I loved the music. I never did like Rick Warren. But there will still be people who will follow him. But hold on, it’s only going to get worse. It’s sad to say, but they are just warming up.
Rick is just like Bill Clinton. He will tell the ignorant masses what they want to hear…just so he can personally gain from these ignorant masses.
Satan is not going to try and deceive people by showing them some horror film. He and his demon deceivers are going to make their message look good to the average non-believer. Why would Satan use some scary and horrible tactics when he can get his message across to millions via Rick and the PDL?
The even sadder thing is, in the church, I’m sure there are many true born-again Christians are falling for Rick Warren’s heresies as well. Warren stated that God enjoys watching you be you & you should do what you’re wired to do. Well, just from a logical standpoint, this wouldn’t hold. Let’s say, hypothetically & for the sake of argument, someone is “wired” to commit murder, rape, be a prostitute, be a pedophile, rob people’s homes, to be a homosexual, etc. How would God get pleasure out of watching someone doing such things? Warren certainly isn’t preaching the gospel & his logic is faulty at the very least.
Alrighty then. With that logic, since we are all ‘wired’ to sin then God should take pleasure in our sinning? Since without Jesus that is what we love to do. Jesus died so we could be happy in our sinning? I think that is Rick’s message. Correct me if I’m wrong about his message to the unsaved.
He didn’t mention Jesus and the need for Him at all. Rick Warren was not even trying to have “grace abound”, Romans 6:1-2, which would have been an error. Rick went worse and just said do whatever feels good to you. No Jesus mentioned at all.
