Fox 5 Atlanta has aired part 1 of their LATEST (because there have been so many) 2 part series on mess related to Earl “The Abomination” Paulk. Check out the video on their site and then stop back here.
Yes they’ve got the uncle Earl is my daddy matter covered and honestly I was going to leave the nephew/son D. E. Paulk alone. I figured him learning that the abominations Earl Paulk was involved in impacted him directly, perhaps he might humble himself. But NOOOOOOO. This nut has decided to play the role of cover man (my opinion) and the new attack dog for the Paulk Religious Industry Empire (what’s left of it), while claiming he wants to keep things private.
But lets start at the top and then get into things related to the nephew/son.
“The Abomination” may have lied under oath and a criminal investigation is in process. We can only pray he is locked behind bars WHERE HIS EVIL BUTT BELONGS! If found guilty he’s violated laws of both God and man and continued to abuse souls, let him rot in prison. He’s earned, worked hard for it, don’t deny this man his due reward. (Yes, I’m praying for prison time, for the safety of all women. Remember this man’s granddaughter accused him of sexual abuse! Yea we can pray he repents WHILE IN PRISON WHERE HE BELONGS.)
D. E. Paulk claims this is “family business”, but he’s trying to trash Mona Brewer’s name in the media, by talking about her. Basically claiming she and all other accusers are bad people. You can’t have it both ways D. E., you can’t claim you want things private while trashing people in public! So I now consider YOU fair game. D. E. Paulk is simply trying to keep the mess under wraps, so he can keep the Paulk name and fame going. Isn’t this EXACTLY what his uncle/daddy Earl has been doing all these years? (Of course all this is just my opinion.) The cover-ups, the trashing of accusers and so on. Son of abomination is working his way down the ladder of sins straight to hell himself. He has claimed leadership in the assembly, but obviously he’s done NOTHING to rebuke the evil, 1 Corinthians 5. (God knows I NEVER thought I’d see a case that lined up ALMOST PERFECTLY FROM TOP TO BOTTOM with that chapter of scripture.)
Despite all the allegations against The Abomination, son of abomination did not rebuke The Abomination. In fact, they changed Paulk’s title after he passed the reigns to D. E., to “Archbishop”. Sin got an upgrade in title that is not even found within scripture, but I know what is in scripture and probably NEVER preached from the Paulk pulpit!

Not only should The Abomination have been excommunicated, he should have been openly rebuked to the point it should have become a TV broadcast!
The latest cover story (that’s my opinion of course) is that uncle/daddy Earl was acting like a surrogate father, because of his mother’s supposed fertility problems. Are we supposed to be that stupid? This might work on the last few sheeple paying these pimps 10% come Sunday, but it certainly does not work outside that small circle, that won’t leave yet. If the issue was with his mother, why did they need ANOTHER MAN?!!! I say it’s LIES ALL LIES in my opinion. And even if it were true, it’s still an abomination, Leviticus 18:16. D. E. Paulk is showing himself to be of the same ilk of his uncle/daddy. Like father, like son sadly.
D. E. Paulk wants to “rebuild” this assembly. Isn’t that EXACTLY what Earl Paulk continued to do when membership waned between scandals? With all the mess and this man trying to cover for it, no saint would do well to sit in an assembly with any of the Paulks. GET AWAY FROM THE WICKED PAULKS!

Question: What does Bishop Kirby Clements, who we thought was a man of great integrity have to say about this mess? Is he still serving the Paulks?
It is also obvious why Anthony Lockett remained as praise leader (with Mona Brewer) after going through numerous marriages and divorces – without any rebuke from the Paulks. He proves a fact – people join churches for one of two reasons (1) to hide behind the leaders weaknesses or (2) to be covered by the leaders strengths. It was easy for Anthony Lockett to operate there because the Paulks alleged sexual weakness have gone unchecked for so long. Therefore, they could not dare check his error. I guess this is why they are accepting the doctrine of Universalism which declares you can do anything you want without consequence.
I am a Pentecostal/Charismatic believer. I have found the greatest problem with our beliefs are some of our Pentecostal/Charismatic believers. Some have thrown biblical orthodoxy and sound doctrine aside for a ‘feel good’ system of belief. Among Evangelicals, they too have their ’shamed’ personalities (i.e. Ted Haggard). Lets not count noses. Let’s look at the facts.
The Body of Christ as a whole needs prayer. The very fact that we speak in terms of Pentecostal, Charismatic, Evangelical or whatever stream is a sad witness to the world (John 17:21,22). Yet, I am glad when the Holy Spirit exposes sin among the self proclaimed elite. They have forgotten that the bible still declares that "your sin will find you out!"(Numbers 32:23). My prayer is that we will learn to rely on the Word of God. That instead of worshipping distorted and dysfunctional men, we will bow to a Risen Lord. Spiritual leaders have a role – not as icons but servants (Ephesians 4:11-16; 1 Peter 5:2,3).
We are living in a precious time when the world needs Jesus. The errors of the Paulks, McClendon, Haggard, Bynum, Weeks, Whites and the like only prove we must rely on the Lord – not men.
