I’m just saying, if you claim you’re not going to break the covenant then don’t break it. I took that to mean she would not divorce, but she claims it meant she would not speak ill of him.
Here’s some video to refresh your memory:

So instead of waiting till he’s no longer her “husband”, she’s already spreading the dirt. And made sure to let you know it was Louis Vuitton luggage too

Sniff. I had nothing but $20,000 worth of luggage and a $5,000 pen. sniff.

IC,
You should be used to Juanita lying by now. The sad part is that blind sheep will defend her sin. I would love to ask her about some of the lies she has been caught in. Tom Joyner asked her all of the wrong questions.
Id pay money to watch her tap dance around some real questions.

IndependentConservative: That AWFUL Atlanta Journal - Constitution says that Essence Magazine is doing a TWO PART FEATURE on Juanita Bynum in their December and January editions. Here is the link: http://www.ajc.com/search/content/metro/gwinnett/stories/2007/11/14/bynum_1115_web.html
Oh yeah, I caught her fellow TD Jakes alumnae Paula White claiming that she is a better preacher than Apostle Paul. Got it on tape. http://healtheland.wordpress.com/2007/11/15/paula-white-claims-she-is-a-better-preacher-than-apostle-paul/
November 16th, 2007 at 8:41 am
healtheland - Yes, what I cite on Essense.com notes the coming 2 part feature.
Regarding Paula White’s statements about the apostle Paul. I guess you missed my post titled :
Paula White Trashes the Words of Paul and Empowers Greed.

SoliDeoGloriaFella - Of course I know she lies. She’s lied from the moment she held a mic in her hand claiming to be a prophetesses. But I’ve got to keep beating this drum, because each time it is noted, a different member of the lost sheep might wake up.
With this latest breaking of "the covenant" in speaking ill of her "husband", we have absolutely no idea what happened. If Weeks really did toss her on the side of the road, with as rehabbedchurchgoer mentions,
Did she have her "brick" in the car that day? She says that Thomas Weeks is a Mand of Gawd. Perhaps she was having something other than a Proverbs 31 Woman moment and it was the best option
?
Put a Mand of Gawd and a Profit-tus together and you never know what might happen next!
November 16th, 2007 at 9:42 am
I read that article…she totally painted herself as the victim….which conflicts with her youtube testimony of being a ‘pitbull’ and wannabe brick tosser….she basically details most of Weeks’ wrongdoing from one side of her mouth all while saying that it takes two to break up a marriage out of the other side…..
November 16th, 2007 at 10:33 am
IC: Yeah I did miss it … I will check it out right now …
November 16th, 2007 at 2:08 pm
I believe I heard Weeks speak about him throwing her luggage out of the car at the TMHTLY conference. But of course you know Juanita is not about to tell you what really happened. She made it sound like he just did it for nothing.
By the way, Paula got that sermon about Paul from her "daddy" TD Jakes. I heard him preach this sermon on his program. He must have given her his notes because she preached it word for word. She said the exact same things that he said.
November 16th, 2007 at 2:15 pm
Praiser4Life - I sure would like to get a hold of a copy of TD doing that same mess of lies. Proof of him saying it and her repeating it would be most interesting indeed.
November 17th, 2007 at 12:22 am
IC,
Isn’t it possible that they both went to sermons.com? However, it would be interesting to see what you get.
November 17th, 2007 at 1:50 am
This woman is faker than wrestling…
"It takes two to make a marriage go bad."
-Juanita Bynum
If it takes TWO to make a mariage go bad, then why are we only hearing about how ONE of you made the marriage go bad, Mrs. Bynum-Weeks?
Ive heard Jakes word for word say what Paula said about the Apostle Paul during his message. I will look for it.
November 17th, 2007 at 5:14 am
Wow, we have two witnesses of this TD Jakes said what Paula White said matter.
art123, you could be right or Praiser4Life’s guess is correct. Either Jakes fed Paula the notes, if she didn’t copy him off viewing a TV broadcast, or this was a case where 2 people pulled the same sermon from the same source. Either way, the sermon was just terrible and false. If that garbage came from sermons.com, all who purchased it should seek a full refund, on top of ending the practice of using pre-packaged sermons with no attribution in the first place. It’s only further proof of those who should consider leaving their assumed roles of church leadership.

