great post. hello healtheland. I from college in the early seventies (way before hip hop)there was nothing gangster about her style, just pure stand up poetry. i’m emailing the link to my son in college

As someone here who represents the younger generation (Generation Y) I must say that I viewed this video when it was first available and my reaction to this was a huge WOW and PRAISE THE LORD! I couldn’t believe that someone actually found the words expressing the concern so many of us have the way this gal did. It’s brilliant! So many of us desire to sound the alarm and yell from the rooftops of the true Christ and holiness. We want to tell carnal and material Christians that being lukewarm regarding salvation is not an option (Revelation 2:16), that Christ is not “playin’ “with us and that we must take the matter of salvation seriously and if not we lose our light - period.
But many don’t care to hear it. Their love for material possessions and worldly stature has completely seared their ears shut or they lash out against us and ridicule us of our age. But that has not stopped us. Both my husband and I – yes we, the younger generation know how to do it right – have been kicked out of places, talked about, cussed out, lied on, etc. because we (especially hubby) do not hold back on telling the truth. I’m sure everyone can resonate with the struggle and resistance of those who harden their hearts to the gospel. But I’ve come up with a solution that works most of the time but not always, just greet them with two holy kisses instead of one - LOL.
