Our brother on YouTube bezel333 explains this one well.
Keep that ending quote in mind. Because it is very much true and very much applicable to way more than this TBN mess.
2 Corinthians 2:17 (New American Standard Bible)

The peddlers will use whatever will get your money and they always know how to reflect modern trends. They might look cool, but inside they are ravenous wolves.
And I know I’m going to tick off a whole bunch of you when I say this, but I only say it out of love. This here looks way too much like this here. And perhaps the message of the video above will help make that clear.

Thanks for the post; great video. It’s painfully apparent that this is nothing more than shameless merchandising of our Lord, who so selflessly sacrificed His life for all that would believe on Him.
I find TBN’s placing this “park” in Orlando to be very strategic. Orlando is also home to Disney World and Universal Studios, where The Holy Land Experience can be looked at as “established” competition.
This brings to mind 2 Peter 2:3a where Paul and Jan Crouch, along with others associated with them, have made merchanside of those that have sent money to create the park, and more for those looking to visit. Those most foolish in going will be those looking to build a vacation around visiting this monstrosity.
Man, what a good, localized hurricane would do to wipe that off the map.

I am not sure I would even encourage anyone to go there to see the van kampen collection because the money you have to spend to get in supports TBN. 2 John 9-11

Exactly. Once the entrance money has been paid, it’s already going to the same place, as if you going to see the crucifixion exhibit.

I agree Stan.

I can’t help but to shake my head at that video - and to fell better about a decision I made a few weeks ago. My wife and I are in the final stages of preparing our schedule for our annual trip to Orlando - and my wife asked if we should visit “The Holy Land Experience”.
After I laughed and said “certainly not”, I explained that this place is a 2-bit amusement park that makes the Gospel a joke - and it’s backed by TBN (although I thought TBN built the place from the ground-up vs. buying it a few years ago).
Any way - thanks for flipping the light on these folks. I love bezel333’s videos!

I’m sure Jesus would turn the tables over in this ridiculous false representation Of Christs earthly Ministry, and what Credibility does Kim Clement have,If He is such a Prophet How did He miss 9-11.I need no prophet especially Kim Clement, God Has given us His Word ,the Bible.

I had to do a double-take on those concert flyers. Rom 1:16 is like my theme scripture from the bible. I thought the 1st flyer was the secular one until I did the double take and actually “caught” the Rom 1:16 (call me slow) flashing and put 2 and 2 together. Unbelievable. Why do we try to win the “world” with “worldly influence?” The pure gospel of Jesus Christ, which is the Good News stands all by itself. Hip Hop Christianity, what an oxymoron!
IndependentConservative reply on June 23rd, 2008 at 11:49 pm :
Well it took me more than 2 looks before I noticed the scripture reference and I knew which claims to be “Christian”.
Did you notice the first flier is full of blood stain graphics, while the 2nd is not? Now I’m sure they’d say those are supposed to represent the blood of Christ, but one has to wonder:
1 - What sense is there in having blood graphics in the first place?
2 - No unbeliever will think the blood stains represent anything regarding Christ, but in typical Hip Hop fashion will take it as blood from gun shots. And that’s assuming the blood graphics are there to represent the blood of Christ.
3 - The “Christian” “concert” flyer has more more blood than the secular one. The secular flyer is blood free.
Sadly, a lot of young folks while desiring to live for Christ are taking on an image that looks JUST LIKE the world.

Yeah I did IC. The only IMAGE we are SUPPOSED to be conforming to is CHRIST JESUS…PERIOD!
Woe to them that call evil good and good evil, that put darkness for light and light for darkness, that put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!
Woe to them that are wise in their own eyes and prudent in their own sight! Isa 5:20-21
I’m also inclined to throw in vs 14-16, “therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure and their glory, and their multitude and their pomp and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.
And the mean man shall be brought down, and the mighty man shall be humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled: But the Lord of Hosts shall be exalted in judgment and the God that is HOLY shall be sanctified in RIGHTEOUSNESS!”

I just drove past that place a few weeks ago. My parents went there when the Messianic Jew owned the place and said it was interesting. I really never had the desire to go. But, now that I know TBN took over the place, I will drive by it faster then usual.
Hey, Todd Bentley is just down I-4 in Lakeland. Maybe, he can move his dog and pony show to this park. It would fit right in.
IndependentConservative reply on June 24th, 2008 at 12:57 pm :
You can say that again!
stan reply on June 24th, 2008 at 2:54 pm :
Probably a bad idea, people will go see Todd’s show rather than the crucifixion of Jesus show.
