I was vigorously defending George W. Bush and the Republican Party. Whatever happened to Ralph From Ben Hill? Did he survive the stroke?

As IC stated self-destructive behavior stems from the fallen nature of man and is inherent in all ethnic groups. I think it is exaggerated in black people because society on the whole expects so little of us. Within the black community bad behavior is excused or even encouraged. This epidemic of low moral standards and poor decision making used to be isolated within a subculture of the black community. Now with the advent of mass media (music and entertainment channels) those values and that negative image goes around the world at the speed of light. It has infected some of the most remote areas of the world. Jamaicans used to value hard work, education and religion just like American blacks did. Now we worship our skin color (which is defined by politics) above all else.

When I was a kid my parents taught me that welfare and food stamps were an embarrassment to the family. Home ownership and an education are escapes from poverty. That mentality is gone. Jamaicans who come to the US now are more concerned with racism and supporting Socialism more than anything else.

That’s been my first hand observation.

I first encountered Uncle Tom Bill years ago on a message board and he was just nailing people left and right. He couldn’t care less about what people thought of him he was totally relentless. He has the widsom of years and would laugh at black youngsters who would cry about racism when he seen and lived through historic levels of bigotry and hate. And he hasn’t changed one bit…good for him.

I remember one of his topics was when he compared black men to wolves and black males to domesticated dogs. He said when we were wolves we were on our own and took care of our offspring and did whatever it took to provide food and shelter for the family. You reproduced only what you were able to feed.

But since the 1970’s we black men have become like domesticated dogs. Unable to provide for ourselves, mate whenever we want and leave the offspring to the female to take care of.

Overall it was a very interesting observation but that’s what UTB does so well.

Now sir, you ARE NOT speaking of the same Uncle Tom Bill that is originally from south Georgia that used to be a regular caller on WAOK Radio in Atlanta a few years back? If so, then wow, because that fellow was extremely old back then, so it is a blessing that he is even still alive, let alone still active in getting and disseminating stuff like this!

Yes I am talking about the very one and the same man. A very good friend of mine, that I talk with online several times a week if not daily.

Yes the Lord has blessed him with years and when it comes to computers I ask him questions although I’m the guy with 2 degrees in Computer Science!

I met him back when there was a show on WAOK-AM that had an online message board. I don’t know if I heard of him first via the message board or on the radio program, but either way I must say our meeting has proven a good thing.

Although bloggers like La Shawn Barber caught my interests in blogging, it was Uncle Tom Bill who actually said to me:

You need to start a blog.

And said it several times till I did it.

And I regularly use his line “Farra-the-Con” to describe false prophet Louis Farrakhan. A few names in radio use phrases they got from him calling their shows. (Although some fail to ever give him proper attribution.)

Yep, I hate to sound racist, but where in America black folks tend to do the street crime/welfare/illegitimacy thing, it is “the other side” that commits crimes on a mass, global scale with things like weapons of mass destruction, environmental pollution, manipulation of trade and financial markets, etc. I hate to sound like I am regurgitating the James Cone – Jeremiah Wright – Leonard Jeffries nonsense that I picked up in my fake wannabe radical days, but it is still true!
