Make That 4 of 6 Pimp Lords (aka Pulpit Pimps) Have Not Complied. 2 Meet Deadline.

This is the current scorecard regarding the money heretics and their response to government inquiry.

Inquiry into TV ministries draws tepid response

Only two TV evangelists, including St. Louis’ Joyce Meyer, had responded by Thursday to a U.S. senator’s probe into the financial dealings of six media-oriented ministries.

Fenton-based Joyce Meyer Ministries and Kenneth Copeland Ministries each delivered packages of documents this week to Sen. Charles Grassley. But four other evangelists either rebuffed, ignored or delayed answering the Iowa Republican’s inquiry, a move that could provoke a constitutional showdown over church-state separation.

“It’s good that some of the ministries are cooperating,” Grassley said in a statement Thursday, the deadline he set for the ministries to answer wide-ranging questions about the financial operations of their tax-exempt organizations. “I hope all of them will cooperate in the end.”

But other preachers indicated they had no intention of providing documents detailing their compensation, expense accounts, credit card statements, and other information, as Grassley had asked.

“Senator Grassley’s request clearly disregards the privacy protections of the Church under law and appears to cross the line of constitutional guarantees for churches,” attorneys for the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church said in a statement Thursday. The church is headed by Bishop Eddie Long of Georgia.

Other ministries did not return calls for comment from the Post-Dispatch on Thursday. But Grassley’s office said preacher Creflo Dollar, of World Changers Church International outside Atlanta, told his staff he would not voluntarily cooperate and “raised the idea of a subpoena.”

It appears that Creflo Dollar and Eddie Long stand defiant behind their lawyers (not God of course). Look at what these two were saying when they first received requests from Senator Grassley’s office.

Eddie Long’s New Birth Ministries says he has received the request for information from the U.S. Senate and plans to “fully comply.

In a statement to CBS News, Creflo Dollar called his ministry an “open book” and said he would comply with any “valid request” from Grassley.

It seems more than apparent to me, that Long and Dollar have both gone back on their word. They (like all the rest) lie about God on a regular basis, so lies from their mouths is normal.

Benny Hinn, Randy and Paula White all appear to be dragging their feet. Grassley’s people plan to meet with Hinn’s people today. The White’s attorneys have contacted Grassley’s people with a we’ll be in touch and left it at that.

Thank God for small favors.  LOL!

Maybe Benny Hinn will cry out, "A curse on yah", " FIRE FIRE FIRE" when Chuck Grassley walks in.  Sigh!  This would be funny if it were not so serious.  However I find no entertainment with these pathetic fools attempting to cover up their crimes and keep stalling.
    Anyways………………………
Let me get this straight.  Copeland and Meyers are coughing up the goods.  Hinn and White are dragging their feet.  But Creflo and Eddie are holding firm.  Like I said we have to thank God for small favors.  1/3, spilling their guts, 1/3 dragging their feet, and 1/3 remaining defiant.  At least this debunks the "Black" Myth.  You know all the blogs out their that claim this is a problem in the "black" Church.  Sigh!  It’s actually quite a nice mix.  3 White, 1 Middle East, and 2 blacks.  Now all they need to do is cut the head of the serpent called TBN and subpoena Paul Crouch.

you would think that Creflo would follow the example of his "spiritual" daddy…

Grassley’s people should all be breaking out in hives already if you believe what Benny said  .  Of course all of us who have been critical of him for some time have not felt this proclaimed curse yet, but of course if you know Christ you know all curses were broken.  It just takes some of us who claim the Lord’s name a little while to figure out Benny Hinn is a fraud.

djenk23 - Yea, Copeland is a viper of the worst kind, but you’re right.  Creflo should have followed his example this time around.

Here are the other videos of note, that you might want to get a copy of before Benny has his lawyers "curse" them again  .

Benny Hinn. Is this fire from God??????????

Benny Hinn wants to kill someone

You know those false prophets get really upset when you actually apply Romans 16:17 to them  .

Does anyone have any thoughts on the following?

    (1)  The so-called doctrine of the separation of church and state . . . What about the separation of synagogue and state, or mosque and state?  Can anybody show me where the Constitution of the United States actually mentions separation of church and state?

    (2)  Not all government interference in the affairs of a church are wrong.  We should have no problem following the standards of the fire marshal for occupancy and fire safety in the buildings of our congregations.  If someone claims a deduction on her income tax, we should not have a problem confirming the contribution to the Infernal (oops, Internal) Revenue Service

  7. Gxg--G2 Says:

Meant to add on to that,   "What is the role of the civil government in protecting citizens from con-artists and thieves?  Just because people can get a Rev. (Rest, Eat, Visit) affixed to their names, should not offer them exemption from prosecution if they defraud others.  Of course, the big issue here is how this works out in property and other taxes.  Here is the heart of the matter:  clergy, be they the real McCoy or leaders of cults or con-artists in dog-collars, are entitled to certain tax benefits.

  8. Gxg--G2 Says:

IC, my bad. The post I recently posted was way too long, so don’t worry about posting it unless you want to.

IC, I saw the Benny Hinn video link above.  I must admit that man is ‘anointed’.  He’s not the same person you see on tv under the ‘anointing’.  I had to say this because I’m afraid of a ‘curse’.  Is Grassley ‘cursed’ too?  How many folks have he ‘cursed’ so far?  Be careful IC what you say about that mand of gawd or you are ‘cursed’.  Do you want to be ‘cursed’.  Curses, curses, curses.

  11. KyleNYC Says:

You know it’s just like the devil to set up the "straw man" only to tear him down.

BTW IC, Mr. Hinn uttered "devil, devil, devil" during his "fire, fire, fire" rant.  Calling out to his "god" for salvation?

  12. IndependentConservative Says:

art123 - I hear if you buy one of Benny’s fake Arks of the Covenant, that he’ll lift the curse  .

  13. art123 Says:

Yeah, yeah, IC.  This may sound a little far-fetched, but I would probably believe the ‘curses’ that the Egyptians put on their tombs and treasures before Benny Hinn.  I would like to see him go to Egypt or those museums and remove them.

  14. art123 Says:

    That’s right, he can’t.

  15. IndependentConservative Says:

Well Christ breaks all curses, so I don’t concern myself with them.  The only curse anyone should be concerned about is that of sin and finding Christ to be saved.

And as far as those Egyptian tombs go, it always seems the tomb robbers often make off with the loot before the archaeologists talking about "curses" ever get there.  And the tombs have built in traps, but the robbers often find their way beyond those too.  Perhaps the curses don’t work if you’re greedy enough  ?

  16. KyleAndrews Says:

I posted this on Melvin’s site and sadly nobody looked at it.  Sigh!  But anyways check out my Christmas Greeting I made for Melvin.  Maybe you will appreciate it.
