Sound Doctrine Versus Mark Chironna

by @ 1:20 am. Filed under Nuts on Parade

Our brother on YouTube bezel333 ran across heretic Mark Chironna on TV for the first time recently. Well let’s just say Chironna’s deception and false gospel didn’t work on our brother in Christ.

The biblical salad talk of Mark Chironna

I’m glad to see brothers in Christ sounding the alarm about that false teacher.

    Excellent teaching…thanks much!

Excellent post – I point readers of my blog to the video as well (thanks for pointing me to bezel333).

Chironna has been stalking the pulpit for quite some time now. He visited Club New Birth a few times in the late 90’s (I’m not sure if you remember IC) but he was completely embraced by Eddie and company as a voice declaring “the truth” in Florida.

This is an excellent analysis of the dangerous practice of making “believers” think that God can be commanded to move to and fro. And for good measure, he also throws in the tried and true line “for a gift of $xx.xx God will…” ;-)

Again, reducing our Soveriegn Lord to a cosmic slot machine.

May God have mercy on us…

I never saw Mark Chironna when I was there. Thank God through our Lord Jesus I did not.

I took my time to listen to both Chironna and you and did not find Chironna wanting i all he said. I guess his preching is “meat” and not “milk”. All he preached confirmed what the spirit of God taught me when God called me out of the congregation for higher experience with Him. “let God loose” as Chironna said, means “do not lIMIT God with negative confessions”. God had taught me to always speak positive words in all situations, alas, I heeded that instruction and I am better today for it. It brings you much closer to Him and sharpens your faith in God as God Himself performs miraculous things through faith based (positive) words. I am talking from experience. Iron sharpeneth iron. Your criticism shows me my state when I was a baby xtian; I have grown now and understood Chironna very well. Please, always seek to know the mind of God on every issue b4 criticizing, esp thru this medium. I do not know Chironna but I identify with his preaching bcos I have lived out that preaching and it brought me closer to God. It does not cost you anything to try out what Chironna preached first and then judge if it failed you. Shalom

Nkechi – God’s Spirit and His Word remain in agreement. The words of Mark Chironna fail to meet the standard of scripture.

That says something about both Chironna and you and it’s not at all positive.

The brother offering commentary of Chironna’s false teaching is upholding the standard of scripture. While you uphold a standard of whatever feels good for you this moment.

Nkechi, what both you and Chironna promote is the same false gospel spoken by Oprah Winfrey and promoters of “The Secret”.

There is only ONE who speaks things into existence that are not, God alone.

Romans 4:16-17 (New American Standard Bible)

16 For this reason it is by faith, in order that it may be in accordance with grace, so that the promise will be guaranteed to all the descendants, not only to those who are of the Law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all,

17 (as it is written, “A FATHER OF MANY NATIONS HAVE I MADE YOU”) in the presence of Him whom he believed, even God, who gives life to the dead and calls into being that which does not exist.

God gives life to the dead and calls things into being that don’t exist, He has NOT granted such ability to you. You don’t raise the dead and you can’t even call a drop of water into existence from nothingness.

You don’t own God, so you are unable to “turn him loose”. Lord willing, one day you will learn you are not in control and submit to God.

You’ve become dependent on a false teacher named Mark Chironna. Giving him your money for his bogus trinkets.

2 Corinthians 2:17 (New American Standard Bible)

17 For we are not like many, peddling the word of God, but as from sincerity, but as from God, we speak in Christ in the sight of God.

Notice the apostles of the Lord Jesus didn’t run around selling junk.

When there was famine in Jeruselem, the Apostles did not go around “calling down the demon of poverty, to tear down its stronghold”. No they didn’t go running after some claimed demon of poverty for an “increase”. They never spoke at all about a “demon of poverty”.

You see Nkechi, you’ve fallen out of agreement with scripture. That means you are out of agreement with God. Now walking after a false god of your own fleshly mind, to satisfy your own lusts.

