Your Sin Will Find You Out. Adultery Turned To Murder.

by @ 11:35 am. Filed under Nuts on Parade

Richard Scott Harper, a supposed pastor, engaged in adultery with a woman named Michelle Reynolds. And rather than ever resisting the temptations of their flesh, they decided to indulge flesh even more, in [allegedly] murdering Michelle’s husband Thad Reynolds. Personally, I feel both Richard Scott Harper and Michelle Reynolds deserve swift execution for their crimes. But it appears Richard has worked a plea deal, to get himself and his partner in adultery off a prospective seat on death row.

My brother Job over at Jesus Christology explains things and the best solution in his post: Sin Kills: Pastor Richard Scott Harper Murders Deacon So He Can Have His Wife.

Numbers 32:20-23 (New American Standard Bible)

20 So Moses said to them, “If you will do this, if you will arm yourselves before the LORD for the war,

21 and all of you armed men cross over the Jordan before the LORD until He has driven His enemies out from before Him,

22 and the land is subdued before the LORD, then afterward you shall return and be free of obligation toward the LORD and toward Israel, and this land shall be yours for a possession before the LORD.

23 “But if you will not do so, behold, you have sinned against the LORD, and be sure your sin will find you out.

Today, the only land a Christian needs to subdue is the territory of our own flesh, which only comes on TRUE BELIEF in the Lord Jesus Christ. He died for sin and rose again, and He is the only one who can cause us to be born again and conquer sin. Salvation is the free gift of God through His Only Begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Colossians 3:5 (New American Standard Bible)

5 Therefore consider the members of your earthly body as dead to immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which amounts to idolatry.

Don’t serve your flesh, serve God through Jesus Christ.

He worked out a deal to keep them off death row. I am always amazed when killers are afraid of dying. Life is so meaningless to them, you would think they would’nt care if they die for takeing someones life. But they always want to live. Do they consider their lives more valuable than the one they so readily took?
