Jesus, being fully God in flesh and perfect in every way, showed we mere fully and only humans who are called to follow Him and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, how we can best defeat temptations and false doctrines. With rightly divided scripture. Notice how Jesus put Satan behind Him.
Luke 4:1-13 (English Standard Version)
|
Notice Jesus Christ took Himself to the brink of physical limits with a 40 day fast. Given this, Satan felt Christ was ripe for temptation and asked Christ to break the fast by making a stone into bread and proving He is the Son of God. Christ, having nothing to prove immediately denies Satan with Deuteronomy 8:3. Even at what would have made a mere mortal crumble, Christ did not fall to temptation for food.
Having failed with physical food, Satan went for the prosperity doctrine trick! He promised the Lord great earthly gain if He (Jesus) would worship him (Satan). Unfortunately this is the temptation that causes many to stumble, for money and power they assume a false gospel, which points their hearts toward earthly things. Jesus responded to Satan’s offer with a big dose of Deuteronomy 6:13. The Lord’s ministry is not one of material gain, but of the Spirit and earnings in the Kingdom of Heaven.
Jesus continued to make it clear that you can’t serve God and money.
Luke 16:13 (English Standard Version)
|
And notice Jesus is not ecumenical about it. He does not decide to follow Satan and claim He might remain with His Father via some other path. Later in his ministry in flesh on earth, Jesus makes it clear, He is THE ONLY WAY HUMANS HAVE TO REACH THE FATHER, John 14:6.
After failing with material gain, Satan decided to try a straight suicide and bravado play, to see if Christ might test God. Satan even came with wrongly divided scripture in twisting the use of Psalm 91:11-12. Jesus responded with a firm pound of rightly divided scripture that is found in Deuteronomy 6:16 and Isaiah 7:12. Jesus stayed the course for what was intended for Him. No games and no playing around.
So Satan backed off. Satan thought he might win when Jesus was crucified, Luke 22:53. But Christ took the ultimate victory in what Satan thought he might gain from, 1 Peter 3:18-22. Which is why we who believe on Christ are saved from our sins through Christ’s shed blood AND have the gift of eternal life through His resurrection.
One has to wonder, why would anyone desire and even make up a doctrine that seeks things of this world, when those who are the Lord’s are not of this world?
John 17:14 (English Standard Version)

Praise God for the hope we saints have in His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ!
I seriously was going to lay off the cult of Joseph Smith (aka Mormonism) for a little bit, but the thing is so darn wacky. I have to keep exposing how false and ABSOLUTELY INSANE it is.
For crying out loud, there is a man who wants to be chief executive of this nation who is into this garbage. Not exactly a sign he is of sound mind.
Check out this video of 60 Minutes footage about of all things…Mormon underwear. Trust me, you’re going to flip when you see this.
And a comedian had some fun with it. But while having fun he exposes how this garbage got started and what the real word on the street is about them. How Mormons really feel about them, aside from the PC claims made about them.
This video has a small bit of profanity, please excuse it.
OK, next Presidential debate, somebody has just GOT TO ask Mormon cult member Mitt Romney about this.
In all seriousness, Mormons need to stop that cult mess, toss out those garbage cult books and embrace the Lord Jesus Christ of the true Christian Bible, not the Joseph Smith translation.
(As usual, Mormons will not be allowed to comment with their cult garbage responses.)

