You feel when YOU disagree that God didn’t put the person there, I say He did even when we disagree and you’ve got no scripture to say otherwise.   God put Bush in, took Saddam out, has Kim Jung Il in place and so on.  You disagree?  You show the scripture that says God does NOT put who is in power in their position of earthly authority.

And when we speak of character, lets not forget Bill Clinton has been accused of rape (probably did it and we know Hillary covered) and we know what Clinton was doing in the Oval Office with a woman other than his wife!

I think Kyle is correct, we need to get back on topic.  There will be no more comments about the 1960 or 2000 Presidential race in this thread.  Any future comment made about those matters in this thread or another that is not appropriate for the post topic will be deleted.

JFK and Clinton were both morally corrupt men, just like Nixon, Reagan, GHW Bush and W.  In my opinion both W and Clinton avoided the draft.  Just because W flew several planes and Clinton ran off to Oxford means absolutely nothing.

I am not a fan of Clinton and I cringe when I hear people refer to Clinton as the first black president.  I don’t want a man of his moral character aligned with being the best representation of my race, heritage and culture.  The last time I checked William Clinton is white and he will remain white for the rest of his life.

Kennedy was a product of his father’s political machine (similiar to Daddy Bush).  Daddy Kennedy, a bootlegger, built his empire illegally and brought his son the presidency, just like Daddy Bush did for W.
If we accurately look at history, the most spiritual grounded and God fearing president that this country (in my lifetime) was probably Jimmy Carter.  This is a man whose actions mirrowed his spiritual beliefs.
I have not decided about Barack yet, but I feel that he is the most viable African American candidate that this country will see in a long time.

It also ordered that every county in Florida must immediately begin manually recounting all "under-votes" (ballots which did not indicate a vote for president) because there were enough contested ballots to place the outcome of the election in doubt. Governor George Bush and his running mate, Richard Cheney, filed a request for review in the U.S. Supreme Court and sought an emergency petition for a stay of the Florida Supreme Court’s decision (my bold and underline). The U.S. Supreme Court granted review and issued the stay on December 9. It heard oral argument two days later.

Ginsburg and Stevens (writing separately) argued that for reasons of federalism, the Florida Supreme Court’s decision ought to be respected. Moreover, the Florida decision was fundamentally right; the Constitution requires that every vote be counted.

The following justices voted with the minority: JP Stevens (Ford appointee), Ruth Ginsburg, Stephen Beyer (Clinton appointees) and David Souter (GHW Bush appointee).

IC this supports my earlier statement that this decision was decided along party lines. As far as your other assertion via scripture about this being God’s will for W to be president is very subjective.  What you have done with the scriptures is something that your boy Fast Eddie Long and his cronies (TD Fakes, Creflo, Paula White, etc.) do in pulpits across this country every Sunday.  Manipulate the scriptures to serve your personal theology.  So are you saying God supports torture?  God supports bigatry and intolerance?  God supports the violation of human rights? 

This administration told us that Iraq had WMD’s.  This administration told us that Iran had a actively nuclear arms program.  This administration told us that Saddam Hussien was behind the 9-11 attacks, but it has been proven that the 9-11 hijackers were all Saudi nationals.  How come the US has not invaded Saudi Arabia?  Why because W’s daddy and his VP are benefitting from billion dollar contracts to redevelop a area that this administration has worked hard to destabilize.

Did you mention the particulars regarding JFK VS NIXON.  Booker G may not know just how close that race was.  I forgot what state Nixon could have recounted.  Now regarding the cke snorting and draft dodging thing about Bush let us not forget Clinton didn’t go into the military AT ALL.  Bush actually flew "real" planes in the National Gaurd.  And come to think of it Clinton was not exactly squeeky clean regarding drug use.  The one thing everyone forgets is that these are all flawed men.

In the National Opinion Research Center review of the election results, if a statewide recount had been conducted, Gore would have won.

In the state of Florida’s certified count, Bush won.  That’s what counts.

Hope you rip JFK’s legacy from him to be consistent.