Hey!! Don’t badmouth Sermons.com!! After all, what do you expect from your Mand/Womand of GAWWWWWD??? They got shows to tape and conferences to attend and booklets to write. You expect them to waste time communing with GAWWWWWWWWD??
November 17th, 2007 at 8:45 am
I’m not a fan of Juanita Bynum. But I have a question for everyone to ponder. When you look at the wedding vows and the part where the husband promises to love and cherish his wife (and other similar wordings in the vows)—and when you look to the scene in the parking lot where he stomped her like he was stomping a rodent or a roach— who broke the covenant?
I just read the Essence article and will blog about it later on today on my site. I’d advise everyone to read that article, even if you stand there in the grocery store or book store and read it. It sheds a lot of light on things.

Yeah, that’s messed up to claim that you had an revelation from Gawd, but it’s sermons.com.
November 17th, 2007 at 12:01 pm
I’ve seen some worldly celebrities L/V collection on TV that would probably make Bynum look like a pauper. Someone mentioned one day and I don’t remember if it’s this site or pulpit-pimps site, that they can preach all of this prosperity gospel, but worldly rich folks can get twice or more things and never knew Christ. It should be evident that the focus is not materialism, but eternal life. If materialism was the focus, then saved folks would have more than rich worldly folks. Think Solomon, Job, and David. I don’t know if it makes sense, but that’s the way I view it.
November 17th, 2007 at 12:10 pm
They’ve both broken it. When she had the brick before the parking lot, who broke it then? Point is that both are false teachers and both are untrue to their words. Problem is, one keeps yapping to the widest audience possible, while the other is being a little low key at the moment. But you know there’s plenty of posts about Weeks here that are 100% honest about him too
. The public bickering will only ensure more mud comes from both sides. My goal, alert the sheep to them both and they have done a marvelous job in helping me do that.
No way I’d give Essence a penny for the words of Bynum. If I read it, it will be via other means.
I don’t expect it to shed "light", but rather a spin of sorts. It (Bynum-Weeks Corp.) was a mess before it started and now that they are apart its still a mess.
What does either speaking to a magazine about past fights do to help anyone come to Christ? What does either speaking in a magazine about past fights do to create a shelter for anyone who is abused? (Which is what Bynum should be doing with that land she failed to pay taxes on instead of trying to build a "spa".) Both have a HISTORY of bad in relationships before they ever met each other. This does nothing to help anyone. The message was already sent that if your spouse is beating you up, perhaps you need to consider a separation. (Not a divorce.) All the rest is spin for public consumption, to protect Religious Industry empires, but in doing so they’re actually tearing their respective empires down.