It was so interesting seeing how false teacher Frederick K.C. Price, a man who claims you are a “god robber” if you don’t pay into a contrived system of collections that he calls “tithes” and he even wrote a book about it, ran off to sue ABC News when they said he had a few things that he says he does not own. One of those items was a “private jet”. Team Price responded by saying that Price does not “own” a private jet. Well when you run a club that you call a “church”, you can do some pretty neat things. Like, having a private jet to fly in, but not actually having it in your own name. Just front it as the “church jet” and suddenly you get to fly in it and always claim you don’t “own” a jet. Fred’s “church” owns a jet, but the jet was purchased FOR HIS (so-called ministry) USE. The ordinary people paying him 10% don’t get to fly in it themselves, but Fred gets use out of it for his pulpit money pimping, oh I mean his “ministry”. The only others who get to fly are the crew and assistants in Price’s game, like the “praise team” type folks that get the crowd pumped up to serve up the loot.
Now I’m sure in the time of the apostles they could have hooked themselves up with some nice accommodations if they simply gave less to the poor. But they gave lots to the poor and lived rather poor lives themselves, giving for the sake of the gospel. While today’s pimps (let’s keep in mind not every pastor is a pimp, but Fred Price is) broadcast their giving, which is only usually a SMALL percentage of what their “churches” take in. Their boasting of charitable deeds is not what the Lord commands. And the pimps live like CEOs to boot! They even claim it’s God’s desire for them to do this, although the actions and lives of the apostles totally contradict their deeds. They sometimes claim the wealth of some old testament figure like King Solomon, never noting that was before Christ established the new covenant and the use for money changed, because Christ desired we seek riches in Heaven, not earth. When Christ saw respected men of the temple with great wealth and binding people with burdens, he denounced them, see Matthew 23. Woe to Frederick K.C. Price!
So back in this other post, I noted that our brother on YouTube bezel333 mentioned Price has a jet. Well Price’s “church” has a jet! I immediately questioned bezel333 about that statement, because I didn’t want Fred’s legal bandits going after him too. Brother bezel333 helped me track down the source of his claim. I got in touch with the folks over at Professional Pilot Magazine. Turns out that in their November 2005 issue, which you can order a copy of for just $10, they did a full story on Price’s “church jet”. I’ll note just a few interesting statements from that article below. I have to be brief though, because I’m not thinking the nice people over at Professional Pilot Magazine want me to post their entire article online.

