Salvation by Grace Through Faith is Not a Work of Yourself, it is the Gift of God.

by @ 3:37 pm. Filed under The Truth Shall Set you Free!

A good video on the subject.

The title of the video is “Its by Grace, not works, mental assent, etc”.

Its by Grace, not works, mental assent, etc

As is written in the Word of God:

Ephesians 2:8-10 (New American Standard Bible)

8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;

9 not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.

10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.

If you follow the Lord Jesus Christ, praise God that grace was granted to you, because it’s nothing you did of yourself.

Regarding those who are not saved, we can only tell them the truth and see if perhaps God might grant them repentance. Again, it’s not us who save, but God who grants repentance to those He calls to His Son.

2 Timothy 2:24-26 (New American Standard Bible)

24 The Lord’s bond-servant must not be quarrelsome, but be kind to all, able to teach, patient when wronged,

25 with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition, if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth,

26 and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, having been held captive by him to do his will.

Praise God we who are saved were born again and are children of God. Praise the Lord and His will be done in all things.

It is such a blessing to reflect on the fact that by His sovereignty, God chose me. When I take time to look at the world and how empty people are, yet have no clue that they are empty, what a wonderful blessing it is each time I realize that it could have been me walking in emptiness. That really humbles me. I bow my heart, mind, body, soul, and spirit to the Most High God for knowing all of my junk and yet handpicking me anyway. Thanks, I.C., for this video. It is a reflection that I ponder often and can do nothing but be awed that He loves little rotton me, so much that He covered my debt knowing the bill that I would run up.

If you want to see someone claiming to be “like Jesus” through mental assent VIA YOGA, check this nut out. And he’s not talking about salvation through Christ as we are, he’s claiming he can be just “like Jesus”.

At times I’ve pondered making a full blog post about him, but he’s so transparent, I would hope there is not need to sound an alarm so loudly in his regard.

OMG- Is he playing with his toes? Sorry.

Anyway, this is what I mean. Lost and confused but convinced that he is not. What a tragedy! And to read enough of the Word of God to convince himself that he is in line, yet miss the truth of it all is just heartbreaking. It is the perfect example of the fact the without salvation there is no revelation of truth, except for the truth that we are sinners and need to be saved by grace through faith. I pray this man and his followers would find the real Jesus, and stop grasping at the straws of selfism.

IC: I thought that was Dr. “J” in the late 1970s early 1980s with that fro…..Anyway, What a sad person. Leading so many astray. Isn’t the yoga used by this guy similar to the trances that happened at the “Toronto Blessing” and at that church in Pensacola Florida? I read an article comparing the yoga trances used in Hinduism and how they are similar to the false spirit trances at Toronto and Pensacola.
