When someone is moving up in the world of journalism, they have some big choices to make. By avoiding certain topics they stand to line their pockets well. By lurching a little from firm footing, they can get paid, while tossing out varied views that please the masses. I was just reading a post over at La Shawn Barber’s Corner and was glad to see she continues to contend for the faith in spirit and in truth.
By Grace Alone Through Faith Alone in Christ Alone

Read it all when you have time. We must continue to support our brothers and sisters who continue to stand on sound doctrine and do not water down their message for the sake of monetary gain. Let’s be honest about it. For an up and coming writer, words like those above cost in terms of earthly gain, because some with influence won’t like seeing that posted. But there is a Heavenly reward for standing firm on the truth of Christ alone.
2 John 1:8 (New American Standard Bible)

Good to see my sister in Christ continues to work for the best and full reward!
And yes we discussed the Ann Coulter matter given our blog posts differ a bit regarding that. I’ll just say, that La Shawn prays for Ann, to come to the fullness of the truth in Christ that many of you reading here already know.
Finally I’ll mention, that without God moving La Shawn to be a blogger. His divine plan might not have included others like myself doing the same. But given her blog and an elder brother in the faith nudging me, I had to make a full schedule more full with blogging
. And thank God all goes according to His plan.

Ditto on the thoughts, Brah.
Commenting on the information that others place up ALOT’S easier. Running a blog is no joke……….especially when the goal is to bring out current information/insight that will bless/challenge those who view. Even with my blog getting set up, it’s still a HUGE struggle to get information up consistently.
Many props to you, Bro IC, for the work you do. Hope to be able to do the same as effectively as you soon….& prayerfully, others will follow in line/start to do the same. Get the truth out………

Curious, Bro IC, as to what the most difficult part of journalism/blogging for you.
Personally, my goal’s to create a blog that could be as informative/helpful to saints as this one is & others……..but alot of times, I honestly feel quite limited in what I’m able to do. It’s difficult enough dealing with "CRUNCH TIME" here in school & trying to think/look for current events that people need to hear about, as well as writting detailed information on those subjects.
There are times when I wish technology was advance enough that we could all see each other face to face/have open dialouge there, as it’s ALOT easier to get things out/avoid misunderstanding in person many times when you’re simply talking it out, as opposed to trying to make it sound good/coherent in writing…….& that can be very frustrating when one’s earnestly desiring to contend for the faith & help others become aware of the times on a large scale but feels like he or she is inadequate for the task………but either way, as long as the truth’s being spread/learning’s being accomplished, it’s all good.
Proverbs 15:7
The Lips of the wise spread knowledge…..
Proverbs 18:15
15 The heart of the discerning acquires knowledge;
the ears of the wise seek it out.

Gxg–G2 - Some of it comes easier with time and continuing to work on it. And you learn a lot along the way.
The hard part is time. Never enough of it you know
.
I think you should of course pray about it and just blog about what you feel should be noted during the course of your regular travels.
I think things are getting closer to having more video based exchanges. With YouTube and people sending video messages back and forth it’s coming along and will only improve with time. (I mean the overall technology, not necessarily YouTube as a site.)
I prefer text, because although you can "tag" a video for certain search criteria, with text people find information posted that you might not even tag the post for. Often when I’m researching I might find something at the very end of a write-up, that came up in a search. And what I was looking for was not even the main point of the write-up. So I think text allows for much easier searching for research purposes. Plus with video there can be more issues of vanity, but that’s just my opinion.
Once videos can be searched like text, that’s when the video side will really be cool.
Keep working on it.

Didn’t Martin Luther also come to the realization that the Catholic Church was corrupt and running the same pimp game as today?

He realized a whole lot more than just that. The Protestant Reformation is a topic you might want to read about when you have time. There are lots of free resources out there if you search.
