The SciFi channel has a great new show airing called Mind Control with Derren Brown. You can watch the entire first episode of the show online here. At the end of the show, he reveals how he played one of his tricks. He does not tell how he does them all, but he admits they don’t work on everyone. Just those who are susceptible to the suggestions and that is most people.

As Mr. Brown notes, he’s not a physic and making no such claims. He’s simply a man using various psychological techniques, to manipulate people into most anything he desires to see them do.

This is a show that EVERYONE can learn from. It can help you avoid con artists. It can help you avoid persuasive methods used at shopping centers. And for the Christian, it can help you not immediately buy into every trick played by mesmerists pulpit pimps such as Benny Hinn.

So far, Mr. Brown’s show has been excellent. He, like Hinn can get entire crowds to do motions at the same time that they had no clue they would do. I think in the next episode he might knock some people over, as we’ve seen Benny Hinn do and you’ve already been told about the tricks that Hinn plays with that.

I’m going to keep saying it, those who are pulpit pimps and not true servants of the Lord Jesus Christ use mental tricks against saints for their own personal gain. You must ensure that those who claim the name of the Lord honestly are true to scripture in what they do.

I will continue helping to expose bogus tactics for those willing to learn.

The next new (2nd) episode of Mind Control with Derren Brown airs on SciFi tomorrow night at 10PM ET.
