And I have very good reason for my opinion. Thomas Alvin Body, I feel it would be best for you to turn yourself into police and for you to tell them about what you’ve done over so many years with little girls and women.
I’ve got testimony from multiple witnesses. (Some is already public and some I keep in confidence.) And know the crimes I feel you have committed have not all passed state statue of limitations. If your neighbors knew what some of us know about you, they might run you off the very block on which you live themselves.
We all know you ran from California. And I’ve got much information that shows you may have run to Georgia, but the evil of your flesh came with you. Information that was provided to me and information based on my own discussion with a victim.
There certainly is forgiveness for your soul, if you would believe in the Lord Jesus. But you have committed crimes not only against God, but in my opinion against people too, some who were children at the time. Which leaves a horrible question of what you might be engaged in even currently. And I know your wife Darlene Body knows, but apparently she has not told you to turn yourself into police. It seems she might even be an accessory to some crimes, by intimidating victims with you.
This matter is well beyond Matthew 18:15-17, because many have tried to already reach you in private and even more recently in public on your own radio program. This is now not only at 1 Timothy 5:19-20, but it’s been hanging at verse 20, because verse 19 was already fulfilled.

I’ve communicated myself with the woman who wrote the book. She does not mention TA Body by name in the book, but is now affirming, that in her book she speaks briefly about an incident with a pastor as a child and that pastor was T.A. Body. The book is currently being revised and I have her permission to mention that the book when released in about 6 weeks or less will be titled God, Why Didn’t He Cover Me. She DID NOT make a request to me to mention her book. She’s not trying to speak about this for fame. I asked her if I could mention her book and got her permission to do so. Because I know none of you reading this post take accusations like this lightly and you desire as much affirming evidence as possible. So see the evidence at ‘Profile of An Abusive Church’, in this regard there is documentation at the bottom of that page. The author of the book is listed there as the second victim alleging molestation at age 13.
There are very possibly more women out there who are victims and have kept quiet about this for many years. Fearful of not being believed. Well, if you were a victim of TA Body, you not only have no more need to remain silent, you should speak up for the good of others, before he abuses more people. So here’s what you can do if you have not done so already:
Of course you could contact me here or NYTN at his web page, but TA Body needs to be placed behind bars. I don’t have a jail cell, but the authorities do and it would be best that they are alerted by any victims.
It would be best for all Christians to avoid and rebuke Thomas Alvin Body, 1 Corinthians 5.
update 9/18/2008 1:53PM: I know the name he uses for his “church” group is ever changing, but I’ve been informed the current name is: The Church Of One Accord At Decatur.

Very sad, indeed. It seems as though Atlanta is the hotbed for pulpit pimps AND high-profile molestors in church. May God heal the innocent.

I would strongly urge anyone who has not yet listened to those tapes that NYTN created to do so. You can listen while on line, really. Powerful information and worth your time to listen to.

I think that we as Christians should not judge this man according to man’s heart, but against the Word of God. It has not been proven that this woman’s allegations of molest and abuse are true.
If this man has done the things that are alleged, then surely the Lord would deal with him in the matter. I actually heard the live confrontation. She should have gone to him about this issue alone and if the issue was not resolved, then she should have gone to the elders of the church. That’s what the word of God says. Not to mention she did this on 9/11. I guess it was her day for an emergency call.
I have reviewed the information that NYTN presented on youtube and google videos. To me, it amounts to someone, NYTN, as a person who has serious issues with Body. Why would you waste your time blasting someone over and over again about the same issue? He also enlisted the services of a corrupt leader within the COGIC to further prove his point. (This is proven)
The point of my reply is that we Christians, should not be so quick to judge because someone just merely says something. If Body committed these aggregious acts, then the Lord is just and will deal with him. It’s not our battle, it’s the Lords.

