Hi, this is Lori. I am the one that wrote the information about Steve Munsey. And by the way in regards to his hair,,,,it was dark brown and turning gray and very short when I went to his church. I wrote this info because I was so frustrated with TBN and Lesea Broadcasting for supporting this horrible man and I felt I had nowhere to go to inform people of this man. I live in the South Bend area of Indiana and Munsey’s church is about 60 miles from me and no Ministry even in this area., would ever have Munsey to their church. Everyone around this area knows he is a money grabbing false teacher,,I won’t even call him a false prophet for I will not label him prophet in anyway, even if it is false. It breaks my heart that he is pulling the wool over so many eyes. If I was him,,I would be scared to death when he faces his judgement one day. I was so glad to see this site and someone else that knows of his phoniness. And now suppose to go to Austraila? Since I heard that I have already been praying for the people in Austraila to have their eyes and heart and mind open to the Word of God and not believe this unsacred man. God have Mercy on all of those that he has and will continue to fool. But as for me,,,I am not a fool and I will continue on, letting all who will listen to me about this deceiving controlling man. May God Bless all of the people here that have commented on this man and Grace and Mercy over you and yours.

Good grief…………Munsey is a mercenary pimp. Pimpasaurus Rex, King of the Lizards.

I actually both anticipate and dread his appearances. I think, “What wacky lie will he pull directly from his anus THIS year?? How much CAN one man sweat and still remain upright?? How does that yellow cat on his head stay asleep with all that screaming??”

I slogged through that Munsey video too. At one point he said, “If ya get a busy signal-ah, that means God’s talkin’-ah. That means God’s talking to somebody else-ah!” Because, you know, God can’t talk to more than one person at a time. What a crock! What, God’s gonna interrupt your prayer and say, “Hey, I’d love to help you out, but I got a guy in Boise, needs a word right about now. Can ya hold?”

I had to watch the video, as the name was not registering with me. One glance, and I knew it was one of satan’s minions that I pass while channel surfing.

I was saddened, but not surprised, to read of Lori’s testimony concerning this imp, and it is quite clear that they no longer even try to hide their agendas of deception.

Now, I even went back and checked out the footage on Eddie, and that threw me for a loop. I knew he was a crook from way back, but this episode on TBN is one that I’m going to send to my family members that cannot seemingly see through his charade. I now charge them because they are old and wise enough to know better, but yet they sit there, Sunday after Sunday, expecting Eddie to teach them the truth of God’s Word, and apparently, to be seen of men. That’s all I can imagine since their fruit reveals little else.

Lord help!

In those other posts he’s claiming the Holy Spirit is in his midst and that giving money will invoke certain results from the spiritual realm. Even that bears false witness on the Holy Spirit. He claims the Holy Spirit is telling him things like a “double portion” is to come to those who give money. Right there he’s speaking for God, he’s speaking as if the Holy Spirit tells him things regarding donations that are untrue.

You should avoid Steve Munsey and warn all others you can to do the same.

I have checked the other posts, and totally agree with you. Lori’s post is a little different as it’s not about money but the greater deception of supposedly speaking for the Holy Spirit – this I find so disturbing when the trend in charismatic churches is the constant demand for a “word” from the “esteemed” brother from the pentecostal circuit (circus).

newport - Just have a look at these other posts I've made previously of Munsey's game in action. They include video footage. One even has a link to another site that has been exposing Munsey FOR YEARS. That should help you realize, even if Lori made her entire story up, you should avoid Munsey. But given his ways I can't say I doubt Lori.

Can this be confirmed as Steve Munsey is coming to a conference at our 2008 conference here in Australia. The sort of nonsense he promotes doesn’t go well here – most Australians would laugh him of the “stage” (can’t call it a pulpit!)He did an evening service here early this year and I think everyone was so dumbstruck it was perceived as approval – I wold love to be able to prove this story to senior pastors.
