The beginning of this blog article would best describe my situation when found out this other guy, an open-air "preacher" by the name of Kerrigan Skelly(I mentioned him in the comments on another article), was a false teacher and it's upsetting, you think he's a man of God, but he's really a false teacher.

Thanks for exposing this man and the effort you put into it-much appreciated!!Keep up the good work.Things are getting very dangerous and deceptive(and bizarre)when those who are themselves engaged in exposing frauds and heretics are themselves found to be frauds and heretics!!What a perfect front for the devil as no one would suspect!!It serves as an informative illustration of just how subtle and crafty the devil is.

Something else the OLD ANTHONY SITUATION reminds me of:

1 Corinthians 10

Warnings From Israel's History

1For I do not want you to be ignorant of the fact, brothers, that our forefathers were all under the cloud and that they all passed through the sea. 2They were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea. 3They all ate the same spiritual food 4and drank the same spiritual drink; for they drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them, and that rock was Christ.

5Nevertheless, God was not pleased with most of them; their bodies were scattered over the desert.

6Now these things occurred as examples[a] to keep us from setting our hearts on evil things as they did. 7Do not be idolaters, as some of them were; as it is written: "The people sat down to eat and drink and got up to indulge in pagan revelry."[b] 8We should not commit sexual immorality, as some of them did—and in one day twenty-three thousand of them died. 9We should not test the Lord, as some of them did—and were killed by snakes. 10And do not grumble, as some of them did—and were killed by the destroying angel.

11These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the fulfillment of the ages has come.

12So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don't fall!

If anyone wishes to bust out the line "Don't judge, cause it can happen to anyone", it should be noted that the reality is that what happened to OLD ANTHONY CANNOT HAPPEN TO ANYONE.......at least, to those who are seeking to take God's commands seriously/believe him at His Word.

But for those who try to flirt with sin/legalize it in the name of "Christ", check yourself before you wreck yourself......

PEACE.....

Don't know where this would exactly fit in, but I wanted to share some things that've been on my heart for awhile regarding the OLD Antony situation.

I cannot help but be shocked seeing that a ministry like his that began with such noble intentions/efforts to expose error/promote truth ended up becoming just like the very thing it claimed to be against......yet I can't help but realize that's what happens when one denounces all of the
criticims put forth against them & suggestions for modyfying areas in their lives that could prove to be "pitfalls" because some good was coming about from their actions.

.

When it comes to discussing movements with cultic/herectical beliefs, I've often heard them referred to by many
names----things like "spawn of the devil", "nothing good about it", etc.

I've even heard of it/other things referred to as The Laodicea church, which symbolizes MUCH of the modern church/issues dealt with here.

However, that wasn't the only church Jesus had issue with:

Revelation 2
Message to Ephesus

1"To the angel of the church in (A)Ephesus write: The One who holds (B)the seven stars in His right hand, the One who walks (C)among the seven golden lampstands, says this:

2'(D)I know your deeds and your toil and perseverance, and that you cannot
tolerate evil men, and you (E)put to the test those who call themselves
(F)apostles, and they are not, and you found them to be false;

3and you have perseverance and have endured (G)for My name's sake, and have not grown weary.

4'But I have this against you, that you have (H)left your first love.

5'Therefore remember from where you have fallen, and (I)repent and (J)do the deeds you did at first; or else I am coming to you and will remove your
(K)lampstand out of its place--unless you repent.

6'Yet this you do have, that you hate the deeds of the (L)Nicolaitans, which I also hate.

7'(M)He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches (N)To him who overcomes, I will grant to eat of (O)the tree of life which is in the (P)Paradise of God.'

Despite exposing error/promoting truth, Christ rebuked Ephesus also……despite ANY
RIGHTEOUS characteristics they possessed ( Revelation 2:1-7)—for if motives are off or there’s not genuine love/honor for one another as authentic proof of the
Gospel, EFFORTS mean NOTHING

John 13:34-35

34"A (A)new commandment I give to you, (B)that you love one another, (C)even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.

35"(D)By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.

Romans 12:9-18

9Let (A)love be without hypocrisy (B)Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good.

10Be (C)devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one
another (D)in honor;11not lagging behind in diligence, (E)fervent in spirit, (F)serving the Lord;12(G)rejoicing in hope, (H)persevering in tribulation,(I)devoted to prayer,13(J)contributing to the needs of the saints, (K)practicing hospitality.

14(L)Bless those who persecute [a]you; bless and do not curse.

