I feel ashamed and embarrassed that I used to want to experience things, that I doubted was in the will of God as I could not speak in tongues, and that I let emotionalism override my mind in worship, which is no worship at all. I thank God for His mercy, and for guiding my husband and I into truth. We’ve just left a pentecostal church and am seeing that pentecostalism isn’t just tongues and dancing in church but a mindset.

I feel ashamed and embarrassed that I used to want to experience things, that I doubted was in the will of God as I could not speak in tongues, and that I let emotionalism override my mind in worship, which is no worship at all.

I thank God for His mercy, and for guiding my husband and I into truth.

It brings my heart joy (and saddens me as well)to know that I have brothers and sisters who have gone through the same thing.