You want others to “just try it”, well Adam and Eve tried the forbidden fruit and it didn’t work out, so no need to repeat failure. Although some of us myself included once walked in that Word of Faith heresy and praise God through Jesus Christ for calling me out of it. It feels good to you now, but it’s not of God and will only bring destruction when God tosses the heresies of people like Chironna into the lake of fire. Unless you desire to join those heresies in the pit, you’ll repent, Luke 6:39.

Its very shocking to see and read all this hatred, family if we are all in the body of Christ, that main focus should be LOVE..if you truly “think” Bishop Mark Chironna is a deciever or false prophet, then pray for him, or even better ask the Holy Spirit to reveal truth. I have been blessed for many yrs to hear and recieve the word of the Lord through that man of GOD..and I have been richly blessed in every way possible..Bishop reminds us of what the word says, and its our job to read the word with an open heart and either you believe it or not. I read a comment from one of our brother here that feels GOD has not given us the ability or power to call things that are not as though they were..please allow the Holy Ghost to reveal who you truly are in Christ, not our fleshly powers, but having the revelation that “greater is HE that is in you”
We have power not by our own might..but through the blood of Christ and His precious HOly Ghost..we are called to war with darkness, not to become victims that just believes in some higher power. Unfortantly there are evil ppl in this world, even walking with Christ, my god, I’ve done my share and continue to thank GOD for his Grace, but it truly keeps me humble to know that each and every min. of the day I need HIM!
Let us remember don’t judge, lest you be judged! Walk in love, if your not blessing GOD with the words out of your mouth, your not his vessel.

jproverbs31 – You have invalidated everything you’ve said in your statement:

Let us remember don’t judge, lest you be judged!

You have assumed a posture, that what has been said to expose Mark Chironna as the fraud that he really is was an act of judgement. And you in your own judgement have come to stand in his defense. So you’ve asserted no judgement be made when you’ve done the same and stand with him in your own judgement of his fruit, plus your judgement to speak against anyone exposing that viper.

Such a hypocritical action on your part invalidates your position.

No we don’t call things into existence that don’t exists, only God does, as I’ve already explained.

And before you try that other tired line, go read this please: “Touch Not My Anointed”..The command of God or the cries of the misled??

Now this post was made out of love and offered as a means to help you avoid a deceiving false teacher. And the brother in the video took his time to try and help you also. And see the related links above as well. Most of those other posts were written by other brothers trying to help you. But so far, you’ve rejected that help and stand with the false teacher. You should run from Mark Chironna, because your standing with him might catch you on the wrong end of Luke 6:39.

  5. godismyjudge Says:

Unfortunately the video has been removed, no doubt by one of chironnas cronies. I have had the experience to sit through several of chironnas sermons and have to agree that he is misleading his congregation. It is very unfortunate to hear any so called man of God stand on the pulpit and tell people who are weak minded, and too lazy to read the scriptures for themselves, that they will miss the blessings of God if they do not sow their tithes and offerings into the “storehouse” which is really the chironna house. If anyone is familiar with Dr. Russel Kelly and his tithing knowledge and have read his rebuttal to Paul Dejongs teachings at the tithingdebate.com, they will no doubt understand the true intention of the tithe and who it was to be given to. I have personally heard mark chironna make the statement to the church on Sunday morning that he was glad a certain couple had not returned because they had attended services and received healings and blessings but had not given any money. I have also seen through his phony charade of caring and listened to his wife say the prosperity prayer for all things material. It is shameful that they stand and use scripture out of context to convince the sheeple to give ten percent of their hard earned money to this church, when the original tithe was to be given to the servants of the levitical priests to feed them and their families. Under the old covenant, the tithe was given to the levites and the levites then gave one tenth of the tithe to the priests, 1 percent. If more people would stand behind and study the scriptures rather than stand up for false teachers the church may not be in such a poor state today. Matt 7:22-23 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’ The bible says that all scripture is suitable for correction, teaching and rebuking. Unfortunately it can also be used to deceive. I don’t know if chironna is intentionally misleading people for money, but I hope and pray that he will see that guilting people into tithing is not Gods way. Jesus never demanded payment for his healing, forgiveness or death on the cross. He only asks us to believe and have faith in He who sent Him to be slain for our sins.