Dear Trustinghim80, you claim we should judge according to the Word of God. I agree. The Word of God says the following:
1 Timothy 5:19-20 (New American Standard Bible)
And so there are multiple witnesses. If these people don’t speak openly, how do we obtain multiple witnesses? How could these people “have gone to the elders of the church” when at TA Body’s church assembly, he’s calling the shots and he’s the one being accused? What you claim should have been is impossible. They have rebuked TA Body openly as a warning to others. This is being handled in a very upstanding and godly manner. The witnesses are warning and NYTN has proven he tried to reach TA Body privately. If you’ve read the information at his web page, you already know there is information about a 3rd witness there. As for the woman who called TA Body’s radio program, she only spoke up as another witness after others had spoken openly, to be another witness, so her actions were legitimate. He had already been found to be sinning against many others, so she was free to join in the open rebuke of TA Body. She spoke out to warn others.
I doubt you’d desire so much silence if it was your own child. Or have you had a child abused in this fashion and kept your own mouth shut?
I agree with the Word of God, the open rebuke of TA Body should continue, unabated and I feel he belongs in prison.

My apologies for not responding to your comment sooner then now. I had to go to his church myself to see if this person is really the person that was being presented in these blogs were as horrible as you have asserted. I even had time to chat with some that were Elders in Body’s church.
I think it is custom that pastors and bishops appoint elders in each indivdual church. Your comment suggests that these women cannot speak to the elders at the church because Body has hand selected them. What pastor has not done the same? These elders still have the same charge to keep as any other elder appointed by other pastors.
I asked what was the process for bringing up issues in the church. They use the same formula as in what Jesus described. Take it to the person first and if they fail to get repudiation, then take it to the elders. They say, it doesn’t matter who at the church it is, including Body. From your comments, I firmly know that these people have not gone to Body individually to discuss this matter. Just because someone is a public figure, it doesn’t mean that their issues should be made public unless it’s proven. The truth of the matter is that we are all public people.
I do not agree that the “open rebuke” should continue because the allegations have not been proven. I don’t even see it as an open rebuke, rather I see it as allegations that have been made public inappropriately.
Now to address the notion of the 20 verse of 1 Tim 5. Has Body continued the behaviors as alleged? My understanding is that these things have happen 20 to 30 years ago. So has Body continued in this sin? Unfortunately, you cannot apply this verse to Body because nothing has been proven. You only have 3 people who are alleging this behavior, none of which is proven.
Until you take this to the elders of his church, you have no basis.
Finally, I would never allow my child(ren) to become close with clergy. The difference between me and the other people that have asserted these allegations is that I have an open relationship with my kids. They are free to come to me and let me know what’s happening in their lives. They have been taught to never let anyone touch them inappropriately and if so, they should come to either parent.
It is my belief that you have prejugded this man and have not given him his due process to clear his name. I don’t think he belongs to be imprisoned if nothing has been proven.
Let me be clear, I am not on anyone’s side in this matter. I just think that we Christian should be careful to judge and more to dealing with the issues that plague our churches.

trustinghim80,
Did you miss the part where it was noted that one of the people speaking against TA Body used to be a minister there and affirms things do not work as biblically as you might suspect? Others with complaints have already affirmed the same.
Several of them have and you show you have not thoroughly reviewed the material offered.
The MULTIPLE witnesses say YES. Again you show you have not reviewed all material offered. Some witnesses speak of cases that occurred less than 20 years ago. And even if nothing occurred in the last 20 years, he’s still never reconciled with those who are mentioning abuse over 20 years ago. Even if he last abused someone 30 years ago, he still in my opinion belongs behind bars.
So then you’re obviously using the standard of man’s court system instead of the Bible. Because you’re saying nothing has been “proven” as if “proven” means TA Body must have been found guilty in a court under the laws of men. You can’t have it both ways, there are many witnesses and we know TA Body ran from CA, because of others. Far more than enough witnesses by biblical standards.
Again you ignore the information already provided. You also ignore that TA Body ran from CA and it was after elders within COGIC became aware of issues.
Trustinghim80, I find no value in continuing back and forth with you, when you’re speaking from double standards and have not reviewed all data already provided for you. So I’m kicking you off this blog. That will give you time to review the material instead of attempting to go back and forth with me repeatedly. You might even want to use the time to speak with the witnesses. You see the person who made the videos is very open to speaking with anyone with honest questions.
