I am not surprised. If you look at Jakes, he has become a franchise ("ministry," TV appearances, movies, Mega Mess, books, speaking engagements). His receiving a TV show, produced by Jay McGraw, is only yet another component in this franchise. As a matter of fact, if you take a look at his current broadcasts, you will notice at the bottom, right side of the TV screen that Jakes has a full-body silhouette of himself with his name attached as an emblem.
