(Edited by Independent Conservative: SteelGator, wholesale copy/pasting is not something I like to promote. If you find a good article, quoting a few of it's points is one thing, but the whole article is another. Also it's good to always post a link to the source. If you feel everyone should read the entire article, just post a link.)

Had a quick second (and I only made 2 that weren't much of an battle to write out quickly). In any case, the Blog in the other thread was going to take significantly longer to write (hence, why I'm not up for writing it out all today/this week).Don't worry about the blog being a distraction, though. School work's coming along fine....

Gxg--G2, you've said you are busy and tied up too much to comment in another thread, but have made several comments in this thread already. I've deleted your last comment that was in the moderation queue for this post.

If you have work to do as you said you do. Don't let this blog become a distraction. Go handle your school work.

Do you actually read in full every link you put in these comments? I mean I’m just wondering.

Yep......have to. Like I told you before, Brah,

Proverbs 18:13
He who answers before listening— that is his folly and his shame.

Proverbs 18:15
The heart of the discerning acquires knowledge; the ears of the wise seek it out.

Proverbs 19:2
It is not good to have zeal without knowledge, nor to be hasty and miss the way.

General principals of wisdom I try dilligently to live by (i.e. getting all the facts before answering, being open to new ideas, and making sure one hears both sides of a story before judging).----which of course is difficult work, but much better than the alternative of Prejudice (premature conclusions)

That, and I not seem to have an unusual boundless energy for it...but it's simply an extreme passsion of mine to research/make sure that in all things I give a fair hearing/see all perspectives since I've literally been in a myriad of camps (i.e. Charismatic verses Reformed--though I'm now Reformed Charismatic, Arminian vs Calvinist, pro-tithe verses anti-tithe, Continuist verses Cessationist, NBC verses UPN, lol lol lol) & learned from those who've done so as well

Gots to get the truth out, Brah, and make sure I'm on point in accuracy/precision.....

Proverbs 11:1
The LORD abhors dishonest scales, but accurate weights are his delight.

2 Timothy 2:15
Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.

IC: Great points and banter. The more I think about it the harder it is to support McCain. I have just been trying to rationalize in my mind what I would have to do if and when it is McCain vs. Hilldabeat.

Many ways McCain is McLame and I woke up today to find McLame is attacking guys like Rush rather than trying take their advise and courting their support.

How has the Republican party gotten so far left is beyond me.

Do you actually read in full every link you put in these comments? I mean I'm just wondering.

With calamities, don't forget Luke 13 brother ;) . What happens to these bodies is not what to ponder over, but the condition of the soul. As I often say, many a corrupt man lives what appears to be a long and healthy life on earth.

I don't think seeking a preferred kind of candidate distracts from our command to pray, but it's always good for us to remind each other to pray. Matter a fact, with the slate of candidates at this point, we should already be praying.

Paul asking saints to pray at a time when Nero was rising up shows that "love your enemy" focus.

Regarding Luke 18, our justice comes from the Lord. Our true and final justice is in His return. We can pray about political matters understanding the Lord's will be done, but really our focus has to be beyond this world. As Paul asked that we pray all come to knowledge of the truth. Pray for God to call as He desires to His Son. Even in praying for kings' tranquility, we are to pray it be in "all godliness and dignity". It is not a prayer for all godliness if we don't pray they come to know His Son. We have to pray that they might be saved and if God desires He'll grant them repentance, so they come to knowledge of the truth.
