Given Reuben Armstrong usually prides himself in hanging out with nuts like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, I normally would not mention his name here. However, regardless of political viewpoint, people who care to defend the faith of all strips are standing up against Pulpit Pimps. As some of you might have seen me say before, people are Liberal, Conservative, or whatever, but JESUS IS LORD. We who understand the Lord desires for us to contend for the faith (Jude 1:3-4) are refusing to stand idle while pimps fleece people in the name of the Lord.
Mr. Armstrong has a new book coming out titled Snakes in the Pulpit. He’s exposing the pimps and calling them on the carpet!
But wait, there’s more!
National Talk Show host Reuben Armstrong has put TD Jakes, Eddie Long, Creflo Dollar, and Joel Osteen, the top four Mega-pastors, “Under Fire.”
The Reuben Armstrong Show airs on Streaming Faith which is the largest Christian based website in the world and broadcasts in eight states and on TV around the World. Armstrong will release a new book titled “Snakes in the Pulpit.” The book is scheduled for release on August 29th, 2007. Armstrong will be sending a certified letter to these four pastors asking them to resign from their positions as Pastors because they are “deceiving true believers.”
In “Snakes in the Pulpit” Armstrong states, “…these four pastors are using the word of God to manipulate the true believers for fame and fortune.” This book will expose the deception that these four “pulpit pimps”, as Armstrong defines them in his book, are using the word of God to get rich and support their royal family. According to Armstrong, these mega-pastors have deceived thousands and thousands of people and yet are raking millions and millions of dollars from their extremely large congregations.
There are several mega-churches that are featured on national TV and radio that have spawned a new type of celebrity: “Mega-pastors.” These men have risen in stature and gained the public’s trust as irreproachable men of God as their churches have attracted hundreds of thousands of members and millions of viewers and listeners.
“Judgement day is coming: their status nor money won’t get them to heaven,” Armstrong said.
Let’s pray this book is a good work and helps saints learn the truth.
One has to wonder though. Where did Armstrong come up with the label “Pulpit Pimps”
?
update 8/9/2007 8:32PM: I just received this message and the sender says they are Reuben Armstrong.

He must have seen the comments mentioning that his page was hard to find on streamingfaith.com.
Sadly I’m not surprised. Mr. Armstrong is calling out the pimps and the folks at Streaming-no-faith know that is bad for their business, given they represent the Religious Industry.
update 10/13/2007 1:30PM: Since this book’s release, distributing information about the authenticity of the content has surfaced. Please also read the post Did Reuben Armstrong Plagiarize G. Craige Lewis? Snakes in the Pulpit Reads Like Jezebel’s Finest Hour. (*Updated*)

I wonder if the “mega-snakes” will respond like Fred Price did with a lawsuit?
This is incredible. I even got an email today saying Eddie Long, et al were “under attack”.

Just looked for Reuben Armstrong on streaming faith….he is not there. spoke with streaming faith he is not listed on their site. Got any idea what’s going on.

It seems he’s harder to find there now. Oh I wonder why…
Here is a show link that I found, although I don’t know if it works. Can’t say I endorse all of his work (seen some of his clips on YouTube, I’m not signing up with the hustlers at StreamingFaith.com for an account), but I’m hoping his calling out the pimps helps some folks.

See the update in the post above. He’s been kicked off streaming-no-faith.

This says a lot about Streaming No Faith.
I dont waste my time at that graveyard of peacocks.
Maybe this will give Armstrong a boost in his case against the pimps and their apparent pimpery.

Looks to me like the pimps and their allies play for keeps! Anybody trying to expose the game is apparently ex-communicated.
As Trump would say, it’s BUSINESS nothing personal… (Of course they want the world to think it’s “ministry”.) That’s why I keep calling them the Religious Industry. The pimps and their cohorts are nothing more than businessmen who found a cleaver means to skirt some of the taxes paid by other business entities.
If that web site was honestly about the Lord’s business (truly following the teachings of the Lord Jesus) they’d dump some of those pimps programs instead of the man who calls out the pimps.

that was a pretty interesting video. I posted the same thing on my blog.

Calling Out Pulpit Pimps is Not Easy. Reuben Armstrong Dumped By Streaming-no-faith (aka streamingfaith.com).
This is a prime example, of how breaking ranks with those who embrace pimps causes you to have to change who you keep company with. It seems somebody might not be happy about the Armstong’s coming book Snakes in the Pulpit.
I received this mes…

He who is without sin cast the first stone. We should go to GOD in prayer, fasting and lamentations for anyone who has gone astray. Our job is to watch and pray. JESUS will separate the sheep from the goats. Did GOD give you a mandate to publicly dishonor these men? Are you your brother’s keeper? Love covers a multitude of sins. Did you go through the process of how the Word says to resolve an aught with your brother? Who made you judge over GOD’s heritage? God is in the business of restoration, not destruction. I will be praying for the eyes of your understanding to be enlightened on how you could have handled this situation in a more excellent way. In HIS agape Love, Sis. Margaret (Serving Others, Inc. - Louisiana)

Sister Margaret, why do you skip over scripture such as:
1 Timothy 5:20 (New King James Version)
Read the entire chapter, that’s how a sinning elder is to be treated. Not taken in private. No, the rules for a sinning lay member are not the same as for a sinning leader in the church.
I’m not stoning anyone. It’s silly you even bring that up.

Ms Johnson youre sweet and probably well meaning but the devil dont play nice. This is war. Did you know that he appears as an angel of light? Or that he can masquerade as a loving caring bishop with thousands of members? If you could see more clearly in the spirit you’d see that these people for what they are, not what they pretend to be.
Do you believe in or practice discernment? Its usually people who dont that say the kind of stuff you did (use a lot of defensive scripture)when a wolf and a false prophet is exposed.

Had someone rebuked the bishop that molested me over 20 years ago instead of turning a blind eye in the name of “agape Love” I would not have spent years broken and searching for a safe place to worship. Thank you Independent Conservative. Let the religious ones continue to cover the snakes and wolves with “love”. You and all the discerning ones keep on protecting the sheep. Someone has to…
