Just when it seemed the issue of illegal immigration was forgotten, it has come up given Obama’s half aunt is in the USA illegally.

In a moment of hard economic times, when states are strapped for cash and floating that they need an economic “bailout”, states are cash strapped in part because they’re trying to support people who should not even be in the USA collecting government services in the first place! One of those people happens to be a relative of Senator and US Presidential candidate Obama.

The Obama campaign, which has generally refused to comment on any of Obama’s myriad half-siblings scattered throughout the globe, has generally refused to comment on Onyango though the campaign did confirm to the Times of London for its Saturday edition that she is Obama’s father’s half-sister.

Earlier this week the Times of London and the Boston Globe found the woman referred to in Obama’s memoir “Dreams From My Father” as “Aunt Zeituni.”

Obama has already shown he’s very weak on the issue of illegal immigration, just as weak as his main political rival John Sidney McCain III, they vote lock-step on the matter. (Just as they voted lock-step on the $700 billion for banks.) Now he’s got a relative who would be part of his amnesty efforts. All the while states are strapped and Obama desires to create more government bloat. (And McCain desires to create bloat of his own, so don’t take me as a McCain fan.) Allowing illegals to remain who we know get state services and increased federal bloat, will only increase the burden on ALL taxpayers at ALL levels of taxation. Even poor non-taxpayers who are seeking something like say PUBLIC HOUSING are impacted, because when illegal aliens are taking up a spot it makes less available for anybody else, like people living in the USA legally.

A person familiar with Onyango’s immigration status told the AP Friday that she “was instructed to leave the United States by a U.S. immigration judge who denied her asylum request…Onyango’s refusal to leave the country would represent an administrative, non-criminal violation of U.S. immigration law, meaning such cases are handled outside the criminal court system. Estimates vary, but many experts believe there are more than 10 million such immigrants in the United States.

Given the burden these illegals place on America, Obama should advise his half aunt to consider doing the right thing and going back to her homeland. Have her seek immigration via legitimate means after she leaves. The fact Obama’s own relative is an illegal alien makes him a terrible person to have at the head of the executive branch of government. The President selects the head of the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS). It would be better for Obama to recuse himself from seeking the Presidency. He has a familial conflict of interests, that could impact his ability to effectively lead the Executive branch of the US Government.

A searchable database of campaign donations on the Huffington Post indicates that Onyango has given her nephew’s presidential campaign $260 the Times reports that the donations she has given have been in small increments under $200 so by law they do not show up on Federal Election Commission reports.

Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., discloses donations of all amounts; he has criticized Obama for not disclosing all donations, saying such a process lends itself to illegal contributions, such as — presumably — Onyango’s.

If every illegal immigrant gave Obama $1, that’s over $10 million. If each gave him $250 (in small increments, so Obama would never fully disclose), that’s over $2,500,000,000.
