I’ve certainly had to reconsider the matter and agree with our brother.

The hypocrisy of the man just grates me!

He’s out speaking against trashy lyrics and a need to respect people such as Black women. While he played up Ludacris, a trash rapper. Something I’ve mentioned before.

Well now Team Obama has pulled out the old buck knife on Ludacris. For what? For doing what he does, being trashy. You can see the trash lyrics in the article: Ludacris Releases Song Attacking Hillary Clinton

It was A-OK to be down with trashy Ludacris before, but now the trash makes news and suddenly Team Obama is against some lyrics from Ludacris. This is on par with the Jeremiah A. Wright flipping and flopping by Team Obama. They love these trashy people up until it makes news, then suddenly they denounce them. Obama will stab the same people he once called friends in the back the moment it’s mentioned in the media. This shows Obama’s doing whatever looks good, he’s not showing true leadership qualities. He’s not showing he has any form of moral compass, he just does whatever LOOKS GOOD.

That’s Barack Hussein Obama, Junior - committed Christian .

So if you say a prayer at a wall, that is idolized as having the Spirit of God, acknowledged as such by people who deny the Lordship of Jesus Christ, who is this “Lord” being prayed to? They deny the Lordship of Jesus Christ, so it can’t be a prayer to God the Father through Christ Jesus. Which leaves it at a state of being a prayer by someone still in need of repentance. I’m just finding it interesting, how politicians claim to be such “Christians” and many believe everything they do, including things that are apart from the truth. Which proves the politicians themselves and their fans that are pleased with their actions really don’t have good knowledge of the truth.

We know God does NOT reside in any stones or wall.

God Father has appointed that His Son will judge, this means Jesus is the Son of God and God flesh, risen and sitting at the Father’s Right Hand, John 5:22, Colossians 2:9, Acts 2:33 and Hebrews 1. A “committed Christian” has no business engaging in the acts of people who so greatly deny the Lordship of Jesus as the Christ, that even after the fulfillment of His words as noted in Matthew 24:1-2, they’re still going to an old wall and forsaking HIM. They seek God through a wall, not Jesus. But this only proves on top of so many other things, that these politicians are not the “committed Christian” they claim to be and you can reference the “related posts” links below for more evidence regarding Obama.

But it has been big news, that Obama visited what has become a sort of stone idol in Jerusalem, the Western Wall. Known as the “Wailing” Wall, because deniers of Christ go their to pray to God, rather than going to Jesus Christ. So Obama went there, really in the name of Jewish votes and support and placed a well crafted “prayer” in the wall on a piece of paper. As is done by deniers of Christ seeking an answer through the “Wall”. The piece of paper Obama inserted into the wall was stolen just after he left the Western Wall.

Here’s proof the wall is actually an idol used as a form of intercessor to God, forsaking Jesus as the only intercessor between God and man.

They are still ignoring that Jesus is the way, still living as under Law apart from Grace. We all need to continue to pray, that they come to know salvation. They are using a “Wall” as their hope, rather than Jesus. Christians should be telling anyone seeking God through a wall (or anything other than Jesus), that God can only be reached through His Son.

Below are 2 videos, the first is by an Obama fan. Who lauds how Obama went to say a prayer at the Western Wall. The 2nd is a video of the paper with the prayer being stolen.

Now Obama’s prayer probably was crafted and probably reads like many other prayers at that wall. But when one seeks God through a “Wall” rather than acknowledging that JESUS IS LORD, one is left with nothing more than a piece of paper in a stone. I don’t think anyone should have stolen the piece of paper, but we need to pray for them all to find true salvation, Obama, others praying at the Western Wall and the thieves as well.

So if you ever get to take a trip to Israel, see if perhaps you can help the Christians there sharing the message of Christ.

Richard Abanes is a Rick Warren front man, who gets ticked whenever anybody calls him out for it. He especially does not like when anybody warns saints of what he’s doing. Richard Abanes has again proven he’s not a man who respects the Word of God. Instead of respecting 1 Corinthians 6 and not going legal on a matter of theology, he’s gone using legal methods in crying “slander”, to have a Christian’s web site taken offline. How is a real Christian to respond to being mocked?

I’ve always found Apprising.org to be a site that stood for the truth of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. And Richard Abanes’ actions only further prove the site to be good, but never will I purchase any of Richard Abanes’ material.

update 7/28/2008 4:33PM: Apprising.org is back online, well not the domain name yet. But Pastor Ken Silva already has his blog back online at this IP address. I’m sure the domain name is in the process of being switched, which may take up to a day or 2.

The last post Pastor Ken has up is titled RICHARD ABANES TO SUE APPRISING MINISTRIES OVER DEFAMATION-LIBEL?. He notes 1 Corinthians 6:1-6. I think he should have also included verses 7 through 12.

Those additional verses are very pertinent, because Richard Abanes is the one who wrongs and defrauds in using legal action against a Christian. Not allowing himself to be criticized by a Christian. Not able to digest verse 7, that even if Pastor Ken had wronged and defrauded him, employing Matthew 18:15-17 was the appropriate course of action, not legal threats. He could not simply allow himself to feel as if he was wronged and leave it be, saying he was wronged and leave it there. No, Richard Abanes makes sure his lawyer’s phone number is near by and starts making legal threats when he is wronged.

Notice what is PARAMOUNT to Richard Abanes, his public reputation, so he can keep convincing people to BUY HIS BOOKS. Now I ask you, does Richard Abanes write books to promote the gospel, or to peddle in the Lord’s name?

It is apparent to me, that Richard Abanes is about peddling in the Lord’s Name. His reputation is what he really cares about, for his own belly!

