It was so interesting seeing how false teacher Frederick K.C. Price, a man who claims you are a “god robber” if you don’t pay into a contrived system of collections that he calls “tithes” and he even wrote a book about it, ran off to sue ABC News when they said he had a few things that he says he does not own. One of those items was a “private jet”. Team Price responded by saying that Price does not “own” a private jet. Well when you run a club that you call a “church”, you can do some pretty neat things. Like, having a private jet to fly in, but not actually having it in your own name. Just front it as the “church jet” and suddenly you get to fly in it and always claim you don’t “own” a jet. Fred’s “church” owns a jet, but the jet was purchased FOR HIS (so-called ministry) USE. The ordinary people paying him 10% don’t get to fly in it themselves, but Fred gets use out of it for his pulpit money pimping, oh I mean his “ministry”. The only others who get to fly are the crew and assistants in Price’s game, like the “praise team” type folks that get the crowd pumped up to serve up the loot.
Now I’m sure in the time of the apostles they could have hooked themselves up with some nice accommodations if they simply gave less to the poor. But they gave lots to the poor and lived rather poor lives themselves, giving for the sake of the gospel. While today’s pimps (let’s keep in mind not every pastor is a pimp, but Fred Price is) broadcast their giving, which is only usually a SMALL percentage of what their “churches” take in. Their boasting of charitable deeds is not what the Lord commands. And the pimps live like CEOs to boot! They even claim it’s God’s desire for them to do this, although the actions and lives of the apostles totally contradict their deeds. They sometimes claim the wealth of some old testament figure like King Solomon, never noting that was before Christ established the new covenant and the use for money changed, because Christ desired we seek riches in Heaven, not earth. When Christ saw respected men of the temple with great wealth and binding people with burdens, he denounced them, see Matthew 23. Woe to Frederick K.C. Price!
So back in this other post, I noted that our brother on YouTube bezel333 mentioned Price has a jet. Well Price’s “church” has a jet! I immediately questioned bezel333 about that statement, because I didn’t want Fred’s legal bandits going after him too. Brother bezel333 helped me track down the source of his claim. I got in touch with the folks over at Professional Pilot Magazine. Turns out that in their November 2005 issue, which you can order a copy of for just $10, they did a full story on Price’s “church jet”. I’ll note just a few interesting statements from that article below. I have to be brief though, because I’m not thinking the nice people over at Professional Pilot Magazine want me to post their entire article online.

Fred Price did not “have to” buy a building in New York. But I guess it made good business sense. Why give more to the poor when you can buy a building in New York to call people “god robbers” from? Call me crazy for reading my Bible on my own, but I feel the apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ devoted so much money to poor saints because they saw giving as unto the Lord in what Christ stated in Matthew 25:31-46. While they traveled and lived cheap, not gobbling up buildings for a Religious Industry Empire.
Welcome to the world of mega-churches and celebrity preachers. “Make no mistake about it-this is a business,” says Price. “We have the same needs for corporate jets and productivity tools as any other business.”
…
It’s business people, business. He needs more stuff, because he creates more burdens on his assembly by buying more things to spread his “god robber” message from. Sure there were already plenty of churches in New York City, some good, others bad, but Price figured he had to establish one there with his unique brand of false doctrine. I guess he didn’t feel anybody was spreading false doctrine the way he can. If you read scripture (that would be the Bible folks) you’ll notice that all the saints worked together. The apostles would go help all the churches and seek to fund poor saints in need. They would establish new churches if the people preaching in the area were preaching a false doctrine, otherwise they would work with the people in the area, see Titus 1.
…
Expanding operations to the US east coast, and orchestrating weekly sermons on both sides of the country, would not have been practical without a corporate jet. Today, the 19th-century New York property on Central Park West in Manhattan is well established and runs with its own local pastor. Price and his flight team have been able to cut back the former 2128-nm weekly commute to a once-a-month routine.
…
You’ve got to fly to the money capital of New York City (Manhattan), to make sure your pimp game is running smoothly you know.
…
In 1998, having traveled constantly on airlines for more than 20 years, Price-then 65-was ready to give up on travel. But daughter and CCC Pres Angela Evans, said, “No dad, you can’t retire-you have too much to offer people.”
…
A shame he did not go with his first idea. With the help of his daughter, who he placed in a position of church leadership, he’s the pimp putting a burden on both the East and West Coast saints who fall for his game.
…
“Other aircraft types might have done the job for us,” Price says, “but we got stuck in the Cadillac showroom and we didn’t get any further.”
…
That “Cadillac” flies him to more than just NY too. He also uses it to help him get overseas with his pimp game.
Price says:
“I’m the product of this ministry and a business aircraft both preserves the product and extends the reach of our ministry”
He’s the product? To think I was upset when TD Jakes reduced Jesus Christ, calling Him a “product”.
CCC’s VP of marketing notes that they can only pull off pimp game like this with the help of the most loyal of sheeple, when he says:
…
Michael Evans notes that the 80/20 marketing rule-20% of customers generate 80% of income-applies to the ministry business too, meaning that it’s important to hold on to core clientele.
…
As Trump would say, it’s “business” nothing personal…
Now the pimps put lots of money into jets to spread their lies. But I know a good pastor who suggested a plane that saints could help good Christians purchase, that serves a much better function. Consider real missionary planes, that could help Christian missionaries reach areas that have not heard the gospel of Jesus Christ and saints who actually are in need. People who don’t live in the richest nation on planet earth and really could die of starvation. The company behind the effort to build planes that meet the needs of missionaries is here. If you’re going to help buy a plane, why not buy a plane that really does work to help poor saints and not show piece junkets for a pulpit pimp.
If you want to learn some truth about today’s contrived system of collection called “tithing” you can check out this old post.
update 8/30/2007 9:28AM: I wanted to be sure I mentioned everyone that is allowed on Fred’s “church” jet. I took another look at the magazine article and see in my post above that I forgot to mention some others who get to ride in the jet. In addition to those mentioned in the post above, of course his wife can ride and also the booksellers, the financial staff and the donation collectors get to ride too. I guess that makes good business sense.
update 8/30/2007 10:08AM: I know Team Price has mentioned that Fred has 2 Bentleys and denied he has 7 cars. But it seems once upon a time many sites recorded that he claimed to have a Rolls Royce. What’s up with that?

