John Francis and Mark Chironna Trying to Sell God. Night 4 of the November 2007 TBN Pimp-a-thon!

by @ 3:28 am. Filed under Nuts on Parade

Was it live or was it rehashed tape? Can’t say for certain, but back on night 4 of the November TBN Pimp-a-thon (11/8/2007), the turkey hunt was on in full swing. You see, it’s all about convincing some turkey with a fat wallet to fall into their trap and send them as much money as possible.

Again, our good brother Matt Green has compiled video synopsis of the madness.

John Francis

One of the pimps for night 4 was the so-called “bishop” John Francis. Watch him in the video below and I’ll offer analysis after you laugh or cry your way through seeing him making merchandise of the name of the Lord.

TBN Fleece-a-Thon Fall 2007 Night 4 (Pt. 1)

John Francis claims he’s about to show you the way out and “change your season”. He’s all about tithes (see why that is bad teaching here) and says you also should pay “first fruits”. This is a play on yet another old covenant practice, that can’t be found in anything established for the church. The things the church is free from, people like Francis try and bind saints with, Colossians 2:16-19. See what the Lord Jesus Christ warned of men doing in Matthew 23 and how it parallels with the rock star legalistic nature of these pulpit pimps. They desire to BIND YOU TO TWISTED PLAYS ON OLD COVENANT ACTIONS.Francis claims the “first fruits” are a “guarantee” for your future. Bottom line, Francis is hoping you are DESPERATE OR GREEDY ENOUGH, to desire having money come your way and will do most anything short of breaking the law to get it. The REAL “first fruits” was not called that because of money, it had nothing to do with money and involved much that Francis says nothing about, Exodus 23:16-19.

Pimp John Francis claims this is his “prophetic anointing”. He tells you to give TBN $88, to get all that good stuff. He even suggested paying $88 a month for a full year. He’s a person of numerology. And says the “prophetic” is all over him. More like the PATHETIC HERESY OF SATAN IS ALL OVER HIM. When did the apostles play on numbers for people to have earthly gain? They preached a message of contentment even to DEBT slaves.

Francis claimed people would get things like homes, come out of poverty and such. He even claimed someone’s child is on their way back. The entire time he kept the crowd clapping and shouting, by his own instruction.

He said “obey the Lord“, as in somebody was disobeying God by not calling TBN with their money. In effect claiming that someone not calling TBN with their money is a sinful act, to disobey the Lord.

What if I “got on the phone” and called a fellow church assembly member in need and gave them money instead? What if I gave to a family member in need? What if I gave to a real ministry instead?

Francis acts as if him being on TBN creates some special anointing you just won’t find anywhere else. Jesus warned of this in Matthew 24:23-26.

Viper John Francis said “don’t let the devil stop you”. Again in effect treating not giving to TBN as a sinful act. Trying to make people feel that they are following Satan himself if they don’t give TBN money right away.

Total and complete foolishness and John Francis himself is the one working on behalf of Satan, 2 Peter 2.

Mark Chironna

Also during this night of trickery, Mark Chironna took the stage and spewed plenty of heresy too.

TBN Fleece-a-Thon Fall 2007 Night 4 (Pt. 2)

He mentioned a tangible and transferable anointing in saying:

There is an anointing you can wrap your arms around right now. It’s tangible and it’s transferable. And because it is, there is a dimension of access, that’s available to you as you respond.

Respond as in give money. As in buying anointing, buying the gift of almighty God, or hoping your could if you’re already flat broke. Now consider, Acts 8:20-23. For both the person trying to sell and the person trying to buy, it’s total heresy.

Pimp Chironna talked about getting to 100 fold (big bucks), by going through other folds. He totally destroys the parable of the sower, just as John Hagee has done and you can read in detail in this post about Hagee why it’s total heresy and Christ said it leads straight to hell!

Lying rat pimp viper Chironna claims the new covenant created a new fast rising soil for “seed”. But he was NOT talking about the gospel in people’s hearts. He’s claiming you’ll get quick bucks if you pay to TBN. Notice this all plays on HUMAN GREED!

He compares the resurrection of Christ with giving an “offering” to TBN. This man his doing all he can to end up in hell and it appears he’d like others to join him there. He also says:

What is it worth to you, to move into a place of acceleration?

