have no problem saying we can't show a single person who actually displays all the signs and wonders Paul displayed. And with the foundation already having been laid, I'm not surprised that we don't. I do beleive that one day the two witnesses noted in <a href="http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Revelation+11&version=NASB" rel="nofollow">Revelation 11</a> will come and work all the miracles the Bible says will come with them. Paul said in 2 Cornithians that the marks of a true Apostle (in addition to correct doctrine) were at the time of his writing signs and wonders and miracles (2 Cor 12:12.) We are right to test those who claim ot be prophets and are not, but we should be careful not to lose out first love as Jesus mentioned to the Ephesian church in Revelation. God is all powerful and sovereign and I hope that the criticism of these men rests solely upon their own lack of integrity and the lying wonders they claim and not upon a doctrinal point of view that excludes the miraculous from ever occuring.