Isn’t it just like the pimps and drug dealers of the world? They illegally gain lots of money, but they can’t put anything in their own names because the IRS will come first, and then the Law? Is God asleep? We know that He is not!
I guess like the rest of the pimps, he is a self-created man, who serves his creator well.
Thanks for the link to the Quest site!

I believe that his mouth and bragging about his possessions on the airwaves could put him in hot water.

[...] But now, for those of us in Charismaniac Christendom…well, the pendulum has swung so far in the other direction! Now we’re treated to megastar preachers who think there’s nothing wrong with blasting in hundreds of thousands of their ministry’s dollars on private jets, fuel for those jets, plastic surgery, designer clothing, and big houses. [...]

I have come to the conclusion that these Pimps like Price can’t be truly saved. As a person who is saved I am convicted by the Holy Ghost daily. I am cognizant that there is true Christian persecution in the world yet these Pimps if anything hand out only crumbs to the poor persecuted Christians while fatten themselves. What bothers me even more are the lemmings that follow the Pimps who come on sites like this to defend themselves. They never use scripture, they never address persecuted Christians in third worlds, and they never follow up after we give them a rebuttal. Pimps like Price and the others have their flock locked around their fingers. Why? Simple. The sheeple too wish to attain the same level of success and acheivment as the Pimp. No sheeple in their right mind would ever say that they wanted to die for the Gospel. No lemming would ever say they would give their very last to a Christian who has even less. No sycophant would ever wish to be beaten for the sake of the Gospel. the Pimps and the sheeple are equally responsible. In fact, the sheeple probably are excited that they gave money to the Church (so-called) for Price to get his plane. Price is a heretic and an apostate and his flock are man worshipers.

