Well start with this post if you have not already read it, because I’m not going over the details twice: Not The Actions of a Committed Christian. US Presidential Candidate Barack Hussein Obama, Junior Prays at Idolized Western Wall, With Deniers of Jesus? Lordship. Really, if you have not read that post, please take the time to read it before reading any further.
I guess with the media blowing up every move of Obama, it was well known when he did it. But I didn’t know that John McCain also did it. And no big surprise, Bush did it in 1998 and then did it again some years later.
I guess if you want to be President, you need money and to maximize you have to go pray at the “Wailing Wall”, to get your money to flow right. I mean being an ally to Israel is fine, but praying at an idol is a totally different story all together! Which basically means, any man trying to be President apparently feels he must bow to an idol (a wall) if he wants any shot at winning.
Well McCain refuses to talk much about his “faith”, but the evidence certainly does not look good regarding his claims of being a Christian. All his actions prove him to be just like all the rest.
Nope, I can’t stand to vote for either McCain or Obama. I have no doubt, that if America was a majority Buddhist nation, they could claim Buddhism. If these men want to play games with the One in whom I believe, I don’t care to vote for them. I’m not knocking any of you who vote for either regarding their idolatry, but I can’t personally do it and I’m only speaking for myself. (Of course I’ve also got many policy related reasons why I won’t vote for either, that I’ve detailed before.) I’ve really got a feeling, I might be closer to never voting for a Democratic or Republican Presidential candidate than I thought I was. Nothing the Greens, Constitution (Party) or Libertarians are putting up suits me either. There is really not a single known candidate left, that I care to vote for.

Truth is you may want to consider running in the next couple of years for a political position or prepare your child to do so…just a thought..Think about it!

hey IC, do you know anything about Alan Keyes? He’s a Republican I believe and I think he trys to acknowledge God in everything he says or does. I don’t know much about him though and I thought I read somewhere that he is running for president but he’s not on every state’s ballot. I wish I could find the article I read about that but it seems to be hiding from me. Oh well just check him out if you haven’t already.

Alan Keyes is like Jesse Jackson with a better set of morals. Basically just like Jesse Jackson, Alan Keyes only runs for things he knows he’ll lose. So he can keep profiteering off his soapbox. Jesse Jackson plays off Liberals, Alan Keyes off Conservatives.
I respect that Alan Keyes promotes good morals and have even spoken of him favorably here at times. But his basis comes from Roman Catholic tradition and he’s living his life as if Roman Catholicism will save his soul.
Nah, I don’t have any plans of voting for Alan Keyes, because he does this dance once about every four years.
Growing up in Baltimore, we heard a LOT of Alan Keyes. Because back then, he’d do the same stuff. He’d run for offices he had no shot of winning. Then as he became popular, he stopped running for those lower state offices, that he could win once popular and instead he decided to run for things like PRESIDENT. Just like Jesse Jackson, soap boxing and running for offices for nothing more than name recognition. Then he goes back to selling books and holding more rallies and so on and it keeps him politically popular enough to make a living from it, but he also avoids assuming any role in politics that he has a shot at winning.
Alan Keyes is really an operative for the Vatican. They harp “values, values, values”, all the while they are pressing more Roman Catholics into office and running the Vatican’s agenda. Hoping we all act as if Roman Catholic tradition is good and Christian when it’s not.
How many hours did Alan Keyes have us (well maybe not you because you may not recall, but many of us) running around trying to keep gigantic copy of the 10 Commandments on court grounds in Alabama? I mean I’m fine with them being posted, but Keyes and others made it into something to sit around and have prayer vigils over. If the government says take them down, than remove it and get over it was a more appropriate response, instead of making that a centerpiece for grandstanding. But Keyes NEEDS something to keep stirred just as Jesse Jackson does.
Look at Alan Keye’s campaign web site. He’s not even bothering with laying out positions on issues or anything. Just asking for money. Because it’s not a serious run. He’s just collecting money to spend and then he’ll do it again in 4 years.
