IC, your point about leaving should become the standard of these apostate homosexual affirming church. Those who are under such rule would do well to get out and refuse to negoiate on matters of sexual immorality. They will soon find our that when these homosexuals reach a high level of authority, like Gene Robinson in the Episcopal church, they will dole out retribution against anyone refusing to bow Baal's sexual altar (read: tolerance and inclusion) or applaud their rebellion.

tolonaro, I did not realize that the groups you noted are apparently already separate from the ELCA. Good they are. Please excuse my lack of understanding about the various Lutheran groups.

The ELCA vote did show lots of churches were against that decision, although they lost the vote. Those are the churches that should leave the ELCA immediately.

I wonder what men like Martin Luther, and John Wesley, and Francis Asbury, and John Knox would say if they came back and found the churches they established in the shape they're in.

Ephesians 5:11-12--"And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret."

Hi tolonaro,

Lutherans who disagree with the recent decision should split from those others immediately and form a new denomination. Starting with the doctrine the Lutherans had 2 weeks ago and working from there. Meet and establish leaders who are not afraid to condemn evil and as a body of believers devote themselves to being true to scripture. From there, they can decide how they will best adhere to and spread the message of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lutherans refused to bow to Rome and you who know the truth should not accept being part of a bunch that now has given place for homosexuality, which was never allowed before.

Staying with the bunch that has condemned themselves by embracing evil is a terrible idea. They've made their allegiance known and it's time for those who truly love and fear God to “put away from yourselves the evil person.”

I know there are Lutherans who don't like the recent ruling. I'm glad you realize I'm not saying all Lutherans think it's a good thing. But I do feel you who know the truth need to leave, because it's only going to get worse with the group you are currently part of. Leave them, stand for truth and make it known that this is not a negotiable issue. Not a petty matter, but a serious problem that you refuse to bend on, not even by allowing yourselves to be remotely associated with it.

When looking at the vote, I noticed there are a vast number of you who disagree with the decision. It would be best to let those who wish to keep evil doers in leadership go their own way without your support, that is paid to Lutheran leadership.

Please recognize that the ELCA "lutherans" represent the largest of the lutheran churches but that all the other ones are united in condemning not only the homosexual errors but also their loss of any respect for God's Word itself.

You are absolutely right in your condemnation of ELCA!

The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, Wisconsin Lutheran Synod, the Evangelical Lutheran Synd, and the Association of Free Lutheran Churches may have problems but they are united in condemning homosexuality in any form. Praise the Lord!
