Once upon a time, con men actually had to pay people to support their scams. Bentley has people doing it for free willingly, because he’s got you all charged about hope for something temporal. I’m sure if we looked at some testimonies of people who used snake oil, they’d look like what we see from Todd Bentley endorsers.

I left a comment on your blog pretty much echoing the words of my brothers IC and speakingtruth. You can pick and choose what tests the Bible present for the accuracy of any “man of God” – you have to apply them all together…

I mean if Timothy could read something like this “SLAIN IN THE SPIRIT” and gain some understanding, he will better learn what settle this based solely on the Word really means!

The Watchtower Society that runs the cult known as the “Jehovah’s Witnesses” claims Jesus came in the flesh too, you seeking to be one of them? A host of CULTS claim Jesus came in the flesh, it does not make them legitimate.

2 corinthians 8 is centered around almsgiving, and a gift given by a group of people for another that is merely stewarded by trustworthy individuals. Even so, it does not call for external investigation. It calls for integrity of the steward.

I think you’re missing the fact that Paul was ALWAYS OPEN to checks in the management of a gift. It’s not just noted in 2 Corinthians 8, but in 1 Corinthians 16:3-4 too. Again, are we not to TEST ALL THINGS?

Nobody in Rome outside of the church was concerned about how Paul was managing a gift, but if they were, do you not feel he would be open to their scrutiny? To prove himself an honorable man to all who asked? Paul said himself of one who desires to become an elder.

Do you not feel he would apply the same standard to himself if questioned about his managing of finances?

Regarding Jesus you mentioned:

Was it relationship or God through the Holy Spirit, that let them know who He was, Matthew 16:17? It was not simply a matter of them hanging around Him, or how could Judas have ever been Judas?

The actions of Ezekiel, Hosea and Jesus are not comparable with kicking a woman in her face when we are explicitly warned about such in 2 Corinthians 11:13-20. You have nothing to support such actions from Todd Bentley. And if you feel Todd Bentley is even near the level of Ezekiel or Hosea, you are woefully mistaken.

There are no female angels, to start claiming such is to add to scripture. Never are angels shown to assume a feminine posture. No it does not line up with scripture. You might feel Todd does not exalt himself, but evidence proves otherwise.

Sir, Todd Bentley claims the boy was healed and being healed right there on the stage, when in fact the boy was lame and remained that way. This is the same Todd Bentley who claims he’s see Jesus face to face and spoken to a female angel named Emma.

The true fruit will stand up to the test, it is good to test.

Exactly, so he falsely speaks of a female angel, he does exalt himself and smile of people “praising Todd and God” (see the link above), no confirmed healings not that a confirmed healing would prove he’s legitimate given false prophets bring sings and wonders of their own.

He does not spend his time preaching the truth, but mostly doing supposed healings, that never prove to be actual healings.

What more does he need to do to show you he’s false? Rob your house? Well he does rob you in telling you to give him money as if he’s legitimate, but what does he need to do in addition to all that already proves him to be false?