Here are some scriptures, that Richard Abanes and anyone claiming to be a Christian needs to think about long and hard.

If we Christians are living for the sake of reputation, for money, for career, to the point we’d spark legal challenges against brethren. Are we who do so really acting like the example given to us? Are we who do such acting like Christians? How many of the many who spoke against Paul did he sue? As I’ve show in other scripture above, Christ was mocked without reviling in return. So is a Christian acting like Him, to go to court against a “brother”, or to even suggest it may be done? Certainly not! These things cause hindrances and are ungodly actions. So we can only pray, that if Richard Abanes really is a child of God and that if we are the Lord’s, that God will reveal Richard Abanes’ error to him and that God may reveal to us when we have a different attitude from what is sound instruction.

Richard Abanes is a man who I find is best avoided. Any man who defends a false teacher and carries on in this manner which is ungodly activity, is not a man I feel comfortable around at all. I’ve given him the warning of Luke 6:39-40 and if the Lord wills, one day he will turn from this evil he’s doing. So many saints have warned Abanes, but he will not relent. It’s sad to see a man call himself a “Christian” yet act so ungodly. I will have nothing to do with the man and warn saints he is best avoided. Keep the wicked man away from you, 1 Corinthians 5.

In some cases, a cult can spawn other smaller groups. Such is the case with the cult of Muhammad (Islam, big cult), which was leveraged to develop the doctrine of the race cult known as the Nation of Islam (a smaller cult, but just as much a cult).

In addition to what was presented in the videos, I’d like to add:

• When Muhammad Ali first became a “Muslim”, he was part of the Nation of Islam. He was recruited by Malcolm X (aka El Hajj Malik El Shabazz) personally. Eventually Muhammad Ali parted ways with the Nation of Islam, but is still a Muslim today.
• Regarding the murder of Malcolm X/El Hajj Malik El Shabazz, Louis Farrakhan (a more fitting name for him is Farra-the-Con) admits he had a role in it.
• Martin Luther King, Junior did have some meetings with Nation of Islam figures, but they never came to any agreements to work together. Never did the Nation of Islam do security for Martin Luther King, Junior, not even at the “March on Washington”. In fact, any Nation of Islam member that attended the 1963 “March on Washington” faced temporary suspension from the group for attending. As this source mentions:

  The men in white hats behind King during his “I Have a Dream Speech” were not Muslims. They were Union people, who wore white hats, to be identifiable as Marshals at the event. As this source notes:

Union people wore white hats to signal their status as Marshals.   Despite any differences I have with King, I feel it’s important to have the historical record straight. Because many people have wrongly made strong ties between King and the NOI, when they really were not in agreement and not working together, although they had some meetings. Also the NOI has attempted to mimic King.

• I say Wallace Fard Muhammad aka W.D. Fard aka David Ford-el aka Wali Farad aka Farrad Mohammed aka F. Mohammed Ali, was a White man. You can read plenty about that at this link. And see the pictures. He was a White man. A Black race cult, that sees a White man as their god.

Any man who thinks he moves God is serving a false god.

If God Himself is not at work, there is no gift. If God Himself is not at work, there is no faith. If it’s not God moving, it’s not God. Man does not and cannot will a move of God of man’s own accord. So if man is moving and God is not moving, it’s not God.

It is evident, from totally rotten fruit he bears, that Todd Bentley is a self glorifying heretic, in desperate need of repentance.

One TV show I like to watch is the program “Locked up Abroad” on the National Geographic Channel. It usually involves some unsaved person, who thinks they can get away with some crime overseas, getting caught and learning they were way better off than they thought they were before they made a bad decision for some quick cash. And usually you can see as they lead up to committing the crime, how the person even in common grace was getting plenty of hints they should not commit the crime, but they do it anyway. Often it ends sadly, because usually the person profiled gets out of prison eventually, so they feel that all is well, but they usually never come to know saving grace, they never come to know Jesus as Lord. So for me it’s a sad ending, to see many endure such and still not knowing they need a savior for more than their body. The Lord’s will be done, who He grants repentance to is of His perfect will. Still I like watching the show, because I find it has plenty of educational value about criminal justice around the world. But I just watched an episode the other day, that involved some Christian missionaries, that were “Locked up Abroad”.

Here’s the program’s description of their story and it is supposed to air again on August 2nd at 9PM.

What is not mentioned in that description, is that although Martin and Gracia were not initially kidnapped because of their faith, their captors kept them so long because of their faith and nationality. Their being both Christian and American was like the worst thing one could be to the Abu Sayyaf and also a reason for the Abu Sayyaf to just keep them around holding out for a greater ransom. Because you know Christian missionaries don’t work for anybody that has money to pay a ransom quick, so the Abu Sayyaf just held on to them waiting for somebody to pay just because they had some Christian White Americans on their hands. Martin and Gracia were with the captors before, on and after 9/11/2001. So they got to see what the Abu Sayyaf, who are also known as the “sons of Osama bin Laden”, were doing up close. They learned who Osama bin Laden was some months before most Americans knew his name well.

Well in all this, they held fast to the Lord Jesus. And that’s the real victory of it all. Martin didn’t survive (in the physical sense), but of course he’s doing even better at home with the Lord, 2 Corinthians 5:8. While his wife Gracia was rescued by the area military and now runs The Martin & Gracia Burnham Foundation. You can see the various focus areas of the foundation here. Basically the foundation works to share the message of Christ and help persecuted saints.

I just think it was a powerful story and a wonderful testimony of 2 people who kept faith in Christ in the face of persecution.

If you get the opportunity, I think theirs is a story worth watching.
