Our primary purpose is not evangelism in/of itself... Our primary purpose is to GLORIFY GOD. When Christians make the mistake of being all about evangelism just to "SAVE SOUL" (a noble motivation) instead of being all about evangelism to "GLORIFY GOD" we miss the point. When we miss this, we neglect the need for "holiness" in the Church. When were only concerned about "getting people saved," and not really concerned chiefly "GLORIFYING GOD..." then people come into the Church and quickly become false converts. Holiness isnt taught OR applied in the congregations lifstyles, the leaders are not Biblically enforcing Gods Law, and new converts quickly become apart of congregations where the leaders dont really care if theyre sinning or not. The leaders preach about sin, but (DO) absolutely nothing about it!!! They preach sin like its a monthly "check in the checkbox" but arent doing anything about what there professing from the pulpit. Why? Because were not concrened about accurately teaching Scripture, "living out" the truths in Scripture, Church discipline against sinning members The new converts are suffering from sins and not growing in the Truth, but the church leaders are concrened about "DEDICATING THEIR NEW BUILDING W/O A MORTGAGE." These people confess Christ and come into a Church that put much much emphasis on expansion rather than teaching holiness or living holy, and the people dont bear the fruit of repentance because the church is sacrificing their members Biblical growth for PHYSICAL EXPANSION.
