Hence the removal of this passage from Catholic Bibles. Also, we have the words of the prophet Isaiah, in chapter 8, vv. 19-20--"...should not a people seek their God? Should they seek the dead on behalf of the living? To the law and to the testimony!" Besides, Christ Himself said in Mathhew 6:9--<i>"In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name."</i> Notice, He didn't say, "pray: My mother in heaven."
