Time to toss the old gang member profile book out the window and write a new one.

What is not mentioned in any article I read about this new gang, is how do gang members relate the cult of Muhammad/Islam into this? We know Kurds are Sunni Muslim for the most part. And lets not play games here, plenty of radicals find full justification for their actions in the life and words of Muhammad. Although Kurds have not shown violence toward the USA in the past to my knowledge. The current article in circulation might only skim the surface, in saying gang members felt threatened after 9/11, because police have no record of Kurds being targeted for violence after the 9/11/2201 attacks. And I don’t think rapes, assaults and home invasions are how any group defends a community. So I see the claimed spark for the gang’s formation to be a bogus front. When will an investigative reporter, that is not part of Nashville’s typical Liberal reporting class check to see if and how these gang members spin Islam into their thuggery?
