Paul didn’t take money from the jailer who asked how to be saved.
Steve Munsey said some words that are in Luke 12:34, but Munsey neglected to mention the full context of Luke 12. Jesus was giving instructions to His disciples, that’s in verses 22-34. He told them to sell everything and give it to the poor, for a Heavenly reward. Since Munsey wants to toss around Luke 12:34, has he sold all and given it to the poor? Of course not! He would be on TV doing the exact opposite of what he did. He’d be asking people to call, so he could give to them, instead of the other way around.
If you are reading this and thinking Steve Munsey is true, you should read your Bible more, see what I have cited above and stop thinking you can purchase a move of God.

Exactly! Never give money to a man who wears a dead feline on his head. If he can’t be honest about the fact that he has no hair, he certainly won’t be honest about much else. All that pimpin he does and he doesn’t even have the decency to invest in a believable toupee - if he just HAS to wear one.

I think if you log it, God has apparently spoken to the Munseys, Whites, Hinns, Cerullos and the rest of the TBN crowd more often than to all the prophets of the Bible collectively. And, oddly enough, they’re messages from Him on how to get more and more money out of His own people into the hands of these deliriously wealthy ministers. But, who am I to argue with God’s new economy?
He’s doing a New Thing, isn’t He?

What amazes me is China allows TBN to be broadcast over there. Just shows that the TBN crowd are preaching a gospel other than Christ. If they were real Christians, the Chi-Coms would not allow the TRUTH to be broadcast.

I agree that the true gospel is too unpopular for all nations, just as the Word states. It is hard to believe though, that China would allow their citizens to be financially raped by these predators. The Chinese government knows that the “tithes and offerings” are going to leave the China economy to go back to America, where these wolves’ dens are.

Are you sure they are allowed to petition for money on their network in China?
I know some material I saw for some of their networks in Muslim areas prevented them from collecting money for some period of time.

Well, that would be good if they didn’t allow it. I figured if they were broadcasting in China, they’d get the whole spiel - solicitation and all. If not, at least that part’s good. Too bad America allows them to do it, though.

You are so right. I have said the same thing before here as well as other blogs. Paul Crouch had the nerve to say Jesus was a communist just to get in to the Chinese market. Real Chinese Christians are getting killed and enslaved for the sake of the gospel.