I’ve been having this feeling that I needed to recheck the article for all who get to ride in Fred’s…oh I mean his “church’s” jet. I’ve added an update to the post above at the bottom of it.
August 30th, 2007 at 11:25 am
I’m wondering if his children also get to ride. I believe they all work in the ministry at some capacity
August 30th, 2007 at 2:17 pm
A few things jumped out at me in this post:
1) Los Angeles CA-based Crenshaw Christian Center (CCC) together with its Ever Increasing Faith Ministries (EIFM) has successfully expanded market share over recent years.
Market share? What in the world is that supposed to mean? Does it mean that Freddy has gained more of the ah-NOIN-t’n’ than the other pimps out in the market?
2) Fred Price did not “have to” buy a building in New York. But I guess it made good business sense.
Exactly! When one is called to lead a church, they should minister to that locality, with perhaps a partnering with another church in another city. When Timothy was made the pastor of the church at Ephesus, I doubt God called him to set up and run another church in Corinth.
Besides, does Freddy necessarily have to be IN New York City? With all the cash CCC has, couldn’t they do some kind of long-distance video set up? Which brings me to…
3) Today, the 19th-century New York property on Central Park West in Manhattan is well established and runs with its own local pastor.
Yeah, you’re right IC. Gotta go where the money is. Notice he didn’t set up shop in Bedford-Stuy. He set up on one of the priciest pieces of real estate in NYC.
4) “Other aircraft types might have done the job for us,” Price says, “but we got stuck in the Cadillac showroom and we didn’t get any further.”
Yeah, he heard that Cadillac calling his name. It’s where the Lawd led him. He can’t be seen flying some less expensive model. I mean, God doesn’t want people thinking He can’t afford the good stuff!
5) CCC’s VP of marketing notes that they can only pull off pimp game like this with the help of the most loyal of sheeple, when he says:
VP OF MARKETING???? What was it Paul wrote in 2nd Corinthians 2:17? I guess Freddy just kinda skipped over that verse.

Satan is slick. Christianity has the most believers the world over, so Satan creates division inside of the church with denominations, different doctrines, many times which come from a man’s mind. Many people speak things in the Name of Jesus but rarely provide evidence to back it up. If you heart isn’t right, you can take scripture and make it mean whatever you want it to mean. You all are against Fred Price, because he believes different than you. You don’t believe in tithes and offerings, yet it’s in the Bible, old and new testament (Luke 18:12) You constantly berate, but rarely uplift. You have your own slang (pulpit pimp, sheeple). You obviously think that Jesus was poor when the man had been a carpenter, I guess giving away everything that he built for free.
I honestly don’t know where you get your information from concerning the church jet and “who gets to ride on it -wheeeeeee!” as if that were important. Apparently members of the church should be shuttled around to wherever they want to go whenever they want to go for free. And how many people do you think fit on the thing? These aren’t vacations. Everyone who flies in that jet, works when they get off of it. Now if he ever needs to use it for personal use, then guess what he has to do, CHARTER IT!. Can you imagine that? Why would Dr. Price have to charter and pay charter fees, to fly on the jet if it’s already his? Because it isn’t. And apparently you don’t attend the church or listen to him much, you just hear what you want to hear, mostly messages out of context. Because if you did attend, then you would have heard him say that any member can use the jet, so long as it doesn’t conflict with the Church flight schedule and that they pay the same charter fees, which average 20-25,000 one way.
God bless all of you, if you believe that Jesus died for our sins, and that he rose again so that we may all be saved then we’ll see you in heaven and everything will be made clear then. Until such time, be mindful how you spend your time. Be careful to use too much of it pointing and accusing and saying what you should be doing. Because if you spend all your time, or all of your visual efforts seem to be in pointing, accusing and bashing then you obviously can’t be doing what you claim others should be doing, which is seeking a saving the lost.
August 30th, 2007 at 3:44 pm
Oh sympathetic one. Fred Price does not believe in the redemptive power of Jesus Christ. He believes in some person who he thinks suffered in hell for redemption of sins. Fred does not believe the message of the shed blood of Jesus saving us AT THE CROSS.
Read the heresy from the mouth of your false teacher.
No, he and those who believe him won’t be in Heaven because he’s following another Jesus.
August 30th, 2007 at 4:43 pm
Now sympathetic one, since we’ve established that Fred Price is a heretic and preaches a false gospel of another Jesus.
It is Price who is doing what you claim in bringing division. He’s taking people to a false gospel.
Regarding Luke 18:12, those are the words of a man who refused to give up his great wealth when the Lord told him to do so. Not the role model for faith in Christ. Also, Jesus while on earth in flesh, lived under the Mosaic laws of the old covenant. The new covenant began with the resurrection of Christ, which completed the work for our salvation and having access to the gift of eternal life. The true “life more abundantly”, that Price can’t rightly divide because he’s not following the true Lord Jesus Christ. Given Luke 18:12 occurred under the old covenant, of course tithing was still being carried out. It was about the only thing Jesus found the Pharisees doing better than requested. But the tithing spoken of in scripture is not the contrived system of collections you take part in. In the new covenant scriptures no church engaged in telling people to give 10% of money. No apostle told any church to do any such thing. When Peter and Paul spoke to Gentiles who knew nothing of old Jewish customs, never did they mandate a tithe. Messianic Jews (Jews who follow Christ) do not tithe. And those into Judaism and denying Christ don’t even tithe. The old priesthood is gone. All true Christian saints are part of a new royal priesthood, with Christ as our High Priest, read the book of Hebrews from start to finish.
I would not have to offer so many warnings and corrections if people like yourself stopped supporting false teachers.
For what people paid to help fund that jet, they should get a free ride with Price to NYC on request. They can claim to be part of the team working for Price’s “business”. (Think of them as business investors going for a business trip
.) So I maintain that ordinary folks paying him money can’t ride. You just don’t know how silly it is to even mention private chartering at $20K-$25K one way.
My details about the jet come from a well respected aviation magazine and I noted my source.
Jesus was not living the life of a rich man, which is why Mary and Joseph were exempt from paying tithes. Oh but you probably didn’t know anything about that. They didn’t have much, they didn’t have land and animals to tithe from. Read 1 Corinthians 4 to see how Jesus and the apostles lived once engaging in ministry and note the words “I urge you, imitate me”. Jesus could not afford a tomb to have his body laid in after crucifixion.
Fred Price preaches a false gospel and lies to you.
August 30th, 2007 at 5:35 pm
LOL this is your site. You can say and do whatever you wish. I love how you speak with such assurance. And you should if its what you truly believe, but it does by no means make it fact; only your viewpoint. And there will be those that agree with you. Probably the very same that post comments in support of your opinions and interpretation.
This statement here is hilarious.
“Now sympathetic one, since we’ve established that Fred Price is a heretic and preaches a false gospel of another Jesus.”
This is all you and does not come from the Lord or the Word of God. But I will not put you down or make any more efforts to do so because it is not productive. Dr. Price will continue to seek and save the lost, and continue to give into the Kingdom of God. A few months ago he let his congregation know that since either 99 or 2000 that he and his wife have sewn over 6 million into the Kingdom of God, which typically is good ground. So when you so seed into good ground, because of the laws that are already in place you can EXPECT a harvest. And that is what God has done for he, his wife and his family. Again, if you want to believe that God kills instead of allowing people to be killed, or that God doesn’t want you to be healthy or healed of your sickness, or that Jesus the Carpenter for at least 10 years was poor doing his time of teaching, and his disciples, men who owned businesses and had servants were also poor and lived humbly, and that Jesus merely died on the cross for our sins and that the resurrection has nothing to do with that then fine. There is nothing I can do to try to convince you otherwise. And why would I. People are going to believe what the want. Many will believe blindly. Few will actually open up there eyes, see for themselves and find out the truth. Hopefully one day, that will be you.
God bless you.

