Arnold Schwarzenegger Straddles the Fence on the Truth of Marriage. Fronts for John McCain.

Report: Arnold against gay marriage ban

SAN DIEGO, April 11 (UPI) — California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger Friday said he would oppose a state ballot initiative to ban same-sex marriage, The Sacramento Bee reported.

Schwarzenegger, speaking to a gathering of gay Republicans in San Diego, called the initiative to amend the California constitution “a total waste of time,” the newspaper said, citing an audio recording of the governor’s remarks.

Schwarzenegger has previously vetoed two bills passed by the California Assembly to allow same-sex marriage. He told a meeting of Log Cabin Republicans Friday he expected California voters to reject the ballot initiative “because I think that California people are much further along on that issue.”

Schwarzenegger said he would “always be there to fight against that because it will never happen.”

“I think we need a constitutional amendment so that foreign-born citizens can run for president, but not about gay marriage,” he said.

So much for him being a man of the “people”. If the people are against homosexuals acting like they are “married” Arnold will not stand with the people.

Once upon a time a state would not be allowed into the Union if they did not respect one man and one woman marriage, which was the case with Utah being admitted. Now when the people of a state seek to codify one man and one woman, we see the governor crying about how he wants to be President, rather than upholding what marriage really is.

As I always say with any post about Schwarzenegger, Tom McClintock was the better choice in that race.

Arnold supports legalized murder of babies in the womb, supports babies being used as guinea pigs in “embryonic stem cell research” and has catered to the homosexual political lobby. Just how much damage does the “Terminator” have to do before the so-called “Conservative Republicans” refuse to associate with him? US Presidential candidate John McCain is proving he is not really as Conservative as some try to claim he is now.

McCain’s Log Cabin Surrogate: Schwarzenegger

Though John McCain won’t attend this weekend’s “national conversation” convention of Log Cabin Republicans in San Diego, he has asked Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, a gay rights supporter, to be his surrogate.

“We were scheduled to speak at the convention and were asked by McCain campaign to speak on their behalf since they can’t attend, and we said no problem,” a senior aide to Schwarzenegger said last night. “So Governor Schwarzenegger will talk about the future of the Republican Party and will also talk about McCain.”

And, in a further sign that McCain does not consider gay Republicans to be an expendable part of the Republican coalition, he plans to meet soon with executives of the Log Cabin Republicans, people with knowledge of the meetings said.

Some Schwarzenegger voters feel betrayed and I suspect McCain voters will have that same feeling if he wins. Because just like Schwarzenegger, McCain plays both sides.

John McCain on whether homosexuality is a ’sin’

John McCain claims to be a Christian, but shows no conviction on the issue of homosexuality. How long to you think someone with no true conviction on the issue as a sin will maintain a stance against an abomination? I think, a man with no conviction on the issue is a man whose stance will change with the wind. For Christians this issue has always been clear, from Leviticus 18 to 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, homosexuality is an abominable SIN.

  1. WALLY Says:

We all know from scriptures “love is the greatest” and American Christianity, no matter what denomination or group, doesn’t have it. So to expect any Presidential Candidate be it Obama, Clinton or McCain or any politician such as Schwarzenegger to espouse “Christian values” and be a man of God or a man of faith is totally unrealistic especially when most Christian leaders themselves are off the wall as shown by your many exposes!
Without being self – righteous, we are living in a time of Apostasy similar to when Elijah fought with King Ahab and the false prophets of Baal. Most of Israel at that time had turned from God and He said “”Yet I have reserved seven thousand in Israel, all whose knees have not bowed to Baal” 1 Kings 19:18”
Only God can turn things around and no other! Until then we have to live with frail foolish men whoever they might be and pray that the right person will become President and live with it!

Wally, who God will allow into power for fulfillment of what we were told will come is who will assume power and continue the world’s path towards those without Christ praising the beast and taking his mark. We won’t have to live with it long if things go quickly, because we will be killed for not taking the mark. All the candidates have ties to globalists and represent the Council on Foreign Relations agenda.

Whoever wins will only be “right” in terms of them being the one to bring further fulfillment of scripture, which will include increased persecution of Christians. Come swiftly Lord Jesus!
