It is very much correct that Oral Roberts University is a mess, but Christianity and University are not at all a dichotomy. Paul spent time teaching at a school in his day.

Acts 19:9 (New American Standard Bible)

9 But when some were becoming hardened and disobedient, speaking evil of the Way before the people, he withdrew from them and took away the disciples, reasoning daily in the school of Tyrannus.

And there is nothing in scripture, that forbids the establishment and maintenance of a university which teaches sound Christian doctrine. The issue with Oral Roberts University, is that the teaching is of strange doctrines. Which is why false teachers such as Fred Price receive honorary degrees from there.

Good we agree the prosperity doctrine is not the true gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Well, don’t You all get it?
This whole thing is about money, fame and power.
It all starts from the Top.
Firstly, the Main Man, [and i mean man] was a rebel of his teachers, and had to separate.
Secondly, nothing really happened, until they made into a Religion for non-Jews, and got Constantine to accept it as the official Religion of Rome.
Then We know who the Romans were. There were Pagans, that stole everything from the Greeks, including Religion, language, and spoils, thought, etc.
So the Church has been intimately connected to the Royalty, in Rome, later in Europe, and England.
Anyone been down in the Vatican vaults to see what they have stored there? [There have been a few, known to have gotten some access].
In our more modern times, of greater deception, and hidden elements, it is no wonder that it takes the form it does today with these evangelical, pulpit priests, ministers, etc. There is a well developed school, by one of the greats, Oral Roberts, into a University. Well, isn’t that a dichotomy of thought, Faith and University?! University is a Greek creation of thought, and well it make sense here since, the Romans took that to, and therefore fitting to this Religion.
If anyone can find someone that actually teaches proper faith, let me know.
And more so, if you can find someone that has real belief in God, let me know, anytime, day or night.

Grantmclaren - Did you read the entire post above AND THE LINKED INFORMATION in full? Frederick K.C. Price and Benny Hinn are every bit as ungodly and dishonest as some you refuse to profile. You see Price as a man in a "chosen field" who is a "very successful businessman". Do you not understand that it is SIN to use the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ for seeking riches? While you're profiling preachers, have you ever read the Bible? In particular 1 Timothy 6? Do realize that Jesus is the ONLY means to salvation and these you claim as honest are selling you a false pack of lies and calling it "Jesus"? I wrote the above article in question and I must say that it was a pleasure and honor to meet/interview Pastor Price. He is not only a very successful businessman in his chosen field but — and this is much rarer — he’s absolutely honest, straightforward and not evil minded like so many other celebr1ty preachers.
Pro Pilot Magazine routinely profiles operators of business jets who astutely deploy these tools to market advantage. We’re careful to screen such operators before profiling them. We would, for instance, not profile a terrorist with a business jet even though he/she used it effectively. For similar reasons we have not and will not profile preachers such as Franklin Graham and Pat Robertson (we have to draw the line somewhere!)
Next on our “Wings of God” editorial agenda will be Pastor Benny Hinn.

I would like to say it is amazing how Jesus, whom is God the Son Himself reduced Himself to having close to nothing on this earth, so that we be lifted up, but the curiosity of riches runs through many of our minds. I’ve seen places like Central Park West, Park Ave, Madison Ave, and a few more places in Manhattan, NYC where the filthy rich live and you would be floored. Christ didn’t want anything to do with the world as Satan tempted Him. Also Christ tells us what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose your soul. I am moved as I typed these words because I look at Price, the jet and then think about what Christ has done for you and me. The Prosperity Gospel has poisoned many minds, sending them on the road to destruction. May God help us.

—Even if the way you used Luke 18:12 was correct, you have only quoted 1 Scripture out of all the thing that you have said.—

InedpendentConservative has quoted Scripture after Scripture. I’m reading them now, and he seems to be very close to accurately interpeting what is said in those Scriptures.

Its not about the quantity of quoted Scripture, its all about properly exegeting passages of Scripture. IndependentConservative has posed some topics your way that you seem unwilling to adress. It is only fair that you adress the issues from Scripture.

I see that you profess to be a Christian. In other instances where you have a difference of opinion with others about Scriptural topics; I urge you to open up the Scriptures and let Scripture interpet itself. You have made a point to say many many words, but you have failed to open the Scriptures and allow the Word of God to speak for itself. Do not use Christian “1-liners”, and “Christian tee-shirt phrases.” Please when you get on sites like this and in your regular conversation,,,,,, Open the Word. Wrongly exegeting and quoting Luke 18:12 just will not do.

Colossians 3:16 – Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly.

ABC News apologized NUMEROUS TIMES at various times and even had John Stossel get on air and apologize. Not good enough for a pimp!

You can sue anyone for most anything. Price sued on the grounds he does not “own” the jet in his name. Does not mean if the judge read this post that he won’t take the fact Price flies in a “church” jet into consideration.