Price is not a doctor. All he earned on his own is an AA degree, all others are “honorary”. He was GIVEN HE DID NOT EARN a degree in 1976 from Rhema Bible Training Center and then in 1982 he was GIVEN HE DID NOT EARN an honorary Doctorate of Divinity Degree from Oral Roberts University. Oral Roberts, another spreader of false doctrines. Birds of a feather. And Roberts even went around babbling as if he was “speaking in tongues”. How many unbelievers of another language did Roberts speak to via his supposed “gift of tongues” in their native language? ZERO!
Price is not a doctor, he’s misleading people and works for the wrong father, proven by his mis-teachings, he’s a poser and a false teacher, 2 Corinthians 11:13-15.
Notice you repeat the lauding Price has advertised to you of his supposedly charitable deeds. He has already received his reward in your cheers.
When a pimp spreads false doctrine he can EXPECT somebody to fall for it and give him their money. That is ALL that Fred Price has done.
I and all true Christians beleive and know Christ died for our sins and was resurrected, as we one day will also be resurrected. Your false teacher Fred Price lies and claim the Lord was tortured in hell, which is not true. Jesus is God in flesh and One with the Father, Satan can’t lay a glove on Him. Scripture makes it clear that Jesus ministered in hell, no torture or being dragged there against His will, 1 Peter 3:18-22.
A friend passed me a write-up that might help you: John Calvin on the “Prosperity Gospel”. No you are not guaranteed health and success in this life. You receive as the Lord wills and have no promise of earthly gain:
James 4:13-17 (New King James Version)
Your false teacher boasting he’s entitled to some earthly gain is “evil”.
August 30th, 2007 at 7:07 pm
You are a vicious dog looking for people to bite. Everything that Dr. Price says he backs up with Word. All you need to do is listen, and then review for yourself. Enjoy your evening.
August 30th, 2007 at 8:03 pm
Sympathetic one, I know you think you’re dealing with a half cocked rookie when it comes to your pimp, but I’m very familiar with him and his game.
Regarding his use of scripture, that’s why I find him to be a false teacher, because he destroys all meaning of scripture he references and tries to make the words mean things they do not. And not only myself, but another brother did a review of one of your pimp’s so-called sermons and found out just like I have that your pimp is a liar who maligns the word of God.
You need to flee that man. He does not represent the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Price is spoken of in 2 Peter 2.
You have been told the truth and now it rests on your head. You will be held accountable for it.
August 31st, 2007 at 2:44 am
Dear Pathetic4u,
Why don’t you give money to Christian organizations that print Bibles for persecuted Chinese Christians. Or how about you give money to persecuted Christians in Dafur who are getting thier heads cut off by Muslims. NOPE! You want to give “seed” so you can get get get. Pathetic4u I’m sure you babble in tongues and flop on the floor when someone lays hands on you. I’m also sure you think your going to get a Holy Ghost blessing seeing that Jesus is your slave who just wants to lavish you with all material wants and needs just like the Pimps claim. I’m sure you also think your a little god. Why don’t you read your Bible and recognize the truth and stop following Satan you apostate.

