I take no pleasure in making this post. But as one called by the Lord to do His will, I am compelled to tell the truth. To prevent the name of the Lord from being mocked and for the benefit of those who will come to know the truth. I must contend for the faith.

I see people all the time crying they don’t feel Bush is a Christian because of some political stance he takes on an issue. No man is saved by works, but by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, that Jesus is the ONLY means for salvation from sin. So if saved, Bush could make a policy decision and still be very much saved. It can be a decision that is a great sin and Bush still be saved, if he had true faith that the Lord Jesus Christ is the ONLY means for salvation. If truly saved and called by God he would work to do what is right, but still be tempted and at times even error. However salvation begins with one requirement, that a man (as in a human) who has been convicted by the Lord of their sins repent to Him and recognize Him as their only hope and the only means to salvation.

And as Peter said as inspired by God through Jesus Christ by way of the Holy Spirit:

The bottom line is this, salvation ONLY comes through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. If you compromise on this, you don’t recognize the true Lordship of Jesus and cannot be truly saved. If you don’t understand that NO MAN gets to the Father but via Jesus Christ. To teach anything else is heresy and not of the Lord. To believe anything else is to make the Lord a liar and deny the truth of Christ. No matter how supposedly good someone lives their life, it is not good at all if they refuse Jesus. Without Jesus Christ one is not and cannot be saved.

So let me cut to the chase. Below you can watch a video that has been around for a while. Of President George W. Bush denying the true Lordship of Jesus Christ, by claiming other ways to be with God.

In short, Bush is a sort of secular humanist. He feels all who treat their fellow man well will have eternal life. This is not true.

George W. Bush has denied the most basic verse of scripture, that makes the foundation of Christianity and true salvation. He has twisted it to claim: god grants everlasting life to everybody that prescribes to secular humanistic tenants and says there is a god. Many focus on statements in the Bible about loving your neighbor as yourself, but that is the 2nd great commandment.

The only way to God is through His Son.

Bush does not understand this basic tenant of the Christian faith. He has denied it. He has placed the cult of Muhammad (Islam) on par with Christianity and claims man can reach God via both or other ways, which is untrue. Osama bin Laden won’t burn in Hell for killing people, he’ll go for denying Christ as Lord. The apostle Paul, when he was Saul persecuted Christians, killed them and had them setup for murder at trials. But he was called by God and granted eternal life, because he recognized (and God made sure he understood) that Jesus is Lord.

The words of George W. Bush are primarily a slap to the face of the Lord Jesus. To try and put other gods on the level with God. Why did Jesus waste His time on the cross, if men can be saved via their own works and saying there is a god? It also is a slap in the face of the efforts of the apostles and other Christians. Who have been murdered while spreading the message of Jesus Christ. Why did the apostles waste their time telling people about Jesus and be killed for proclaiming THAT NAME, if all they needed to do was tell people to be “nice”? Bush slaps the faces of all who died for Christ alone and were killed for not compromising.

Well this all shows one thing. It shows why George W. Bush can build Muslim nations in Afghanistan and Iraq. Nations that explicitly proclaim the cult of Muhammad and prosecute any that try to leave that cult.

So what about groups like the Southern Baptists? They know Jesus Christ is the only way and so obviously Bush defies the sound doctrine they know of how one must be saved. Many a Southern Baptists worked to have Bush become and remain President of the United States. Hey I voted for Bush too, the choices were awful. But we must accept that Bush is not the brother we thought he was.

Those who do not embrace the Lord Jesus Christ and His teachings are His enemy. All who endorse other ways outside of the Lord Jesus fail to embrace Him.

We are saved by faith. As Paul notes, being inspired by God, to say to a group who had accepted Jesus as Lord.

Works could not save the thief on the cross next to Jesus. But that thief expressed FAITH IN JESUS and the Lord said to him:

Works are done by those who have the opportunity to perform them and display faith when done as unto the Lord, but works cannot save any man.

Pray our President comes to know the Lord in spirit and truth.
