Well Stan, Christ affirmed your words in Mark 10:6-9.

The Mormons claim they desire to be "perfect" while their leaders cookie cut scripture to satisfy lust.

If you've never seen it, check out:

It proves beyond all doubt, Joseph Smith Junior was not a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ. A false prophet that I am certain was inspired by Satan. The old false angel of light at work, 2 Corinthians 11:14.

I took a course many years ago in a local college at the suggestion of my friend who was taking adult credits. The course was the Bible and the teacher was a dyed-in-the-wool Mormon. Needless to say, he and I had quite a few spirited discussions. I wondered why I had been given such an opportunity, when I realized that a former high school Sunday School student of mine was attending the same course. The professor was hot on polygamy and deeply desired it to be a legal practice today.

One day, another student caught me off guard when she unexpectedly said to me, "Why are you against polygamy when the Old Testament was full of it?" The Lord helped me at that moment. I said, "Because in the Garden, God only made one wife for Adam. He established the pattern for marriage right there when things were perfect. So, if God wanted to have polygamy as we are being taught in here, then we would have seen it then." The lady said, "That makes sense."

The professor had no response. My former student was present that day too. Thank God.
