Two good videos from our brother on YouTube bezel333.
Joel has mastered a fairly interesting antichrist technique. He knows that he never has to do the “money preaching” of someone like Creflo or the folks on TBN and other so-called Christian outlets always acting a fool for your money. Joel knows, all he has to do is say what makes you feel good and you’ll throw your money at him without his asking explicitly once himself. You’ll buy his stuff, you’ll repeat his sayings, so long as he makes you feel good about yourself. And because many Americans call themselves Christians, he tosses a claim about Jesus on the end, to make it all look legit! He’s not preaching about Jesus at all, he’s preaching about WHAT YOUR FLESH WANTS, what YOUR FLESH wants to hear.
The Word of God says of true believers:
Romans 7:14-25 (New American Standard Bible)

Sure, the flesh loves every word Osteen is saying, but it’s not the Word of God. As the same apostle told the saints in Galatia, we are to WALK BY THE SPIRIT IN JESUS CHRIST NOT THE FLESH, Galatians 5. If you want all the money those old covenant figures such as King David had, than you live by the Law and will be condemned by it. If you want to live for Christ and as the Apostles did under the new covenant of Grace, it’s not about your being rich in this life, but living for Christ in denial of selfish desires, 1 Timothy 6 and Matthew 16:24-26.

Brother, you are on a roll today!
You’re right - Osteen gathers 40,000+ people into his arena each week to motivate them with platitudes about how they can follow his 7 steps and 7 more steps to become a “better you”. What Joel is really doing is helping people to become a better sinner obsessed with their flesh and “feelings” instead of pointing them back to the Cross of Christ.
It’s funny (not “ha ha”, but telling”) - Joel will pump up the crowd with a great live band, have sweeping camera angles throughout the arena, and present a stage production that’s choreagraphed to within an inch of it’s life

…and then offer a 20 second appeal to salvation?
Yup, that sounds about right…
And we wonder why all of these “saved” people are participating in all manner of evil - maybe they aren’t “saved” at all