art123 - You’re right on point! If it was about material wealth, Donald Trump and Bill Gates should be their ministers.
So long as a saint fails to rightly divide 1 Timothy 6, they will endure sorrows as are noted.
November 17th, 2007 at 12:43 pm
IC said, When she had the brick before the parking lot, who broke it then?
The difference is that she did not hit him, whereas he actually hit, stomped, choked and kicked her (allegedly).
The Essence magazine (December) is in all the local grocery stores. You can read it right there. You don’t have to buy it.
November 17th, 2007 at 1:17 pm
Lennie, are we to believe that what occurred in the parking lot occurred with no input from Bynum at all?
Let’s be HONEST here. Weeks although a wife beating punk, did attempt to leave and was not allowed to just walk away.
Weeks is not talking much and good that he does not. Are you assuming that he’s not sitting on a pile of mess about Bynum? Mess that never made it to the media?
Women who are the real faces of domestic violence would LOVE for their violent tempered husbands to just walk away.
Being married, I must say that absolutely nothing Bynum has said about the issue of domestic violence has done a thing to help my marriage. (Not that we are holding bricks or kicking each other, my point is she brings nothing of benefit.) And nothing she’s said has given me a single thing to help anyone I might meet who encounters domestic violence.
How many scriptures has Juanita Bynum offered in relation to all of this, outside of abusing scripture to claim she’s going to be big time famous? Has Juanita Bynum gone to minister for free at any women’s shelters?
I do know she’s got a big Valentines Day event setup for her own self promotion in the name of her new cause, that she’s the worse person to be a spokesperson for.
Lennie, did reading the Essence article help your marriage at all? Did it give you something to help the real faces of domestic violence? Do you think it will help anyone who is a Christian to grow in their walk with Christ by reading that article?
November 17th, 2007 at 4:41 pm
I believe that Bynum is a bad spokesperson for EVERYBODY. She’s no good to the married, single, divorced, separated, engaged and forget the dead. As a so called prophetess, she is not following the guidelines of the scriptures, the Holy Spirit, so therefore where’s the edification? She’s in it for HERSELF.
November 18th, 2007 at 6:31 pm
This is my rebuttal to the Essence article. I didn’t buy the magazine, I wouldn’t pay money for anything like that. I got my info on the web:
These two are a match made in hell! She should have left him married to his first wife but this Jezebel Bynum pimp lives by her flesh, and she spews vomit from her mouth. Bynum makes it out like he’s only interested in her money, I think it’s mutual. No one told her to throw out that $$$million dollar wedding to impress the world. SHE did that! “HIS” cultish church of dummy members”…was also “HER” cultish church of dummy members. HOMELESS??? That discredits the whole “She paid $300,000 down on their SEVENTH (7th) home and HE was supposed to pick up the rest.” She’s on the news saying that she was waiting for her tax exempt status. Why does her HOUSE get a tax exempt status? That’s not a church…the public does not attend church there. What a liar, and thief of God’s money! He’s a “no body” she makes more than him, why wasn’t SHE the good steward and just pay it? It was her house too. He’s the only one interested in money….SHE’S ON YOUTUBE teaching the flock to buy $5,000.00 ink pens. That if they use BIC they are “common” folk. (see youtube.com “$5000 pen”) She slept in her church??? If that’s even true, have you ever seen these mega churches? They are like palaces…why don’t they let the REAL homeless sleep there? “She did not want to call the police” I think she set the whole thing up so she could get "legally" divorced and not be judged by the church. Don’t get me wrong, he is a low life pimp too and a wife beater…but she knew that, she shouldn’t have run after him and provoked him. She wanted a new “mantle” in life, “the face of domestic violence” so she could get more money from the innocent flock. This was her way into the world. She said so, 11 days before this mess. The real battered women don’t have plastic surgery, 7 homes, fancy cars, dream vacations, $5000 pens, or look like a Hollywood photo shoot on their website. Her place in the world is with Oprah (New Ager) and Barak Obama (believes in abortion and gay marriage)…her place in the world is anti Christian. After the attack she’s on her website begging for $200,000 for a threshing floor. Where in the bible does it say you have to pray on a threshing floor? Where in the bible does it say ANYTHING that bynum or weeks says? If you watch them together she’s always pushing him out of the way and won’t let him speak. She upstages him and gets all the attention. He probably gets mad…ALL EGO…on both parts. She’s a Jezebel and he’s a loser. They are both PIMPS. He gave himself the title of “bishop.” HELLOOO…all the pimps do that…including HER! She gave herself the title of “DOCTOR” but she’s no doctor. Most of the titles are self-imposed or given as an “honorary” status from ORU….HELLOOO…. ORU are you listening? They’re in a ton of trouble too. Wake up little sheep…. Why didn’t she provide the text messages on her phone from him if they were threatening? I would have. If she could think fast enough to have backup in the hotel, then she could have saved the text messages. She is trying to rebuild HER reputation so she threw him under the bus in this article. Well we all already know what kind of person HE is…she should have had more class. But she hasn’t shut up since all this happened. She said her first marriage was the same, the common denominator there is HER!! She’s a scripture twister and spews vomit from her mouth of the prosperity gospel. “Give to God and God is so desperate and grateful for your money that he’s gonna bless you 100 fold. The only one’s getting rich are the pimps. WE WERE WARNED THE WOLVES WOULD COME TO DEVOUR THE SHEEP! Run away as fast as you can and do not look back!!

Any word on her Louis Vuitton luggage? I’m sure they’ll ship her some more, free of charge. After all, she’s a wealthy celebrity.