15(M)Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.

16(N)Be of the same mind toward one another; (O)do not be haughty in mind, but associate with the lowly (P)Do not be wise in your own estimation.

17(Q)Never pay back evil for evil to anyone (R)Respect what is right in the
sight of all men.

18If possible, (S)so far as it depends on you, (T)be at peace with all men.

1 Peter 2:16-17

6Live as free men, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as servants of God. 17Show proper respect to everyone: Love the brotherhood of believers, fear God, honor the king.

1 John 3:11-23

11(A)For this is the message (B)which you have heard from the beginning,
(C)that we should love one another;

12not as (D)Cain, who was of (E)the evil one and slew his brother And for what reason did he slay him? Because (F)his deeds were evil, and his brother's were
righteous.

13Do not be surprised, brethren, if (G)the world hates you.

14We know that we have (H)passed out of death into life, (I)because we love the brethren. He who does not love abides in death.

15Everyone who (J)hates his brother is a murderer; and you know that (K)no
murderer has eternal life abiding in him.

16We know love by this, that (L)He laid down His life for us; and (M)we ought to lay down our lives for the (N)brethren.

17But (O)whoever has the world's goods, and sees his brother in need and (P)closes his heart against him, (Q)how does the love of God abide in him?

18(R)Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and (S)truth.

19We will know by this that we are (T)of the truth, and will assure our heart before Him20in whatever our heart condemns us; for God is greater than our heart and
knows all things.

21(U)Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have (V)confidence before
God;22and (W)whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we (X)keep His commandments and do (Y)the things that are pleasing in His sight.

23This is His commandment, that we (Z)believe in (AA)the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as (AB)He commanded us.

Lest anyone be mistaken, it's PARAMOUNT to make certain that what we believe lines up with what the Lord believes, as failing to do so ends up creating danger for us all:

1 Timothy 4:16

16Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.

However, As necessary the battle is for to maintain sound teaching & moral/doctrinal
purity.....it's very easy to forget that in the battle , it’s possible to lose a charitable spirit:

Philippians 4:5

5 Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

Prolonged conflict can weaken or destroy patience & affection that’s to define
us:

Ephesians 4

Unity of the Spirit
1Therefore I, (A)the prisoner of the Lord, (B)implore you to (C)walk in a
manner worthy of the (D)calling with which you have been (E)called,

2with all (F)humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another (G)in love,

Colossians 3:12-14

12So, as those who have been (A)chosen of God, holy and beloved, (B)put on a
(C)heart of compassion, kindness, (D)humility, gentleness and (E)patience;

13(F)bearing with one another, and (G)forgiving each other, whoever has a
complaint against anyone; (H)just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you.

14Beyond all these things put on love, which is (I)the perfect bond of
(J)unity.

Once we lose those traits that have been listed above, it seems that one inevitably ends up walking down a dark path much like OLD ANTONY did......that’s DANGEROUS to our work 4 God.

I've witnessed many saints/churches that started out good, but then fell into mess later when they lost the humility that was to define them & began to think they were above criticism because of all the good they were either doing or seeking to accomplish....

I’ve witnessed MULTIPLE on other sites how it seems that in dealing with error, people end up becoming like the Church in Ephesus (Revelation 2:1-7)…..even to the extreme of becoming Pharisees from a different angle, for the false leaders in Christ day weren’t just guilty of teaching the wrong things (erroneous doctrine) since they were exacting/scrupulous in their attempts to follow the law of God (Matthew 5:20)…. But also guilty in having CORRECT DOCTRINE/ knowledge of things but not the right attitudes.

They were all about head knowledge/facts, but their love was cold & they were content in merely having knowledge. If there were issues in their own lives that needed to be adressed, they'd simply mask it by pointing to the errors of others & using the Word of God like a toy, weilding it to support whatever agenda they had (as OLD ANthnony did). Doing so was essentially pride, for they believed that they were above reproach/correction (or at least to the degree that they were only willing to admit error where they were COMFORTABLE admitting it)......and that sin of pride was all that was needed to open the door for a host of other sins that were never expected to occur, from sexual immorality to lying to manipulation, etc.

As John Bunyan once said, "SINS NEVER TRAVEL ALONE....."...& the sins I say yes too because they seem less OBVIOUS/DEADLY (i.e. pride, self-righteousness, haughitness) are the same ones that'll open the door to all of the others I didn't want. Old Antony & various other ministries that have done the same are living proof of this.

