It seems while pimp Frederick K.C. Price claims not to have a helicopter, according to our brother on YouTube bezel333, he does fly around in a private jet. Not the best private jet, but still valued at over a million dollars just the same.
Anyway, bezel333 decided to analyze a message by Frederick K.C. Price. And wouldn’t you know it, when you can rightfully divide scripture you see clearly how Fred Price abuses it. Check out the video below.
Price lies and calls those who don’t pay 10% gross income to what he calls a “church” a “god robber”, Price lies. I mean he LIES. Another good brother, Dr. Russell Earl Kelly wanted me to inform you of his site ShouldTheChurchTeachTithing.com. He did his Ph. D. work on the subject and I’m sure you’ll find some value in his findings. Although he offers some things for sale there, he’s got all the information on that site for free reading.
Learn the truth and learn how to give according to new covenant teaching. As the Lord leads you, not a man who claims you are a “god robber”.
The pimps always claim they want you to be rich so you can help others. Well, I found I was much more able to help others once I stopped giving liars 10%!
Pray for all who are lost in strong delusion. And remember to help the poor, poor saints especially. With those who are not saints, when giving share with them the message of Jesus Christ.

I’ve been there and I’m sure that many of us been hustled like that. I thought that I was robbing God when I wasn’t paying 10% of my gross income. As it turns out, I wasn’t robbing God, the mand of gawd was robbing me.

I typically do NKJV too and THAT IS THE VERSION FRED PRICE WAS READING FROM!!! The bottom line is that Fred is a pimp, he’ll do damage no matter what version you give him.
I’ve started leaning to the ESV and if you noticed, every blue moon I’ll use the ESV version of scripture here. I have not been using the NAS version, but having skimmed it I don’t have a problem with it. There are only 2 translations that I sound a LOUD WARNING AGAINST. Those are “The Message” and “Good News” versions. “The Message” version was done by one guy who wanted to excite his Sunday school class. It seems people like Joel Osteen like to reference it and I’ve found that from my read, reference, research and study of scripture it fails to represent things honestly. It’s a good one to use if you desire to push heresy like the prosperity doctrine though
. The “Good News” version although I’ve never looked at it much at all, every true saint I know that uses it eventually dumps it. I’ve been told it misrepresents scripture towards a Unitarian view. Not that I’ve checked out every one, but those 2 I avoid.
KJV, NKJV, ESV are the 3 I typically find myself using and I guess I’ll give the NAS more of a look now. NIV is OK, I just never use it much. Brother Greene at InYourBible.com prefers the NIV and I’ve found him discover some things there that are not explained as well in some other translations. He didn’t even realize other translations didn’t explain one thing he notes in his videos, till I told him
.
Some folks love the 1611 KJV and will touch nothing else. The 16111 KJV is fine with me, I just use another translation more often, given more recent findings and to have a version that reads closer to modern language. I can cover in study with NJKV or ESV in 30 minutes what will take me hours to get right with the KJV.
The various versions have words and sometimes entire verses that are either changed or totally removed. KJV, NKJV, NIV, NAS and ESV are not all the same. But I feel all of them offer a good interpretation of scripture when read in full. It seems when you want to be nearest the original Greek, scholars trend towards with ESV and I guess NAS and it seems they are similar in many aspects. That’s why I’m starting to lean towards ESV, but I’m still reading and researching things. Who knows, maybe I’ll end up at NAS too.

OK, thanks alot. I study from NKJV but will have the NIV near in case I just can’t get it. Then I’ll go back and re-read it in NKJV/KJV and do my word search and research from those 2 version. I’ve heard NAS is a good version but haven’t heard much about the ESV. thanks again. I’ll check them out my next trip to the christian book store…smiless
