Paula White, New Year, Same Scam! The First Fruits Works Scam.

by @ 10:49 am. Filed under Nuts on Parade

Want to make it all better? Don’t just pray and repent of your sins to Jesus, try buying favor with God for earthly gain via works too. Seek better as in material things, not just better as in the FREE gift of eternal life. That’s the twisted logic you might come away with if you listen to Paula White long enough.

I think the YouTubber who made these videos did a good job of exposing things. They display the truth with scripture in the “part 2” video below.

PAULA WHITE’S ” FIRST FRUITS “SCAM!

Paula White’s First Fruits Scam Part 2

She’s already in the middle of divorce, which God HATES, Malachi 2:16. And that’s not just old covenant, like the games she’s playing. Christ said divorce is not good, it is to turn a YES into a NO, Matthew 5:31-37. The apostles also spoke against divorce, 1 Corinthians 7. Why would anyone send Paula White money? To be like her?

She’s also under investigation by a US Senator and not yet complying with the request for information. So people should give money to a woman who can’t even keep things honorable in the eyes of men, 2 Corinthians 8:21?

The bottom line, is that Paula White is trying to SELL THE GIFTS OF GOD AND THAT IS HIGH HERESY, AS THE APOSTLE PETER WARNED!

Acts 8:20 (New American Standard Bible)

20 But Peter said to him, “May your silver perish with you, because you thought you could obtain the gift of God with money!

As you see from the scripture, it’s not just heresy for the seller, but the buyer also. Give these pimps money when they run these scams and you’re guilty too. I used to do it myself and had to repent of such evil. You can’t buy God and He has no need for your rags.

Isaiah 64:6 (New American Standard Bible)

6 For all of us have become like one who is unclean,
And all our righteous deeds are like a filthy garment;
And all of us wither like a leaf,
And our iniquities, like the wind, take us away.

Consider this:

Psalm 51:17 (New American Standard Bible)

17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit;
A broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise.

What God wants, is for you to realize YOU CAN’T PAY THE BILL FOR FAVOR WITH HIM. You need to repent to the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, He is your ONLY HOPE, John 3.

Godliness is NOT ABOUT MATERIAL GAIN
, it is about seeking the gift of eternal life, heavenly rewards, spiritual gain and having contentment, 1 Timothy 6!

Regarding money, use it to help those (especially fellow saints) in need, not those in greed, Matthew 25:31-46.

update 2/14/2008 11:08AM: A very insightful comment from our brother Stan.

The great success of such false teachers is attributable to the greed in their supporters. God allows their work to go on in order to weed out those who do not love Him with their whole hearts.

Remember that it is those with the itching ears who gather to themselves these teachers. That is what 2 Timothy 4:3 says: For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.

Those of us who were supporters of such people (mea culpa) were, at one time, seeking improper things from God. It is that lust that God caused us to repent of. Once that happened, we fled the stranger’s voice. Now, with clean hearts, we find them repugnant; for they are. For my part, I take my repentance as ongoing evidence of the sanctifying work of the Spirit in my life. For, His main task is to lead us away from our sinful flesh. That is what Romans 8:12-14 shows us about His leading.

Also, James is clear that we have not because we ask not. And, if we still do not receive, we are asking amiss. Having greed as our motive to receive is asking amiss. It is also double-mindedness as James points out in the first chapter about asking for wisdom in faith. He says not to let that man think he shall receive anything of the Lord. Greed causes us to be double-minded. Knowing this “plague of our hearts,” (1 Kings 8:38), greed, we turn to these man-made manipulations in an attempt to secure from God those things that He has denied otherwise. Of course, greed darkens our hearts to the truth that we are mocking Him and that He, being the omniscient God, is not fooled by our “tithing” and “first-fruits giving” or any other bribe or flattery. As long as we seek according to our lusts, He will allow strong delusions to be paraded in front of us through these clever-tongued con-men and women to see if we will go with them.

Jesus told us to watch out and beware of every form of greed (Luke 12:15). We cannot beware of what we do not recognize. God help us all!

Amen brother.

    Isn’t it amazing how the real “intent” of a person’s heart is brought to light concerning following AND coming out of the WOF movement..IC I too had to repent before God for thinking that He was my “personal-guaranteed-spiritual-slot-machine”, all the while under “delusion” that was I was serving Him out of a “pure heart.” My God!

    Sickening-,The people She Preys on Are Unknowlegable in The Word.May God open their eyes to those who will deceive.As for Paula White,Judgement day awaits. ……All to Christ Glory

    I can’t believe that I used to fall for this okey doke mess! Amazing that people still preach this stuff but won’t preach Deuteronomy 13. I’m not advocating stoning anyone, but if you are going to preach then preach what the word says, and stop serving the god of your imagination!

    My dad is sucked into this firstfruits scam. I recently bought a new laptop, and he flipped since I hadn’t payed my “firstfruits” to my pastor – bearing in mind, I’m a Reformed Baptist and my pastor doesn’t teach it. It’s rather sickening the way that they go on, pining for our God-given, hard-earned money