Fred Price did not “have to” buy a building in New York. But I guess it made good business sense. Why give more to the poor when you can buy a building in New York to call people “god robbers” from? Call me crazy for reading my Bible on my own, but I feel the apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ devoted so much money to poor saints because they saw giving as unto the Lord in what Christ stated in Matthew 25:31-46. While they traveled and lived cheap, not gobbling up buildings for a Religious Industry Empire.
Welcome to the world of mega-churches and celebrity preachers. “Make no mistake about it-this is a business,” says Price. “We have the same needs for corporate jets and productivity tools as any other business.”
…
It’s business people, business. He needs more stuff, because he creates more burdens on his assembly by buying more things to spread his “god robber” message from. Sure there were already plenty of churches in New York City, some good, others bad, but Price figured he had to establish one there with his unique brand of false doctrine. I guess he didn’t feel anybody was spreading false doctrine the way he can. If you read scripture (that would be the Bible folks) you’ll notice that all the saints worked together. The apostles would go help all the churches and seek to fund poor saints in need. They would establish new churches if the people preaching in the area were preaching a false doctrine, otherwise they would work with the people in the area, see Titus 1.
…
Expanding operations to the US east coast, and orchestrating weekly sermons on both sides of the country, would not have been practical without a corporate jet. Today, the 19th-century New York property on Central Park West in Manhattan is well established and runs with its own local pastor. Price and his flight team have been able to cut back the former 2128-nm weekly commute to a once-a-month routine.
…
You’ve got to fly to the money capital of New York City (Manhattan), to make sure your pimp game is running smoothly you know.
…
In 1998, having traveled constantly on airlines for more than 20 years, Price-then 65-was ready to give up on travel. But daughter and CCC Pres Angela Evans, said, “No dad, you can’t retire-you have too much to offer people.”
…
A shame he did not go with his first idea. With the help of his daughter, who he placed in a position of church leadership, he’s the pimp putting a burden on both the East and West Coast saints who fall for his game.
…
“Other aircraft types might have done the job for us,” Price says, “but we got stuck in the Cadillac showroom and we didn’t get any further.”
…
That “Cadillac” flies him to more than just NY too. He also uses it to help him get overseas with his pimp game.
Price says:
“I’m the product of this ministry and a business aircraft both preserves the product and extends the reach of our ministry”
He’s the product? To think I was upset when TD Jakes reduced Jesus Christ, calling Him a “product”.
CCC’s VP of marketing notes that they can only pull off pimp game like this with the help of the most loyal of sheeple, when he says:
…
Michael Evans notes that the 80/20 marketing rule-20% of customers generate 80% of income-applies to the ministry business too, meaning that it’s important to hold on to core clientele.
…
As Trump would say, it’s “business” nothing personal…
Now the pimps put lots of money into jets to spread their lies. But I know a good pastor who suggested a plane that saints could help good Christians purchase, that serves a much better function. Consider real missionary planes, that could help Christian missionaries reach areas that have not heard the gospel of Jesus Christ and saints who actually are in need. People who don’t live in the richest nation on planet earth and really could die of starvation. The company behind the effort to build planes that meet the needs of missionaries is here. If you’re going to help buy a plane, why not buy a plane that really does work to help poor saints and not show piece junkets for a pulpit pimp.
If you want to learn some truth about today’s contrived system of collection called “tithing” you can check out this old post.
update 8/30/2007 9:28AM: I wanted to be sure I mentioned everyone that is allowed on Fred’s “church” jet. I took another look at the magazine article and see in my post above that I forgot to mention some others who get to ride in the jet. In addition to those mentioned in the post above, of course his wife can ride and also the booksellers, the financial staff and the donation collectors get to ride too. I guess that makes good business sense.
update 8/30/2007 10:08AM: I know Team Price has mentioned that Fred has 2 Bentleys and denied he has 7 cars. But it seems once upon a time many sites recorded that he claimed to have a Rolls Royce. What’s up with that?
Thomas Weeks is a pulpit punk and a pulpit pimp! Because punk men beat women.
When I first heard about Global Destiny CFO Lorraine Robinson’s complaint that Weeks beat her, I didn’t think there was enough evidence to mention it. Because the police report conflicted with her account of the events and she never filed any charges herself. So I figured if she’s telling the truth I didn’t have enough evidence to dare mention her claim. But now 2 other folks who knew about Robinson’s incident, Rhonda Sampson and Lynn Baker claim they witnessed Robinson after the beating and she had bruises on her neck and chest. Robinson told them that Weeks chocked and body slammed her! Sound familiar?
Watch the video below:
I’m saddened that Rhonda Sampson, Lynn Baker and Juanita Bynum all were part of an effort to cover-up a crime. This is the sick mess I’ve mentioned in a prior post of how these thugs in the pulpit are protected. Be it beating women, adultery, fornication, child molestation, stealing, you name it. For every pimp, there are loyal sheeple who defend their deeds or hear about them and seek to have things just blow over. There is nothing wrong with having police investigate if you don’t know the whole story, but might be one of very few people who knows of a criminal act!
And Juanita Bynum, the one who supposedly has helped so many woman get away from bad men. Well look at how she acted when her husband was the accused bad guy!
Lorraine Robinson is still working for Weeks and seems to be trying to duck the media. Makes you wonder what else is going on…
Lorraine Robinson makes 2 WITNESSES, which satisfies the requirement of scripture. Given she and Juanita Bynum claim Weeks beat them. Weeks does not deny beating Bynum, so really the need for a 2nd witness is a moot point.
1 Timothy 5:19-21 (New King James Version)

All Christians who refuse to openly REBUKE Thomas Weeks are failing the mandate of scripture and putting a man ahead of the Lord God. If you love the Lord, keep His commandments.
John 14:15-17 (New King James Version)
|
That helper, God’s Holy Spirit gave Paul the words he wrote in 1 Timothy 5:19-21, so it is the command of God almighty that Thomas Weeks be REBUKED without reservation.
Both Bynum and Weeks preach a false doctrine, 2 Peter 2. Saints should avoid them.
At least Rhonda Sampson and Lynn Baker finally came forward. Pray they find sound doctrine.

update 8/30/2007 9:30PM: Thomas Weeks’ debauchery exposed!
First let me say, that we all hope and pray if the Lord wills, that Randy’s daughter recovers to perfect physical health.
Just the same, there are entire households that have been upset by false doctrine and so more must be said.

