Ashille – What you are not aware of, is that you’ve been presented a false gospel that turns the truth of Christ on its head.

Consider this:
1 Corinthians 5:6-13 (New American Standard Bible)

6 Your boasting is not good Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump of dough?

7 Clean out the old leaven so that you may be a new lump, just as you are in fact unleavened. For Christ our Passover also has been sacrificed.

8 Therefore let us celebrate the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

9 I wrote you in my letter not to associate with immoral people;

10 I did not at all mean with the immoral people of this world, or with the covetous and swindlers, or with idolaters, for then you would have to go out of the world.

11 But actually, I wrote to you not to associate with any so-called brother if he is an immoral person, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or a swindler–not even to eat with such a one.

12 For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Do you not judge those who are within the church?

13 But those who are outside, God judges. REMOVE THE WICKED MAN FROM AMONG YOURSELVES.

The FALSE prosperity doctrine is the epitome of swindling and covetousness. Even minus Zach Tims sexual immorality, he’s holding to a false doctrine, that tears away from the good message of Christ and contentment. (Click that link and read the truth.)

While I think that the behavior of Dr. Tims is deplorable, I also think that the comments posted above are just as tasteless and judgemental. The Bible states that he who is without sin should cast the first stone and since "none are without sin" and all fall short of thr Glory of God, I think it’s ridiculous that some of the statements in this blog were even submitted. How is it that the world can blatantly flaunt their wealth and possessions and we can accept it but when men and women of God mention that they aren’t in lack or poverty certain of us go into a hysterical fit? Christians are the only group of spiritual people that shoot their fellow soldiers when they are down. I feel that as long as I put my 10% into tithes, I’m doing my part, and the minister chooses to use that money for reasons other than bettering the house of God it is for the Lord to correct them. Stop being hypocrites and examine your own hearts and if you find that you are perfect, then you can post these negative distasteful comments on here, but I know who I was before Christ, who I am with him, and what He’s changing about me…and I also know that any one that could speak derrogatively about anyone else, in the pulpit or otherwise, is someone who’s obviously stopped looking at themself.

Yes to all of your questions. This goes to show you how jacked up the so called "church" is. She should be in counseling with her husband. You mean to tell me there is not one person there who is qualified to run the church in their absence. Sad!

Regarding Zach Tims, rumors of his infidelity have been swirling for some time now. He’s apparently devised a means to make it appear he’s being contrite, while continuing to keep the cash flowing into his own pocket and he can keep control of affairs. While having his wife front as the leader. Those types never cared much about scripture to begin with, it’s all their tool for monetary wealth.

Did i just read that Tims’ wife is going to continue to pastor the church?….Didn’t his infidelity affect her too?….Shouldn’t they be working those issues out together?….nevermind the fact that she not authorized to be a pastor according to the Bible…
