In a 4-3 ruling, California’s Supreme Court has done away with that state’s ban on homosexual so-called “marriage”. Basically the court by way of judicial fiat, NOT A VOTE and NOT A LEGISLATIVE ACT is forcing abomination to be formalized in that state. Calling the ban a form of discrimination and against “human rights”.
Not long now and no church in CA will be able to read the following during their presentation of an Old Testament and New Testament Bible verse on Sunday mornings.
Old Testament:

22 ‘You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination.

The Lord Jesus affirmed that marriage is the joining of one man and one woman, all else is NOT marriage.

Now, all the scripture I’ve cited is for people whose hearts have been turned towards God. Those cheering in CA have not been turned towards God. Do not cheer with them. Abomination and the supporters of it will not have a part in the kingdom of God.

Yes, I saw this online this morning. I’m disgusted and saddened over my “former” state. Total disregard for what the voters chose.

You know I was watching Sponge Bob with my 4 yr old daughter and it was an episode with Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy…long story short, Mermaid Mans shirt heroic costume came off and he had on a seashell bra
with pink houseslippers. I couldn’t believe it. It was so subliminal yet anyone that know the “gay theme” behind Sponge Bob could clearly see it. I had to turn it off at that point. My daughter loves that show, but that was the icing on the cake.
This homosexual agenda has gotten more than a foot in the door. It’s taken over tv, radio, cinema and everything else. We as true Christians better wake up and see that “our” freedom of speech and everything else is slowly being taken away. Watch and pray indeed!

godlysoldier - If you watch Sponge Bob with your kids enough, you’ll notice they make a habit of pulling Sponge Bob’s pants off.
There’s “Mermaid Man”, mixing the feminine “Mermaid” with “Man” and yes they put him in women’s clothing.
Lots of other things happen in that show that are totally perverted suggestions.
Most Christian parents eventually figure it out in time.

The Sponge Bob analogy puts to mind a recent, real live case out of Germany where a 12 year old boy “felt” he was really a girl trapped in a boy’s body. As a result, the parents were dumb enough to permit this child to undergo a sex change, making him the youngest person ever to receive such a change, and guessed who paid for it….THE TAXPAYERS!!!!! Very disgusting!

MissMagnificent - Actually Sponge Bob does have a female interest who is shown on the show very frequently, a squirrel named Sandy. That Sponge Bob does literally anything to impress. The homosexual inferences are very much regarding Mermaid man and his side-kick he lives with.

I realise that human being are nasty, sinful and wicked. Filled with nothing but the lust of the flesh and the pride of life. Had it not been for God’s grace and mercy we would all be lost. Brothers and sisters, we have to keep checking ourselves and repenting daily before the Lord. I assure you, you have not seen anything yet, worse things are going to be sanctioned.

I know this is just a coincedence, but it makes you think. I noticed in the paper the other day that the tablets used in the movie ‘The Ten Commandments’ is being auctioned off then yesterday afternoon I saw people cheering their own destruction as the court of california brought this judgement out. God help us. Amazing how we went, in one generation, from sodomy being listed as a mental illness to it being a right and being equated to the civil rights movement. And to have ‘ministers’ aggree to it.

IC: The link has it’s facts straight. 6 of the 7 are Republican appointees….However, the link was incorrect on one thing. Ronald Reagan never nominated any of these seven. The Chief Justice was nominated by Pete Wilson (never was a conservative republican. He has always been pro gay and pro abortion as were two others.) Wilson nominated 3 in total. 2 were nominated by George Deukmejian (he was a liberal Republican as well). Democrat Gray Davis appointed one and liberal Republican Arnold “Kennedy” Schwartenager (sp) appointed one. That is 7 appointments by 7 LIBERALS.
The Republican party in Cali has always leaned toward the left. Other than conservative Orange County (were Nixon and Reagan lived) and conservative San Diego, the rest of the state is full of LIBERALS….Liberal socialists, liberal marxists, liberal republicans, liberal independents and liberal democrats. The entire state went to hell in a hand basket before we were even born.

Actually it is you who are incorrect. You’re thinking of “nominated” in terms of the CA State Supreme Court exclusively. Ronald George is a Republican, who was nominated to the municipal bench by Ronald Reagan in 1972.
The fact your party has people who are Liberals claiming membership proves how your party will do anything to advance their own name recognition. If your party was “Conservative” it would have some standards and not permit membership to people who are Liberals. If the GOP were “Conservative”, some CA Supreme Court justices would have already received notice they were booted from party membership.

McCain didn’t ask for his party to have standards and seek to remove any justice in the majority of the decision that claims membership to your political party.
All the “statements” are nothing more than empty words.
John McCain is founding member of the Gang of 14 who PREVENTED Conservative justices from being nominated by President Bush. So McCain is sure to be on par with Obama when it comes to judicial nominations.
