Michael Vick Confesses to Man and Christ. If He’s Sincere He’s Made the Best Play of His Life!

by @ 4:03 pm. Filed under The Truth Shall Set you Free!

If Michael Vick killed 100 animals, guess what. Zero of those animals has a soul that the Lord Jesus died on the cross for. Jesus died and was raised from the dead to save the sins of human beings including Michale Vick. I’ve already said that under man’s law Vick should do time and I would not mind if he receives the maximum sentence under the guidelines of his plea agreement. But Vick says he’s accepted the Lord Jesus. If true, his sins are forgiven and he will spend eternity in Heaven with the Lord, no matter how deep anyone wants to cast him into hell.

John 3:16-21 (New King James Version)

16) For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

17) For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

18) ?He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

19) And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

20) For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.

21) But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.?

By no other name can a man be saved! Only by true faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Via La Shawn Barber, I found this text article and the video below that was posted on HotAir.

Vick finds Jesus
Hopefully for Vick’s own sake his words are sincere.

The bottom line is that if Vick is telling the truth, it will show because he will honestly move to change his ways for the better.

I’m sure Michael Vick’s grandfather is happy to hear this news, that his grandson wants to turn his life around. Watch the video of an interview with Vick’s grandfather here. I think that was a most interesting interview. And if Vick’s grandfather does not know the Lord Jesus Christ, maybe this will help him see the truth. His grandfather does sound like a man who knew Vick was headed for trouble.

If Vick’s statements are true and he was called to the Lord, he will have faith enough to do the will of the Lord.

James 2:14-26 (New King James Version)

14) What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him?

15) If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food,

16) and one of you says to them, ?Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,? but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit?

17) Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

18) But someone will say, ?You have faith, and I have works.? Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.

19) You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe?and tremble!

20) But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?

21) Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar?

22) Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect?

23) And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, ?Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.?And he was called the friend of God.

24) You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.

25) Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way?

26) For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Pray Vick is sincere and does not get mixed up with any of the pulpit pimps, because if he gets mixed up with any of these folks he could end up in even WORSE shape.

Someone telling the truth to Lakewood Church and trying to help them.

Preaching outside Joel Osteen’s Lakewood Church in Houston

Obviously they prefer the false doctrine of Joel Osteen, but the brother on that corner did a good work in trying to help them.

Reuben Armstrong Does a Flip-Flop and Sues Streaming-no-Faith. Previously He Said it was “Best” for the “Business Relationship” to “End”.

by @ 11:09 am. Filed under Questionable Items

Gotta be honest, many of us were suspecting although not saying it loudly, that Mr. Armstrong might be a little bit of a sensationalist. A bit into getting his name out there. Although I want saints to be aware of pulpit pimps, it seems Mr. Armstrong is hurting the integrity of his own efforts.

If you recall in this previous post I included a mailing from Armstrong, where he said the following about being dumped from Streaming-no-faith.

Armstrong said that the conversation went well with both parties. Streaming Faith and Armstrong were able to make a mutual agreement: Since Streaming Faith is a religious based business and most of the ministries that are on Streaming Faith are defrauding and deceiving believers and non-believers, it would best that their business relationship ends. Armstrong wants to thank Streaming Faith for their support and understanding and all of his viewers that watched the show.

You would think he was thanking God he would be separated from the wolves.

Now he has gone from feeling the separation from Streaming-no-Faith was a good idea and mutual agreement, to filing a lawsuit. I just got a mailing from Armstrong which notes the following:

National Talk Show host Reuben Armstrong files multi million dollar law suit against Streaming Faith for Racial Discrimination and Breach of Contract

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVQGChHNxRE

(Dallas, TX) August 27th 2007 The Reuben Armstrong Show was dumped by Streaming Faith at the beginning of August 2007 because of a controversial book, Snakes in the Pulpit. The book exposes the alleged lies and deception of four megapastors, Bishop Eddie Long, TD Jakes, Joel Osteen and Creflo Dollar. Armstrong and his Attorney will be filing a multi million dollar law suit against Streaming Faith and its parent company Multicast Media Technologies.