Totally attempting to make merchandise of almighty God! This activity is sick and of the father of these lies, the devil, John 8:44, 2 Corinthians 11:13-15.

Hope only comes through the gift that is given freely to those that believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, John 3:16-21.

JOHN FRANCIS IS IN THE US??? That’s where he got to then. He’s been running quite a little racket here in Britain, but I guess he’s decided to up the stakes in the US, eh?

  2. 2thehilt Says:

John Francis… <sigh> Oh great! A viper who hisses with an accent.

  3. IndependentConservative Says:

You know some people hear the accent and think he’s somehow smarter because of it  .

He’s worked people over good outside the US and I guess Paul and Jan figured he was an effective enough charlatan to bring him state-side and have him fleece Americans too.  I mean who would want Americans to miss out on a fleecing like this  ?

And Mark Chironna, comparing his fleece job to the resurrection of Christ was simply disgusting.  People in the crowd nodding to his every twisted word.

  4. stan Says:

"Oh, I wish somebody would help me, now."

    OK, John. I’ll help you.

"Repent. There is still time. Disclose your machinations to the world. Tell them that you are trying to deceive them. Tell them you are oppressing them into giving to the rich by misusing the Word of God. Tell them that both you and they will come to poverty if what you and they are doing continues, just as Proverbs 22:16 declares. Tell them that to give to ministers of other gospels, which is what you are, (Oh, can I get a witness?)  makes them partakers in their evil deeds. (Can you feel the spirit now?) How’s that for help, Mr. Francis? Gotothephone. Gotothephone. Gotothephone. Oops, I mean Getonyourknees. Getonyourknees. Getonyourknees. (Imagine my finger snapping at you.) "

As for you,  Mark: Making the sowing of Jesus into the ground and rising as first fruits in the Resurrection into a merely a support for raising money for the rich goes over well in Heaven.  Can you get your arms around that?

  5. rehabbedchurchgoer Says:

I’ve got your prophetic anointing right here, buddy…

If all they say is true, why don’t they have the November Lets-Give-Our Money-to-the-Poor-Viewers-a-thon.

  6. IndependentConservative Says:

One has to wonder why Paul Crouch won’t just "sow that seed" while having someone like Steve Munsey repeatedly grant double portions, Mark Chironna could progress them through 30, 60 and 100 fold return and John Francis could offer his anooooointed numerical analysis.  Together they could make TBN much richer than lying begging for money on regular intervals, IF WHAT THEY WERE CLAIMING WAS TRUE.

They are not going to give to the poor in earnest.  They’re trying to convince the poor that it only works when the poor give to them.  Turning the gospel on its head, from being a message of those who have meeting the needs of those in need, to a message of those with need giving to millionaires out of necessity  .

  7. Copeland8 Says:

I wish more people would see that the power and grace of God is free

  8. GaryV Says:

I did an article on Chironna a while back for Melvin that didn’t make the cut……….dude is a serious flake. He’ll personally Life Coach you via telephone for some outrageous amount of coin. Not to mention his phony "edyukashin".

  9. Gxg--G2 Says:

    "edyukashin?"?????

  10. art123 Says:

    It sounds like hocus pocus.

  11. healtheland Says:

Copeland8: Regrettably they do not want God’s grace. What they are after is entertainment and a false god to be their genie in a lamp.

  12. Caleb Phillips Says:

Personally, I see no difference from what these "pastors" on TBN are doing, from the Roman Catholic indulgences. It’s just a way for these "men of God" to gain money. Also Mark Chironna’s views on Jesus’ divinity is nothing but a load of cow manure!!! (I’m a farmer’s nephew-sort of)

  13. Independent Conservative Says:

    M-M-M-Mark Chironna…

First, a musical tribute to an up and coming (or down and going) Pimp/Profit, Mark Chironna
(sung to the tune of My Sharona)
Ooh, now brothers pity one, oh pity one
Who’s fallen in the ditch with that blind Chironna,Psycho-Babble we should shun,…

  14. art123 Says:

I used to watch John Francis and his wife Penny’s ministry on the Christian networks.  I thought that his ministry was alright until a blogger from pulpit-pimps showed me whom he associates with, including Benny Hinn.
