It’s interesting that Robertson acts all pious, but he seems to ignore scripture passages concerning the doom of false prophets & wolves in sheep’s clothing. Interestingly, we were talking about the story of Elijah vs. the “prophets” of Baal in small group just tonight

You’re right, IC. Robertson is at it again. These celebrity ministers want the world to accept them, so they don’t tell the truth that would divide them from these worldly people. Why didn’t Robertson tell Eisner what Moses said in Deuteronomy 18?

I will raise up a prophet from among their countrymen like you, and I will put My words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him. It shall come about that whoever will not listen to My words which he shall speak in My name, I Myself will require it of him.

This kind of preaching is Eisner’s only hope – a direct statement of his need to repent and put his faith in this Righteous Man, whom God raised up from among the dead to bring us to Himself.

And, his audience and supporters are forced by such double-mindedness from him to make a decision to continue to support him or to quit it. He needs to be called on his duplicity.