IC, I believe that I am seeing what this lawsuit is all about. Although Price possess many things that he brags about on tv, ABC needed proof that these items were in his name and since ABC couldn’t prove it, then that gave Price the opportunity to sue them. Also ABC apologized. Is that correct? To add, I can witness that there are plenty of churches in NYC for I resided there for forty years.
August 31st, 2007 at 4:58 pm
ABC News apologized NUMEROUS TIMES at various times and even had John Stossel get on air and apologize. Not good enough for a pimp!
You can sue anyone for most anything. Price sued on the grounds he does not “own” the jet in his name. Does not mean if the judge read this post that he won’t take the fact Price flies in a “church” jet into consideration.
September 2nd, 2007 at 2:07 pm
Dear Sympathetic,
I see that you profess to be a Christian. In other instances where you have a difference of opinion with others about Scriptural topics; I urge you to open up the Scriptures and let Scripture interpet itself. You have made a point to say many many words, but you have failed to open the Scriptures and allow the Word of God to speak for itself. Do not use Christian “1-liners”, and “Christian tee-shirt phrases.” Please when you get on sites like this and in your regular conversation,,,,,, Open the Word. Wrongly exegeting and quoting Luke 18:12 just will not do.
Colossians 3:16 - Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly.
—-Just one of many verses that prove my point from Scripture.——–
September 2nd, 2007 at 2:28 pm
Dear Sympathetic
—–This is not to disrespect you in any manner—–
I am merely “coming alongside” and trying to help you.
–You have quoted a grand total of 1 Scripture on this post.–
—Even if the way you used Luke 18:12 was correct, you have only quoted 1 Scripture out of all the thing that you have said.—
InedpendentConservative has quoted Scripture after Scripture. I’m reading them now, and he seems to be very close to accurately interpeting what is said in those Scriptures.
Its not about the quantity of quoted Scripture, its all about properly exegeting passages of Scripture. IndependentConservative has posed some topics your way that you seem unwilling to adress. It is only fair that you adress the issues from Scripture.
hint. hint. hint—- Allow Scripture to defend itself, and not your logical reason…..human reason is flawed.—- hint. hint. hint
Isaiah 40:8- The Grass withers, flowers fade, But the Word of our God stand
forever.

I would like to say it is amazing how Jesus, whom is God the Son Himself reduced Himself to having close to nothing on this earth, so that we be lifted up, but the curiosity of riches runs through many of our minds. I’ve seen places like Central Park West, Park Ave, Madison Ave, and a few more places in Manhattan, NYC where the filthy rich live and you would be floored. Christ didn’t want anything to do with the world as Satan tempted Him. Also Christ tells us what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose your soul. I am moved as I typed these words because I look at Price, the jet and then think about what Christ has done for you and me. The Prosperity Gospel has poisoned many minds, sending them on the road to destruction. May God help us.
