Bottom line, I won’t vote for John McCain, Barack Hussein Obama, or Charles Barkley either if I lived in Alabama!
Why don’t those who cry “judge not” about any particular person or group recognize THEY ARE JUDGING TO MAKE THE STATEMENT ABOUT A SPECIFIC PERSON OR GROUP? It’s hypocrisy. The real deal is that some wish to judge what they desire to judge while precluding others from the same privilege. In other words, THEY DON’T WANT ANYONE JUDGING WHAT THEY DON’T WANT TO SEE JUDGED! Unless you agree with them, then they claim you’re not judging, although you’ve taken a side on an issue, their side
. Of course when Charles Barkley JUDGED that he should not be called a “role model”, that was OK
. Now he wants to be chief executive of the state of Alabama. At least since he does not live in Tennessee, I won’t have to worry about voting against him and the prospects of him having such power in my own state.
No doubt about it, many claiming the Lord’s name that are Republicans and/or claiming Conservatism are big time hypocrites. But so is the man who claims others should not judge, while he judged that killing babies (abortion) and abomination of homosexuality should be given special sanction by government.

JUDGMENTALISM!
This and “Intellecutal/Moral Supremacy” are the 2 most pressing foundational elements that are dragging the Black culture “to Hell in a handbasket”. Sadly the liberals like Charles Barkley have the advantage on the debate with respect to the public sentiment. They can promote the notion of being on the side of “individual liberties” and for people to “mind their own business”. This plays well for the average American who does not look at the big picture.
These are the same people, however, who charge the GOVERNMENT with having failed to protect or rescue them when a situation comes where their secular humanism directs them down a path that they know not how to deal with. This includes HIV infections, unintended preganancy, young people who have the ‘I don’t give a what’ attitude. They have the ability to fight for personal freedom from judgement as well as the ability to cry outrage when the government shows that “they don’t care enough” about people to PROTECT THEM from that which they largely brought upon themselves.
I notice that any attempt by more conservative leaning people to DISTANCE themselves from the likes of Charles Barkley and allow them to have control of their own slice of society is seen as ’selfishness’ and non-inclusion by the conservative.
Charles Barkley will never lead a REFORMATION in Black America where we seeking fundamental change work to get anyone who is intersted in receiving the benefit to order themselves accordingly. This is indeed the cost of his liberalism/libertarianism within our community.
The biggest threat to a Charles Barkley is to be LEFT ALONE in a society where his views are the PREVAILING VIEWS. They will destroy each other in short order.

Sorry if this question is off topic IC, but with this pool of candidates, and no such thing as the lesser of two evils, what are we to do? I need some godly wisdom for real, as to who best represents a godly leader…Thanks

It’s not for me to tell you who to vote for. In that voting booth it’s you and the Lord. Whether you go in it and what you do if you enter is up to you and something you must pray about.
I speak for myself when it comes to things like voting. I plan to find someone outside of the “big 2″ that I’ll vote for as far as President goes. But I don’t use the name “Independent Conservative” because of any thoughts of always voting for the sake of a win.
For godly wisdom, that’s not for me to give, only God can.
James 1:5-8 (New American Standard Bible)
I don’t know who God will ordain in government as fulfillment of His plan, but ask God for wisdom and then do as the Lord leads with a clear conscience.
