This is a very sobering reminder for all of us who claim the name of the Lord. I haven’t had to involve the authorities yet, but I am surprised by the level of vitriolic emails that I receive daily as a result of my role in helping to sound the alarm against false teachers and their doctrine.

I blog anonymously at the insistence of my wife and family – she knows how crazy the enemies are and she doesn’t want to watch her back when at home or out with our children (and believe me it’s gotten that intense).

That being said, the message of the Cross and the work of Christ is too important to dwell on the nutjobs out there. Shawn will be fine, and the Lord will reward him for his work AND create another venue for him to continue his ministry.

I ask that all of you who visit this and other blogs keep IC, Shawn, Melvin @ Pulpit Pimps, Pastor Foster @ Gay Christian Movement Watch and others in your prayers as they continue to contend for AND defend the faith.

Wow…this is really serious! People should be ashamed! Giving out death threats?? All he was doing was proclaiming the truth, and they think this is what he deserves? Well they will be getting what they deserve soon enough.

Like Rascoe1 said, thank you guys for telling the truth of God’s word so people like me, when we happen to stumble across these blogs, can examine ourselves and see if we are really spreading the true gospel as we should instead of the false doctrine we’re taught in these “clubs.”

May God continue to protect him and everyone connected to him.

What about his freedom of speech? Does it go away with being a christian? I notice that people who spew garbage seem to have more rights than thosethat says, JESUS SAVES, JESUS LIVES, JESUS IS COMING AGAIN FOR A SPOTLESS BRIDE AND IS THE ONLY WAY TO SALVATION. They are all happy when we behave lilke mindless fools (pulpit pimps and friends). But as soon as we stand up for the PURE WORD OF GOD, we get threats. IC, ST, GCM and others, you all keep standing firm and keep doing the job that you have beencalled to do.

My dear brother VenomFangX/Shawn, it is a very good thing to apply Godly wisdom ot all that you do and if the Lord told you to shut it down, shut it down. Remember my brother, that no one can harm you, ABSOLUTELY NO ONE, if it is not in Gods’ will. Do not fear, may the Lord continue to build and edge of protection around you and your family.

And the nasty comments you read, were the ones he actually allowed to be posted. Those who dislike him are also upset because he does not allow ALL THEIR COMMENTS and ALL THEIR RESPONSE VIDEOS to be/remain posted. It's like those Paul called "wild beasts" that he "fought with" (tried to reason with) as noted in 1 Corinthians 15:32. Shawn by birth is a Hebrew (Jewish) and has embraced the truth of Christ. So the "Jews" attack him as an apostate. He used to also be an atheist, so he reaches out to atheists in ministry and atheists know their garbage is untrue, they are without excuse as noted in Romans 1. So it makes some of them uncomfortable to hear someone tell them they will burn in the lake of fire for eternity if they don't repent, despite how atheists claim nothing Christians speak of is real. They are angry we tell them they will end up in a place they claim is unreal. Their uproar only shows the truth cuts them to the heart! And then there are the Muslims who Shawn reached out to in ministry. The reasons they hate him go without saying. So VenomFangX has enemies who are part of various cults. Like he mentioned, he's removed some of the videos he once had up and I think YouTube removed some of them because of complaints from the various cultists.

I took a look @ his sight yesterday & I also read some of the 500 comments from some very evil people. If I’m not mistaken, some of them actually communicated threats on the web!

Oh yes, the persecution has begun. I pray he continues to contend for the faith and that God’s perfect will be done in this matter. May the Lord continue to watch over and keep him and his family.

I checked out some of his videos, he is just a worrior for the Lord, and he is on the front line. I know the Lord will keep him and all things concerning him. He is not gone, he has much work to do. He will be protect by the mighty hands of God.

Well this has certainly gone outside the bounds of even the laws of man. At this point Shawn has the authorities trying to help him. And those he spoke against are not loosing any sleep over this.

Indeed, the legal persecution of Christians has begun – it is sad that Bro. Shawn has had to have his ministry cut short. May his sorrow witness against those detractors!