According to a press conference that was held Armstrong said “Streaming Faith had no reasons to dump my show because of a book that exposes these so- called men of God. The contract clearly states that either party must give a 90 day written cancellation notice, and Streaming Faith failed to abide by their own contact.” Armstrong also went on to mention that he felt as though he was discriminated against because of his race.

Armstrong who is the author of Snakes in the Pulpit said “the book was due to be released August 29th 2007, but due to the concerns I am having with Streaming Faith, I have decided to postpone the release date to September 18th 2007. This decision is not one that I entered into lightly; I am deeply upset and disappointed by it.”

Armstrong said “these four pastors Bishop TD Jakes, Joel Osteen, Eddie Long and Creflo Dollar are twisting scriptures and taking them out of context for fame and fortune and they will be exposed.”

When asking Armstrong about Juanita Bynum he responded and said “I pray that the pimptress, Mrs. Bynum-Weeks, is doing well, but I have to admit that this comes as no surprise to me. When you are playing with God’s people, you need to understand that you are walking a thin line.”

Armstrong book which was schedule to be release August 29th has been rescheduled to September 18th 2007. All Books can be pre-ordered on www.snakesinthepulpit.com

What happened to feeling the separation was for the best?

I can only say that I pray Armstrong reconsiders and takes the more saintly approach:

Matthew 5:43-48 (New King James Version)

43 ?You have heard that it was said, ?You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.?

44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,

45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

46 For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?

47 And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so?

48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

If Reuben Armstrong had never said what he stated in his previous press release, I probably would have never made this post, or if I made this post it might be slightly more supportive of Armstrong. However, not only is Armstrong taking the road that is less saintly, his actions conflict with his own previous words.

I’m removing myself from his mailing list, so this will probably be my last post about Reuben Armstrong unless something changes.

I considered going to Armstrong in private about this and not making a post, but honestly since this is all playing out in public and there is really a play for book sales involved, I felt it best to speak openly. If you feel I’m wrong in my approach, please let me know. I never wanted to have to post this, but you need to know the truth and he’s been open about his actions, so I don’t feel bad commenting in the open about them.

I know, I know….

by @ 10:55 am. Filed under Nuts on Parade

I know Randy and Paula White are divorcing. A detailed post is forthcoming.

Hey folks, the bottom line is that the prosperity doctrine talk is garbage and the evidence is clear.

Also, you who have been trying to reach Melvin’s blog Pulpit-Pimps.org, know the site has been hard to reach the past couple days. Melvin assures me that it is being worked on. Basically, all of us who had old posts and even new ones about Bynum and Weeks are being SLAMMED with traffic, the likes of which we have NEVER seen before. People are wondering how a couple they THOUGHT was so “holy” has fallen like this. Thankfully the Lord has willed by His own design that this blog has been able to remain online. It had a short hiccup once, but otherwise has remained up. And if not for the Lord willing many of us to spend time at Pulpit-Pimps.org we would not know how terrible the false doctrine has been and still is. So as the Lord wills, we will remain happy and content, because we’re not under the delusion of false doctrines. We thank Him in all things, no matter if a web server is up or down. All the web sites with copies of the Bible are up and running, so spend time there ;) .

The prosperity doctrine is a lie, study scripture and embrace Christ centered preaching instead. If you want to remain with the lie, go get yourself fleeced at IGOC 2007.

Prosperity Pimps Setting up Sheeple for the Big Fleece! IGOC 2007 Brings Pimps and Money Changers Together Under One Roof.

by @ 9:27 pm. Filed under Nuts on Parade

I want you to consider these scriptures:

Jesus tossing the money changers out of the temple:

John 2:13-22 (New King James Version)

13) Now the Passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

14) And He found in the temple those who sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers doing business.