THAT'S scary, & moreover ESPECIALLY seeing that the Word makes clear that worldliness is not a mere thing of EXTERNAL ACTIONS/attitudes, but OF INNER ONES AS as well. I can have all the correct theological knowledge IN THE WORLD & BE POINTING OUT CRUCIAL ERRORS in the LIVES OF OTHERS... but still be worldly at heart/still in DANGER of mess, especially seeing that PRIDE/FOCUSING on exalitng oneself iNstead of building others up OR exalting the Lord is a WORLDLY Attitude & listed among the things that are evidence of one not truly being connected with the Lord. One could be giving the appearance that they're against the things of the world & yet still be worldy at heart.

I John 2:15-18

Do Not Love the World

15Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16For everything in the world—the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the BOASTING OF WHAT HE HAS & DOES—comes not from the Father but from the world. 17The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever.

Warning Against Antichrists

18Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour

EVERYTHING WE DO MUST BE DONE IN LOVE/WITH THE MOTIVE OF BUILDING UP THE SAINTS....or else the Work we do for God will be
torn down/not last.

And even when it seems that good is coming about from our actions, if our motives are dark, they'll manifest/rise to the surface at SOME POINT.....& it'll be an UGLY SIGHT, just like OLD ANTONY's was.

Luke 12

Warnings and Encouragements

1Meanwhile, when a crowd of many thousands had gathered, so that they were trampling on one another, Jesus began to speak first to his disciples, saying: "Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.

2There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. 3What you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the roofs.

Pray other saints keep this in mind, & that we remain ALERT OURSELVES regarding our own motives/attitudes when it comes to exposing error or dealing with ANY KIND OF MINISTRY.......lest we repeat what OLD Antony has done somehow:

Romans 12:3

Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you.

James 3:12-18

12My brothers, can a fig tree bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Neither can a salt spring produce fresh water.

Two Kinds of Wisdom

13Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show it by his good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. 14But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth. 15Such "wisdom" does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, of the devil. 16For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice.

17But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. 18Peacemakers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness.

Don’t know where this would exactly fit in, but I wanted to share some things that’ve been on my heart for awhile regarding the OLD Antony situation.

I cannot help but be shocked seeing that a ministry like his that began with such noble intentions/efforts to expose error/promote truth ended up becoming just like the very thing it claimed to be against……yet I can’t help but realize that’s what happens when one denounces all of the
criticims put forth against them & suggestions for modyfying areas in their lives that could prove to be “pitfalls” because some good was coming about from their actions.

.

When it comes to discussing movements with cultic/herectical beliefs, I’ve often heard them referred to by many
names—-things like “spawn of the devil”, “nothing good about it”, etc.

I’ve even heard of it/other things referred to as The Laodicea church, which symbolizes MUCH of the modern church/issues dealt with here.

However, that wasn’t the only church Jesus had issue with:

Revelation 2
Message to Ephesus

1″To the angel of the church in (A)Ephesus write: The One who holds (B)the seven stars in His right hand, the One who walks (C)among the seven golden lampstands, says this:

2′(D)I know your deeds and your toil and perseverance, and that you cannot
tolerate evil men, and you (E)put to the test those who call themselves
(F)apostles, and they are not, and you found them to be false;

3and you have perseverance and have endured (G)for My name’s sake, and have not grown weary.

4′But I have this against you, that you have (H)left your first love.

5′Therefore remember from where you have fallen, and (I)repent and (J)do the deeds you did at first; or else I am coming to you and will remove your
(K)lampstand out of its place–unless you repent.

6′Yet this you do have, that you hate the deeds of the (L)Nicolaitans, which I also hate.

7′(M)He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches (N)To him who overcomes, I will grant to eat of (O)the tree of life which is in the (P)Paradise of God.’

34″A (A)new commandment I give to you, (B)that you love one another, (C)even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.

35″(D)By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.

11(A)For this is the message (B)which you have heard from the beginning,
(C)that we should love one another;

12not as (D)Cain, who was of (E)the evil one and slew his brother And for what reason did he slay him? Because (F)his deeds were evil, and his brother’s were

17But (O)whoever has the world’s goods, and sees his brother in need and (P)closes his heart against him, (Q)how does the love of God abide in him?

Lest anyone be mistaken, it’s PARAMOUNT to make certain that what we believe lines up with what the Lord believes, as failing to do so ends up creating danger for us all:

1 Timothy 4:16

16Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.