First you can check out this video report. And you know about the Bynum Week’s mess.
There’s been a lot of other press about the White’s plans to divorce. I’ll list the sources, then provide more detail on why this is nothing but rotten fruit being manifest for what it really is. Each article list way more items regarding their mess than I’ll even have time to speak on here.
In the article, Paula White seems to defy all her statements of how giving her money or other deeds will grant earthly success when she says:
‘I wish there was a magic formula that gave you guarantees in life,’ she said.
She never mentions no guarantee when she’s asking for money and claiming it will cause an “angel” to stand watch over you. I’m sure even the angels turn up their noses when she runs such scams!
The article mentions Paula White is starting to work with the son of so-called bishop Rick Hawkins, Dustin Hawkins in San Antonio, Texas. Both Rick and Dustin Hawkins divorced in February of this year. How not so ironic…
They (the Whites, Bynum and Weeks) claimed you would be rich and have all kinds of success. They didn’t tell you that scripture advices their husbands should have remained single if they could not reconcile with their first wives.
1 Corinthians 7:10-11 (New King James Version)
|
Both Randy White and Thomas Weeks had their first divorces while claiming to be Christians. Meaning that if they desired to be leaders in the church God’s rules for the position should be adhered to.
They also did not tell you that their “marriages” are adultery.
Mark 10:11-12 (New King James Version)
|
They didn’t tell you that when the facts regarding them are compared with scripture, NONE OF THEM are qualified to be a church leader, 1 Timothy 3.
Why do they lie and preach false doctrine? Because if they tried to preach true scripture based doctrine, their first order of business would have to be to step down from the posts they’ve all assumed on their own accord with no true support from God.
The prosperity doctrine is showing it is no good. They can’t even live the promises they claim you will receive for listening to them. And remember this nut case named TD Jakes, who claims sending TBN money will restore all your desires in life? He’s the pimp who put up Paula White and Juanita Bynum. Then both those women, from their adulterous marriages helped prop up the names of men who are divorced from other women! But these people want to be your “life coach” and tell you how to reach “prosperity”
.
Looking at it in the lens of their false doctrines, maybe Paula White didn’t give TD Jakes a big enough Bentley? You know pimps love Bentley
. If she had presented him one with diamond and gold trim maybe this would have saved her adulterous marriage? Maybe if Bynum had given more money to TBN, as she’s told people to do in order to get “power”, maybe she would have had the power to prevent Weeks from beating her? I know my words sound harsh and that is because what their lives have done to the pockets of old ladies who send them their medicine money in hopes of a “blessing” is harsh. No I don’t cry over failure in an adulterous marriage, because God does not condone adultery. (Although I’ll repeat that it is wrong for even Bynum to be beaten. But I’m not sitting around crying for them to somehow “work it out” either. It is not a union God approves of.) The Whites, Weeks and Bynum all should stay single and remove themselves from all positions of church leadership. That is, if they really care to please the Lord, because that money they tell people to give them is not the way to do it. You think they’ve got it hard now, think about those old people who gave those pimps their last and must struggle to make it by in this life. While Paula White hangs out in a $3.5 million Trump Tower condo. The pimps claim other things outside of their preaching make much of their wealth for them. So why ask the church for a dime then? The apostle Paul never wanted to be a burden on the church, 2 Corinthians 11:7 and 2 Thessalonians 3:8. Pray these pimps one day turn to follow the Lord in truth and turn away from false doctrines.
The folly of false doctrines is becoming evident 2 Timothy 3:1-9.
You have only ONE HOPE which is Jesus Christ and you can’t buy favor with Him. Favor is to accept Him as Lord and receive the gift of eternal life, John 3:16-21.
The failure in their lives should be a sign to you, that their words are mere fables and twists on the Word of God.
2 Timothy 4:3-4 (New King James Version)

Turn from them and consider the sound doctrine outlined in scripture. The words are not outdated, they are God’s Word for your life and theirs as well. Your earthly life is short, as vapor that will soon pass away, James 4:13-17. Consider what pleases God most for the benefit of your eternal soul. His message is in scripture, not the mouths of those who simply want your money, 2 Peter 2.