15) When He had made a whip of cords, He drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen, and poured out the changers? money and overturned the tables.

16) And He said to those who sold doves, ?Take these things away! Do not make My Father?s house a house of merchandise!?

17) Then His disciples remembered that it was written, ?Zeal for Your house has eaten Me up.?

18) So the Jews answered and said to Him, ?What sign do You show to us, since You do these things??

19) Jesus answered and said to them, ?Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.?

20) Then the Jews said, ?It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days??

21) But He was speaking of the temple of His body.

22) Therefore, when He had risen from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this to them; and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had said.

Now, we who believe on the Lord Jesus, the saints are the body of Christ. With the Lord Jesus Christ as the head we follow. The temple is the body of Christ, the saints, the church. See: 1 Corinthians 3:16 and Hebrews 9:11-15.

The apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ named Paul, proclaiming that he and those with him DO NOT peddle the word of God, that was given to them freely. They did not make merchandise of the truth they freely received.

2 Corinthians 2:17 (New King James Version)

17 For we are not, as so many, peddling the word of God; but as of sincerity, but as from God, we speak in the sight of God in Christ.

The Lord Jesus Christ notes that we should not worry about earthly gain.

Matthew 6:25-34 (New King James Version)

25) ?Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?

26) Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?

27) Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

28) ?So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin;

29) and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

30) Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

31) ?Therefore do not worry, saying, ?What shall we eat?? or ?What shall we drink?? or ?What shall we wear??

32) For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.

33) But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

34) Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Christ made it clear that we are to seek heavenly rewards, the “money bags which do not grow old” noted in Luke 12:29-34.

Now knowing the truth that is clear in scripture, read the following article and Lord willing, the problems with the mentioned event will be obvious to you.

International Gathering of Champions Expects 160,000

Thousands of people will gather in East London this month to attend one of the biggest Christian events of the year

Hosted by Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC), the International Gathering of Champions (IGOC) will take place at the church?s head quarters in Hackney.

This year?s Conference, entitled ?The Heavens Opened?, will focus on the potential each person has to achieve success in their family, career, finances and personal lives.

Host Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo says: ?We are excited about IGOC 2007 and we believe God will make it memorable as we experience good changes in our lives and our circumstances.

The eight-day conference will bring together speakers from all across the globe, including Bishop Eddie Long, Dr Cindy Trimm, Dr Mike Murdock, Pastor Robb Thompson, Dr Marcus Lamb, Dr Bill Winston and Pastor Jamal Bryant all hailing from the US. Also featuring in the conference this year will be renowned Gospel artists Pastor Donnie McClurkin, Minister Israel Houghton, KICC Mass Choir, Minister Byron Cage and Judy Bailey.

The conference will also feature an impressive exhibition area with over 130 exhibitors, including many of the leading Christian services and product retailers all under one roof.

Notice, big names, merchandise for sale, no mention of Christ. And that article was from the publication “Christian Today”, so the report is not from an outlet that claims a secular title. If the meeting had a focus on the truth of Christ instead of money and wealth, I’m sure it would have been appropriately noted. Most of the people attending are from the Western world, the wealthiest nations on earth. Looking for improved lives? Excuse me, but the speakers and attendees are FAR from wondering where their next meal will come from.

Consider how saints in dire circumstance received relief:

Hebrews 10:36-39 (New King James Version)

36) For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise:
37) ? For yet a little while,
And He who is coming will come and will not tarry.
38) Now the just shall live by faith;
But if anyone draws back,
My soul has no pleasure in him.?

39) But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.

Notice, the promise of the coming of the Lord and hope in their souls being saved.

I won’t say anymore. I can only pray that the Lord has opened eyes and hearts to the truth presented here. Those the Lord has opened the heart of will receive it. Those with hardened hearts…well I guess you’ll either attend or hope to attend IGOC 2007.