However, As necessary the battle is for to maintain sound teaching & moral/doctrinal
purity…..it’s very easy to forget that in the battle , it’s possible to lose a charitable spirit:

Philippians 4:5

5 Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

Prolonged conflict can weaken or destroy patience & affection that’s to define
us:

Ephesians 4

Unity of the Spirit
1Therefore I, (A)the prisoner of the Lord, (B)implore you to (C)walk in a
manner worthy of the (D)calling with which you have been (E)called,

2with all (F)humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another (G)in love,

Colossians 3:12-14

12So, as those who have been (A)chosen of God, holy and beloved, (B)put on a
(C)heart of compassion, kindness, (D)humility, gentleness and (E)patience;

13(F)bearing with one another, and (G)forgiving each other, whoever has a
complaint against anyone; (H)just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you.

14Beyond all these things put on love, which is (I)the perfect bond of
(J)unity.

Once we lose those traits that have been listed above, it seems that one inevitably ends up walking down a dark path much like OLD ANTONY did……that’s DANGEROUS to our work 4 God.

I’ve witnessed many saints/churches that started out good, but then fell into mess later when they lost the humility that was to define them & began to think they were above criticism because of all the good they were either doing or seeking to accomplish….

If there were issues in their own lives that needed to be adressed, they’d simply mask it by pointing to the errors of others & using the Word of God like a toy, weilding it to support whatever agenda they had (as OLD ANthnony did). Doing so was essentially pride, for they believed that they were above reproach/correction (or at least to the degree that they were only willing to admit error where they were COMFORTABLE admitting it)……and that sin of pride was all that was needed to open the door for a host of other sins that were never expected to occur, from sexual immorality to lying to manipulation, etc.

As John Bunyan once said, “SINS NEVER TRAVEL ALONE…..”…& the sins I say yes too because they seem less OBVIOUS/DEADLY (i.e. pride, self-righteousness, haughitness) are the same ones that’ll open the door to all of the others I didn’t want. Old Antony & various other ministries that have done the same are living proof of this.

THAT’S scary, & moreover ESPECIALLY seeing that the Word makes clear that worldliness is not a mere thing of EXTERNAL ACTIONS/attitudes, but OF INNER ONES AS as well. I can have all the correct theological knowledge IN THE WORLD & BE POINTING OUT CRUCIAL ERRORS in the LIVES OF OTHERS… but still be worldly at heart/still in DANGER of mess, especially seeing that PRIDE/FOCUSING on exalitng oneself iNstead of building others up OR exalting the Lord is a WORLDLY Attitude & listed among the things that are evidence of one not truly being connected with the Lord. One could be giving the appearance that they’re against the things of the world & yet still be worldy at heart.

EVERYTHING WE DO MUST BE DONE IN LOVE/WITH THE MOTIVE OF BUILDING UP THE SAINTS….or else the Work we do for God will be
torn down/not last.

And even when it seems that good is coming about from our actions, if our motives are dark, they’ll manifest/rise to the surface at SOME POINT…..& it’ll be an UGLY SIGHT, just like OLD ANTONY’s was.

Luke 12

Warnings and Encouragements

1Meanwhile, when a crowd of many thousands had gathered, so that they were trampling on one another, Jesus began to speak first to his disciples, saying: “Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.

2There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. 3What you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the roofs.

Pray other saints keep this in mind, & that we remain ALERT OURSELVES regarding our own motives/attitudes when it comes to exposing error or dealing with ANY KIND OF MINISTRY…….lest we repeat what OLD Antony has done somehow:

15Such “wisdom” does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, of the devil.

You mean the initial blog post? I wrote that.

Basically I write all the blog posts unless otherwise noted.

Honestly, what really irks me about the Trinity Foundation, is that they have an unmarried man in leadership who is very sexually immoral. Ole claims to desire to be like the early Christian church, but scripture shows that God had Paul stand vehemently against sexual immorality AND instruct that old covenant observances were not going to save anyone. And they're not going to place you closer to God either. When you have a single man in leadership who is simply "dating" women, you're asking for trouble.

It's like some groups claim "the church leaders should be men" and leave it at that. They don't seem to read any of the other words in 1 Timothy 3 or Titus 1. All some man needs to do is claim he's got revelation and it's like all the other qualifications are forsaken. God had Paul write those qualifications for a reason. Because a well established man of good reputation who has lead in successfully raising a family is best suited for leading in God's house.

God had Paul note the "great mystery" of Christ and the Church in terms of marriage, Ephesians 5:22-33.

Having single men who are running around "dating" in leadership is like begging for trouble.
