He missed his true calling. He would have done better as a comedian.

  2. psalm100 Says:

I have never seen anything like this. I am very leery about Todd.

  3. rascoe1 Says:

It is so sad. These people really believe it is of God. You know, had it not been for Gods’ mercy, I could have been one of them. THANK YOU JESUS!!!!!. Poor little girl, may the Lord have mercy on her.

  4. godlysoldier Says:

Yeah, they are going crazy alright and the fire is on them, but trust, it’s not the “Holy Ghost” fire…more like what “hells fire” will be like!

Wait, what is the mass seek-cu-boom-bah! UNBELIEVABLE!

  5. IndependentConservative Says:

Ha, I didn’t even know the term “hells” was in the censor program.

I can’t uncensor the comment, but I’ve removed the term from the filter, so it should not censor that in the future.

  6. IndependentConservative Says:

OK, looks like I’m having trouble getting it out of the censor program 😀 …

  7. KyleNYC Says:

Can’t get out of the censor proram? That’s because Todd Bentley took it over Yo!!! 🙂

  9. godlysoldier Says:

Yeah, I was surprised that word was censored.

    LOL at Kyle’s comment…

  10. Yvette Says:

Did anyone notice how he shakes he head and has a stupid little grin on his face after he says bam. If he went to a mental institution they would kick him out because he was too insane.

  11. Yvette Says:

You know what? I don’t know whether to be angry or sad. Angry because they are acting like it’s a joke or sad because they are too stupid to care what they are doing?

  12. IndependentConservative Says:

Yes, they all shake around, WITH NO SELF CONTROL!!!

Galatians 5:22-23, we know it’s not of God.

  13. stan Says:

Over time, people who subject themselves to a gospel whose main effect is on the body, suffer damage to their souls (let alone the spiritual damage). It acts much like drugs. Drugs are used to pursue good feelings without any appropriate context. So is this kind of spiritual high being seen in the Lakeland meetings and ministry.

You can see the delirious effect the “baptism” was having on the participants. It was not joy, but a soulish high. The downside later is withdrawal. Depression, irritability, instability and sensual indulgences overtake these people. The sins that Jesus promises to remove are back with a vengeance. Hence, the promised destruction of following false teachers and prophets comes to them. Remember, both the blind leader (the perp) and the blind follower (the victim) fall into the same ditch (hell). Only repentance unto acknowledging of the truth can save them from this devil’s snare.

What is noticeably lacking in their lives are the effects of the Spirit. Instead of being led away from their sins and their flesh as is promised in Ro. 8:13-14, just the opposite is occurring in Lakeland. For example, and I take no pleasure in saying this, but Todd Bentley’s marriage is now breaking up, according to Lee Grady of Charisma magazine. Fresh Godly fruit from a divine revival? No. It is the fruit of a revival centered on physical and emotional effects; not on God’s Word and Spirit. “Bam” indeed.

Let’s continue to stay alert and stay armored up with the truth, just as Jesus and His apostles command us.

  14. psalm100 Says:

Welll it looks likes Todd has been engaging in immoral behavior. See Sorry yall I don’t know how to post a link. Still learning about the computer world!!!

  15. IndependentConservative Says:

“an unhealthy relationship on an emotional level with a female member of his staff”, oh no!!!! Well I was not speaking about his marital issues, in hopes he and his wife might reconcile, but it’s about time to make a post in light of this information. Perhaps they can still reconcile, but I’m not going to be silent any longer.

Although I know Todd Bentley is false, I’m still saddened to hear this information about him.

A full post about this is forthcoming.

  16. stan Says:

What bothers me about Fresh Fire’s take on this unpleasant (and unfortunate) personal business is the way they still see this whole Lakeland thing (although I wasn’t hoping for different): “we so regret that in the midst of great revival, the enemy has found a way into our camp.” Indeed?! A great revival that the enemy broke into?? Not a fleshly piece of hype that went on for over a hundred days that eventually exhibited its fruit in its main leader? No: To redouble their efforts: “We will continue to host conferences in our region with speakers and worship leaders from around the nation whose message and mandates resonate with the vision and heart of Fresh Fire Ministries.
Oh goody! Yep, keep it going by some other front man. (I’d lose the tattoos and piercings maybe next time. Just a friendly hint.)

  17. godlysoldier Says:

I hate to say this because my heart truly grieves over the breakup of any marriage…BUT Stevie Wonder saw this coming. It was just a matter of time before the story would become public.
The whole “sexual immorality” issue goes hand in hand with “spiritual immorality.”
